Stephen Hendry always crumbled against top opponents. Not if he was playing Jimmy. He literally won 4 of his 7 world titles against Jimmy,then Ebdon and Nigel Bond. Hendry also lost World Finals to Ken & Ebdon. Why we call the Hendry GOAT of luck🏆 🐐

Williams, not only he's super talented, cool tempered and arguably the best single ball potter in the tour right now, I'd argue that ATM he's got more guile than any other player (Selby or Higgins at their peaks may just shade him in this regard). Superb

Most of that lead happened when Marks game was in pieces from 2008-2017. During that period he lost to everyone consistently. Over the last 5 years its 3-3 and Williams has won their last 2 encounters.

@@user-jv9oy7vg5r Yes but that head to head is over 30 years of very different Mark Williams forms as a player. Most of those losses were between 2008 and 20017 almost a decade of poor form. You know that Mark was close to retiring because his game became that bad right? The last 5 years their head to head is even. Because we are talking about two all time greats surviving 3 decades you have to look at a period.
At their best its close and depends on luck too ,and Ronnie is at his best this season. He is having one of his best seasons ever. Don't take my word for it listen to all the great things Ronnie says including how Williams is so strong over the last 5 years. How he could not do much in that final because Mark was too strong. Ronnie does not give compliments easy and to Williams he gives bundles. In fact all three of the class of 92 give each other the highest of respect. That means something. They know each others game better than we do :)
Don't get me wrong I am actually a big fan of all 3 class of 92, equally. Ronnie is my favorite in some obvious ways, mark is in other and John too.

last frame in the final was probably the worst snooker frame i've seen since 2003 (year i started watching snooker).
