that match was a terrific final
It's an amazing final. The people in the arena got a real treat because the final can often be quite an anti-climax compared to fantastic semis.

this was a feel-good moment for me, Williams has been my favorite alongside Ronnie for a long time.

i have cried 5 times in my life watching sport- when ali beat foreman in 1974, when man utd won champions league in 1999, wales beating belgium in european championships in 2016, man utd beating liverpool in last year's fa cup quarter final(2024) , and this match when mark williams won the world championship when it seemed that he was a spent force
