Just shows his class . There's great player's and then there's natural talent . Knocking in a maximum under the lights at this stage of his career . One of the games Greats
@@dennisahmet7882 was still heavily dominated by hendry, some great players but wasn’t necessarily that competitive as hendry was an absolute animal and cut from a different cloth, ronnies the greatest but absolute prime, got to be hendry
@@dylanfeatherstone9836 I agree with you on that one. Hendry was a force of nature in his prime, but he still got bested several times by Ronnie early on in his career. Unfortunately Hendry retired a bit too early in my opinion, he's still one of the greatest players to ever hold a cue stick. Ronnie is on another level compared to everyone else though
Mark "The welsh potting machine" Williams my favourite player so Happy to see him hitting his 3rd career maxi. sad he lost the match but yeyyyyyy markyyyy
Man, still knocking in 147s at almost 50 years old? He's only gotten better with age. I'm glad he doesn't take himself too seriously, either, he gives the sport so much spirit and levity while demonstrating so much natural ability. One of the best and the brightest.
Good stuff! And thank you for keeping the full version, another couple of mins won't make any difference but watching the whole thing without that annoying skipping from shot to shot is just awesome
Both Mark and Neil played absolutely brilliantly all match. Very few mistakes, and excellent all around games. Had Mark played any other player that day, he would have won, but this match was so far the best one of the season.
None of the pro players are truly in the flow, or put in a lot of effort for the tough table. Make the tough table have a prize of a million and you’d see a few 147’s lol
@@arama0010 yeah, just another example of them not taking it seriously. That’s part of the reason too that all these yotubers are somehow getting much better scores than pro snooker players- they take it much more seriously lol
I do wonder if Ronnie will be interested again in making Maximums now that Mark's got the 'oldest player to make a maximum' record and Ronnie Loves smashing a record even if you do only get 'pocket change' for making them these days 🤣🤣
Was watching this game. Called my friend after the third frame. Came back to the match after the interval. Checked the last frame to see if mark got a century, and sure enough he got a maximum. I was so mad
Similar incident happened to me a few years back. I skipped 1 frame for my break, came back and the referee said “ Judd Trump 147 and the frame “…… I lost my mind

All time greats. As he’s won three world titles. Took another all time great to defeat Robertson.
Absolutely brilliant. I flipping love Mark Williams. Legend.
One of the greats! awesome clear up from one of the nicest players and he’s
Welsh , what more could you ask 🏴
The great Ray Reardon is 90 :)
“Nobody will ever forget Hendry missing the black to the middle.” I bet Stephen loved hearing that.
Nobody will ever forget.....thanks to you!
The class of 92 still keeps on going
Yes. How many of today's pros will still be at
the top in 30 years.
Greatest players came out of that era...the 90s had so much competition unlike today.....90s best era for snooker

What an awesome break by a true legend of the sport... An all time great..
One of the best 147's you will ever see.
Not quite, but brilliant non the less.
Barely touched a jaw with any of them. Agreed, it was incredibly pure.
For the first time, I watched a live 147……. thrilling
You never forget your first.
All pots right in the heart of the pocket. Probably one of the best 147s ever!

It is a very good response after getting down 3-0 against Robertson and the max break he had was 9 points before 147. It is just incredible 👏👏
'Very good'?
That's a bit of an understatement, isn't it? What's about 'very good' in your book?
@@Buz-Lunch-Punx I mean very good means "very good". In my book, it means that he has put a "spectacular" performance!

'AMEN' to that!
Well done Mark congratulations 👏👏🎉

What a humble guy🙏❤️❤️❤️excellent
Marks temperament on an off the table, in my mind, makes him a true gentleman in the sport of snooker.
Gorgeous! So happy for you Mark!
can't wait to see what this mark williams guy plays like at his peak!
William still a classy cool oldie but goodies player along with John Higgins
Well done Mark 😊
Well done Mark!
Обожаю Марка!
Браво, Мастер!
Aww that lady at the end :-))))
He is really a great character
Felicitări.
Arta și sport. Sport și arta. O poezie.
Great job Mark.🤟😍
Top class player 👑
Just beautiful...!
What a pity! 147 and no more then 5k likes, mark is a snooker royalty, this is what's wrong with tha game
Forever young.
Make a max then just run away. Love it!
@@wayneanthonyholmes6452 Exactly!
Love how he did poorly with Hendry's Tough Table but cleared a difficult 147!

Zabardast 👌👍
Whenever a 147 comes, usually we see Robertson as opponent.
yes, except when he wasn't playing
True 😂
Made one in a exhibition in June
Knocks in his 3rd 147 and then just casually strolls off, not giving any fucks. Never change.
well, he did show up naked in a towel when he won a few years back on a bet.
Молодец!!!
And as is the custom for 147s, Neil Robertson was there ;-)
Heavens above, these commentators on WST just NEVER SHUT UP, they absolutely ruin the atmosphere, just listen to them, yap yap yap yap.
Lol makes a 147. Promptly leaves for the interval 😂😂
Who are the commentators?
other than the last pink, it seemed every ball was in the center of the pocket.
Robertson, AGAIN!
But why did he left so fast... ?😮

Is he trying for an new tip? It sounds different!
Normally, when you make a 147 your opponent shakes your hand.. except when Trump makes a 147 against Ronnie.... just saying

Only thing that spoils this is Joe Johnson. He has to be the worst commentator out there
I love Joe
He always sounds as if he's sat on the bog, turtling. Slight strain in his voice at all times, hinting at a subtle consistent pain as he pushes.
