I can not stress enough how much this video has helped. Within the past year I have had a virus on my PC and I essentially paralyzed it. I was still scared of if it could somehow comeback and even when I tried to delete the remnants of it, it would not delete. This video helped me remove it and I am very thankful because of it.

I am pleased that Britec has spotlighted Revo Uninstaller. While I do not use it frequently, it is absolutely invaluable for my needs. I used the free version initially, it worked great and in fact, so well that I acquired the PRO version. The Engineers at Revo are most skilled in their ability to ferret out any "hidden" traces of MS bloatware and other problematic applications that resist the need to uninstall.
I had a program that wouldn't launch the uninstaller, it said I lacked sufficient access, yet, it was my home computer. I ran REVO and it removed a lot of files but left many behind.I had to run it 2 more times before it fully uninstalled and was removed from uninstall manager list on Windows and in the REVO program menu. REVO got me there and solved my problem, The program refused to update for a very long time. I kept getting an error message I must uninstall the old exe installer first, which was odd but all is better now. Thanks for the video.

Two very good programs. I have been using Revo Uninstaller for many years, the free version and never fails to uninstall those programs that the Windows OS fails to uninstall. Yes always a good idea to backup the registry first. The Revo development team have done a good job with registry cleaning without compromising your OS. Thank you Britec09 for this very useful video.
Omg omg Revo actually worked!! I had previously installed a videogame launcher on a 2nd drive on my laptop, and when I moved that drive to a new PC, the remnants of the registry/appdata/etc on the main C drive on the laptop were not letting me uninstall, reinstall, or repair the launcher when I was trying to use it on my laptop today. Spent a good 4 hours looking for a solution today. Tried manually finding all the associated registry values to delete, but couldn't. So glad Revo worked and thank you for this video!!!
Just beware when searching and deleting anything in the Registry as a combination of similar letters can show up within various keys which may not refer to what you are looking for.

Revo uninstaller was on the spot. It helped me when a program can't scan for its msi/installer so it cannot be uninstalled. But with revo uninstaller it just uninstalled it like air. my problem is that i cnat press "unistall" and the "modify" button, its like a ghost folder, i cant find it nowhere in my computer only at the "installed apps" and it wont let me press unistall WTF do i do LOL

Great video Brian I have used the Revo in the past and didn't know that the free version doesn't work as well as the paid for. Plus thanks for the tips on the registry Find and Edit I didn't know you could do that like that so a big shout out to you from me. I used open the registry and hunt through the listings until I found the ones I wanted. This is going to be one of my favourite videos by you because you are just a wizz with this stuff. Top stuff mate because as you know there are one or three programs that are so persistent.

This is exactly what I needed. I uninstalled Vegas Pro 18, but the next day I went to uninstall something else and noticed vegas pro was still there, so i tried uninstalling it again, and it refused to uninstall. Then I found this and...come to find out...the REGISTRY was being an ass, telling my PC that it's still installed when it wasn't, so I nuked the registry with everything vegas pro related using the tool you used and it's finally gone from my PC for good.

I have been using Revo uninstaller and Everything for a or a while now. An excellent programme. This beats having to do a manual uninstall, which I have had to do previously. Good video Brian!
Been using revouninstaller for many years. I think its great, but it doesn't always remove such programs. For those programs I use wmic. If that doesn't work, I remove the files from the hard drive and then go through the registry as you showed to remove all entries from the registry which can be quite time consuming. Not used *everything*, but will have a look as it may save a little time.

The issue is, that the program is there on my computer but it's not showing up on the windows uninstaller and the program that I downloaded to remove the software. The program is showing up on the apps via settings but it's not letting me uninstall. I'm trying to remove the Corsair icue software since I get a message saying Failed to start icue services.

Hey Brian, I hope you are doing well I have an HP ZBook 15 g5 mobile workstation with Bang & Olufsen I'm continuously surfing and trying different methods to solve my problem for more than 1 week. I even try your method too. My laptop having a conflict between the Bang & Olufsen built-in audio app and my audio driver. While my audio driver is working perfectly fine with no issues, the Bang & Olufsen app is causing problems. When I check the volume, it displays a message saying "No Speakers or headphones are plugged in," and if I plug them in, it says "No audio driver installed". Uninstalling Bang & Olufsen solves the problem temporarily(after restart), but it automatically reinstalls itself after a short while, causing the audio to stop working again. This issue started after I updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I even upgraded to Windows 11 Pro from the official Windows shop, but the problem still persists. If You help me I be in your debts

After hectic day, an efforts of 8 hours was solved in just 10 min wowwwww. Thankyou so much.

Instead of trying to figure out where a program is installed, just right click the icon on the desktop and select open file location.
