When Burna said "I don't know the English word..." I felt that 😂 There are some English words that we as Africans never use or hear until we have to express that and we can't even explain ourselves 😂
Tebele Kalele oh okay. I thought he smoked too much weed. Like why can’t you articulate yourself. I do think that it’s partly due to lack of his education. Because Nigerians are very sharp, and the primary language there is English usually they are able to articulate themselves well.
Toast Nigga you sound dumb as hell. Educate your own head. Nigerians (especially the lower income ones) learn their tribal dialect first and THEN English. When they get into the professional field they’re expected to speak English to communicate with people from other tribes/foreigners. But when they’re home or with friends it’s all tribal. Real shit, u expect that nigga to be fluent in casual English when he’s been speaking the formal version his whole life? I ought to slap ur head
@Toast it's got nothing to do with education. Listen to Burna's music and the way he speaks. He's certainly not uneducated. It could be nerves or what just happens sometimes. You can't find the expression. Some African words lose weight when you translate them to English. Burna tends to be more articulate in less formal settings.
Everyone is right on this thread but i think Burna did it based on two reasons - he doesn't want to misspoke because 'English has so many words that can be termed differently' and he also wants to give room for 'FREE MINDS' to learn more about how they think .....don't be surprised he can turn this interview into a music when next you see him.
I just love how he correct them when they almost put some words in his mouth... He told them "not like" and he said his own opinion... Much love burna🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬❣️

He was trying to establish how much more Beyonce is NOT overrated compared to Drake, destiny child was a reference to a stage Beyonce won in before all these social media trend Drake enjoys today.....

I love Burna boy, interesting to hear him switch from Nigerian, UK and US accent. I love his vibe
Mheta Chronicles I wonder what accent he is talking today 😂
Yea that's pretty normal when your background is diverse.
😂 cool so many identities to choose from
When Burna said "I don't know the English word..." I felt that 😂 There are some English words that we as Africans never use or hear until we have to express that and we can't even explain ourselves 😂
Tebele Kalele oh okay. I thought he smoked too much weed. Like why can’t you articulate yourself. I do think that it’s partly due to lack of his education. Because Nigerians are very sharp, and the primary language there is English usually they are able to articulate themselves well.
Sometimes there's just no English equivalent for what we want to express.
I just love his view on social media. Too much drama. Everyone tryna compare and make mountain outta nothing✊🏿
Dodos me strong man ✊🏿
I also loved that, he is genuinely living his life and doesn't care about social media
I just love how he correct them when they almost put some words in his mouth... He told them "not like" and he said his own opinion... Much love burna🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬❣️
I LOVE how unapologetically African he is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Powerful man!
His voice is so fitting to his accent, he just sounds so beautiful and authentic.

Susans Tribe on of the worst interviews i’ve seen so far question wise... such flat and meaningless questions... :/// also as a good interviewer you let the people talk, don’t interrupt all the time.
