African American here and im always finding ways to praise you guys🙌🏾 i know a lot of African Americans have weird ignorant views of Africans but it honestly comes from that same "lets divide and conquer them" idea that was shoved down their throats by the media. My parents told me that growing up, the only thing people would show on the tv of Africa was poverty and white people used this to say "see! Arent you glad we saved you from that??!!!" Unfortunately a lot of black Americans believed it and raised their kids to believe it too. I remember in school, i would come home crying because some of the other black American kids would bully my African and Haitian classmates and i would try my best to stand up for them which caused me to get bullied too. I couldn't for the life of me understand why their parents didn't teach them to love their African classmates like they do themselves. Im soooo thankful that my parents raised me to ignore the media and to appreciate people from the motherland and to strive to always learn from and love all African people. My parents taught me that "if an African person speaks, you listen! Learn from them" And thats what i always did. It meant alot to read that she had him look for his father...His mother made me look at my relationship with my son. I now talk with him and not at him. I now expose him to other churches and cultures. I got him an older wise tutor that will also have an affect in his life. I make an effort to add to our circle wise folks and folks who give love....More than anything I teach him not to see color but to see people....Trevor's book is an excellent resourse for parents or anyone who loves to laugh...
Bria D Funny he mentioned that. It's exactly the state of mind that a lot of South Africans are trapped in now.Blacks and coloureds in SA are in a constant battle of are we to be classified as black or are we a culture. We are being boxed into the category which fundamentally means you are mixed in race....when in fact we have been this complexion ,had these eye colours as a tribe WAY before anyone started mixing and reproducing with anyone else in South Africa. It's really interesting that the thing he is preaching is the very thing people in our beloved country can't seem to practice.
Bria D we in Africa found out this after the white colonization and the neocolonialism , that the whites pushed tribes and tribal extraction against each tribe!

I think he finds it frustrating in general because most Americans including African-Americans don’t really know what goes on outside of their block. Most don’t know what happens outside of the U.S. It’s not the fault of Americans but it is the way the system is designed to only think of themselves. So for someone who has travelled and seen and worked outside of the U.S. like Trevor who makes honest observations, I imagine it can be difficult on his part hearing the exact same level of ignorance constantly. Being African-Canadian we are travellers and are privileged to live in a society where we know what happens outside of our block and country. I’m not say we are better and I know it’s a generalization but we tend to have a more universal view of the world.

Trevor Noah, South African Treasure.
I love how he shows the world that people from Africa are far more intelligent and Charismatic than the rest of the world think.
Proudly South African here
I love that about him I grew up blocks away from where his house is in soweto where he grew up and what I would love to happen is for the worlld to get rid of the universal African accent (Nigerian accent)
Some people from Africa are intelligent, let us clear that one out. Just as it is in the rest of the world. Group identities vs individualism.
Your intelligence and excellence is higher than life💛 maybe one day I'll be on your level 😭
I JUST met Africans here in Houston. I'm astonished at how I can tell an African man by his swagger and the women by their smile. I was raised so differently on Louisiana.

Trevor is good at one thing. Virtue signaling. He's also not funny at all. He has awful comedic timing and is actually a laughing stock of the true comedy world because most people see how fake he is.
He is very intelligent, but I feel like that accent makes him sound 10 times smarter on top of that 😂
Dez Naomi exactly 😂
You're not wrong! Statistically, Americans in particular judge people with a British sounding accent to be 'smarter' even if they're spouting silly, stupid shit. XD
Sakura Moonflower agreed LOL
Sakura Moonflower the reason for that is because a lot of movies are plagued with this statistic, not that it is a totally bad thing.
we speak well in South Africa on top of that we speak like 10+ other languages, not that hollywood accent , that always pisses us off
Trevor Noah dropped jewels of knowledge all over the Breakfast Club. He is AWESOME.
absolutely you just said it
We are all like him here in SA.
This dude just became my favorite celebrity ever. This young man is brilliant and talented. I'm super impressed!
Trevor is king
You must be easily impressed
Why don't they let these people talk ?
@@candycain2327 Jealousy makes you nasty 🤮….yours is the dumbest of the 5mil comments, how does that make you feel
@@Mntungwa77 jealous? That is a classic response with no logic to it, he's a liberal shill, anybody can see that
I love how he still says "WE" when referring to South Africa.
Why wouldn't he? He's South African, right? Everyone knows he doesn't mean America eventhough the racism is almost the same.
It will be interesting to see if he applies for American citizenship when he has been here long enough to do so.
I do not feel it is something to love, he is South African, how else would he refer to himself?
AMEN

Chuck Williams Main reason folks want to keep the races separate. So some can continue to deny humanity. Sad. One race: Hue...Man = People of many colors= Humans!
It’s always nice to hear intelligent people having a deep conversation. I do believe in the power of communication.
I love Trevor .., he's mentally stimulating makes you go Hummm
He's so intellectual
He is a bastard and was raised by those who betrayed their race. God created different races had no intention for people to mix
George Boehringer shut up
George Boehringer and still you’re interested.
@@kellym.6777 he act gay
I can see how Trevor got the job, he is such a wonderful thinker.
He's supposed to be a comedian on the Daily Show, not a thinker. He should work for NPR. Not funny!
Wisdom is funny, just not ha ha funny, kinda like a metaphor or satire
I was just wondering how in the world he got the job!
Wonderful pc bullshitter*
If by wonderful PC bullshiter, you mean articulate then sure.
Probably the best interview they've ever had....he's so smart
I agree...check out the Dame Dash one if you haven't...pretty inspiring
I am in awe of this man. He is highly intelligent (and so is his humour). Very much enjoy his work and broadcasts! Thanks Trevor.
I love his show more than other late night talk shows because his humor just seems more organic and not as forced.
Every time Trevor Noah said,'' oh that's funny,"" they didn't realize it was a subtle insult towards them.
Clint_tt 1 They knew lol, so many shots fired on this interview
Lolol nope! They sho didn't😁😂
I am just tired of racism and hate in general. It's literally draining.
dottiEpre
Caucasians = Racism
ugh I used to think that, but now I know it doesn't apply to all. You may have had different experiences from me to shape your point of view though, so I am not trying to change your mind. I realized shitty people will be shitty people regardless. That's there only agenda.
"Literally draining" means fluid is physically being removed from your body because of racism. "It's mentally draining" is the term you're looking for, I believe.
No...I actually start leaking from every orface of my body, so that would make my original statement accurate :) Nice try though kid!
LOL, please see a doctor about that
I love how Trevor is engaging and actually looking at Angela. It's not very often that Angela has the floor and opportunity say much.
And everytime she changes the narrative 🤬 I'm sick of her!
Trevor Noah is one of my favourite people.
i really want to meet him tommorrow
GET THAT 'U' OUT OF HERE!
His respect and call for equality is honorable. Thanks Trevor
mi mi the image of you cute and thought of you is romantic....but this conversation is very sexy...
My future husband will be at Trevor Noah's level. Period.
Deserving.
Speaking negativity to random people on the internet? These guys expose themselves so effortlessly.
Mine is.

Trevor is a saint, he’s so patient with these dummies! I watched this because of him but it was hard to listen to the other three.
Omg yes! I knew I wasn't the only one they are so annoying! Angela atleast was trying but she's so basic I just cannot with her either. Envy & char were like 2 giggling Lil girls most of this Interview. I barely wanted to even watch the whole thing. Ugh
@@girliejax Trevor Noah should run for The President of the United State!!!

Brother Gregory made a comment towards one of Charlemagnes' response ie, ....AND they say "You're SMART".
In the interview you can tell Mr. Gregory is not joking. Mr Gregory is looking at Charlemagne sideeyed as to say, "I know he didn't say that". Charlemagne joked it off and you're on national television with that dumbness.
#Just SAD
You can tell he got a little frustrated at times. The three of them combined are no where near his level of intelligence. They can't articulate themselves as well as he can. I once heard someone say never pass an opportunity to shut-up, that's a piece of advice that applies to The Breakfast Club, especially Charlamagne. Did you see how he totally ignored the clownin Charlamagne was doing and spoke right through it.
He was playing along he is a comedian after all and understands the format of the show.
Exactly Upful Soul. Charlamagne had a lot of good input that he added with what Trevor Noah was saying too
true, but you have to give them credit for bringing him up there, knowing that he would starch them on the intelligence and woke side of the game.
Reindale Hill I totally understand what you are saying about the intelligence level but it's bigger than that just as Trevor said, about the crossover music now people that never heard of Trevor Noah got a glimpse of what he's about and yes the breakfast club members are not as articulate as him trust me Charlemagne definitely knew his place in the interview it's about each one teach one!
Reindale Hill i agree with your argument but don't get it twisted, making jokes is not a sign of unintelligence.
