    His accent is so unique, it’s like American/British/Nigerian

    • @Seven-c6q
      @Seven-c6q 5 лет назад +38

      Tegan Munday he’s never lived in america but you can definitely here the influence I suppose from touring and being that America is a huge influence on the world musically etc .... but really he’s a Nigerian who was raised in London a lot of his youth so any accent outside of that is questionable 😂

    • @akikiaovie
      @akikiaovie 5 лет назад +73

      There is no Nigerian accent specifically because different tribes have their accents but in southern Nigeria there is a centrist accent that’s the accent you see in most people who are middle class in Nigeria and went to proper schools like Burna boy but that centrist accent still depends on your leaning balance within the tribes you are around at school

      You're right brother but many of your country people don't like their follow African brother and sister most expecialy the way they search Nigeria in the airport is like they're enemies why are they after Nigeria like that is Nigeria the only country that corrupt American and European and Chinese are free of corruption right? That why your people as to butcher Nigeria people in the name of searching Also other African country too, why are you people Chanel the division of African everyday anyway that is the plan of our colonial master I know they didn't successeded to colonize Ethiopia physically but they control there and turn then again their brothers in Africa.

    Burna’s mindset on educating, empowering, enlighten our people to look up and see your strength. In history class the teacher told us in junior high school that the people from Africa don’t like the black people from America and didn’t like that we’re called African Americans. Thank God Burna checked the Chocella marketing and promotion and investment team about down playing his impact in the music industry. A few days ago I saw he’s born on the same day as me. God I’m grateful that he’s the face for something I wanted to say about us coming together and know that are roots are from Africa. Ancestry. com just helped me know the country. Cameroon 🇨🇲 🇧🇯 🇹🇬

    The interviewers must have been so frustrated at points with him giving so many brief answers.. 😅 I can tell they kept wanting him to go deeper but then had to move on cos many of the answers didn't give much to unpack.. 🏃🏾‍♂️ But then at unexpected moments, he'd light up & get talking a lot, or suddenly drop some gems.. 💎 haha this is the level of surprising & unbothered I aspire to be by nonsense in the next decade tbh.. ⚡💣 - @Acharich
