If Verstappen is even half as good as last season then he is a steal at 30 million. It’s not only that he is the best driver with the best car, it’s also that he is so reliable, which means that you can very confidently put the x2 boost on him. The other drivers may surprise you and snatch p2 or even p1 occationally. But they may as well end up in p16 or DNF, and cost you points. So I go Max with the boost, and the RB20 for a third Max score. Perez is no worse than Leclerc, Norris or Hamilton stats wise.

I’m thinking there could be two “templates” at least early this season. I’m guessing that most of us have those two builds at the top. Can’t wait until next week. Guess it’s time to binge DTS

It hope Max, Yuki, Ric, Red Bull, RB+2 midfield drivers (probably Albon and Gasly) doesn't just end up being the best team. It is quite a boring lineup and very obvious to make.

@@petterv123 Yeah, always wait until the very end for the fullest picture, lol.
I will say one thing I feel like a lot of people didn't fully grasp last yeah is that if you have a driver you don't expect to score any points anyway (and that is half the grid more or less), it is actually the best value to pick someone bad at qualifying, but in a reliable car. So he won't DNF and will gain points by finishing ahead of where he started, instead of going in the red from going backwards. That's why I think KMag is actually a pretty slept on, especially since the Haas just did the most laps of any team and didn't have any reliability issues. He was a good scorer last year as well, just way over priced from the start and hit by some unlucky DNF's.
People tend to just pick who they think is the best driver, but with how scoring works that is not always the smartest for the cheap seats.

The Ferrari constructor is very tempting. Your thoughts are exactly where I’ve been at this whole week. If checo can perform well, it’s an easy choice to slot Red Bull and RB. If he cannot, Ferrari should be a strong choice.

Something to think about is who the better driver is. Especially with how reactionary Ocon was last season, and Williams hopefully starting with a decent car from the get-go, I think Albon has a good shot of being by a better pick than Ocon.

@@xenon2561But only one team that actually counts in the real standings.
Personally I have gone with the 1st pick here. But it could usually change after testing. The danger of that team is now all in it is on Toro Roso. With a DNF from either Yuki or Ric you are at a huge disadvantage.

@@Dragonpuncher123 u are right about possible dnfs by Tsunoda or Ricciardo that cost me a - 40 between driver and constructor, but I don't see another "little team" better than racing bulls.

Points could be different in these 2 cases and if I catch the right choice I have more chance to compete for the highest positions in the world

@@marcocire8871Yeah I agree it is probably the best team on paper. But when you have both drivers and the constructor you are living a little dangerously, especially with a team that is going to be fighting in the midfield.

You can’t communicate with your league members in the league. The global league is for participants to score the major prizes on offer for the top three teams at seasons end. The global league is total points but the head to head leagues are based on points scored week to week
