i am at 122 budget and my current team NOR LEC HUL GAS TSU FER AND MER. I am planning to take a -10 to go to NOR HAM HUL GAS ZHO MER MCL. Your thoughts on it? Also who would you pick as the 2nd b-tier driver between HAM / RUS/PIA????

Such a hard decision, I'm torn between the following 4 teams: 1. Ver - Tsu - Mag - Hul - Gas - Mcl - Fer (3 free transfers) 2. Nor - Pia - Bot - Zho - Sar - Mcl - Fer (3 free transfers) 3. Nor - Ham - Hul - Gas - Sar - Mer - Fer (3 free transfers) 4. Lec - Pia/Ham - Hul - Gas - Sar - Mcl - Fer (1 free transfer) How would you rank these if you want to balance points and budget?

What would be the best limitless team in your opinion?

Ran Max/Haas/Zhou/Ocon with MCL/FER in Spain and am seriously considering wildcarding into the 2x MCL/MER lineup you showed. Seems like a lineup that could absolutely print week to week whereas I can't get anywhere appetizing with my current build without taking at least a -10. Only thing remotely sexy I could get in two swaps would be Lando/Haas/Zhou/Ocon RBR/MCL

I love the MCL MER 2xNOR HAM lineup! Looks super powerful, and it's definitely worth the sacrifice of SAR in my opinion. Unfortunately, I boxed myself in with a 2xSAI LEC FER MER lineup when I fell for the hype and believed SAI and LEC would fight for pole position and possibly the win. I'm tossing up between 3 teams... Double premium driver team 2/2 free transfers for FER MER 2xNOR SAI HUL ZHO SAR Classic VER team -10 for RBR MER 2xVER MAG HUL ZHO SAR RBR/MCL team Wildcard for RBR MCL 2xNOR TSU HUL BOT ZHO I'll try and catch you on the deadline stream on FanAmp, might have to lock in my team several hours before the deadline too!

You have a better budget than me... I think im gonna have to go with NOR, HAM, Zhou, Hulk, Sar + Merc + Ferrari. Its the best i could afford, with 0.7M left. Thinking of applying 3x to NOR.

I think i mentioned to you on Twitter that I AM in the BOT HUL SAR spiral of losing money every week to enable my NOR /B + FER MER. and at 116.5 million I have very limited options. I just don't want to risk a 4 C tier lineup on a sprint, which by the way would cost me a -10 anyway. Nevertheless I will have top break out of this cycle at some point. I could get lucky with a NOR+ TSU GAS MAG HUL , but like it has been shown...these guys might all lose money. It's a conundrum.

Anyone else experiencing an F1 Fantasy glitch, where it appears to forget you’ve made a team and comes up with ‘Pick Your Team’ instead of ‘Manage Your Team’? Ended up not being able to make any edits to my team this weekend and still can’t see what points I’ve got or edit for the weekend coming :(

fortunately we can see out right lap pace with sprint quali before setting our teams, 50% chance of heavy showers on sunday so might want to pick a driver stronger in the wet too

I’m honestly just thinking of doing a Max Verstappen line-up with replacing Ferrari with Mercedes and a Logan Sargeant to Albon, McLaren seem like the best team on the grid right now and I personally wouldn’t rule out Oscar Piastri as a cheap DRS boost with something like Lewis Hamilton or George Russell. I also want to talk about Pierre Gasly and he’s easily one of the best drivers on the grid for his price right now, he’s cheaper than Ocon and is delivering more consistent weekends. I think Austria is a gonna be a tough weekend to see which line-up you want, whether we go with Max Verstappen and a bunch of midfield drivers or double premium drivers with Logan.

Hey, yeah I mean I'm at the bare minimum budget for my 2 B tier guys. Have NOR LEC MER FER , but with HUL BOT ....and SAR. I honestly cannot afford to upgrade anywhere. So depending on Sprint Quali I'll decide between LEC and HAM. I'm not sure how I can break out of this situation...maybe running a 1 B tier asset squad not this weekend, but a bit later and hoping for the best. What do you think Rob?

Currently I have Lando, Hamilton, Ferrari and Mercedes. I will stick with this lineup for Austria. Next is Silverstone, where one of the two will probably win DOTD also.

I'm still sticking with lando, hamilton (or sainz but mostly hamilton), 3 drivers whoever i can afford - hopefully alpines, mclaren and mercedes. Lando is justa better asset than verstappen atm

I ran a similar team to you, but 2x SAI and LEC. The problem is, I haven't had the good weeks recently to balance out the bad so my rank has plummeted down to 27k 😬 So, my team is FER MER 2x SAI LEC MAG HUL SAR with 2 free transfers and a 116.5M in team value, and I have a few different options: Team 1 (2/2 free transfers) FER MER 2x NOR SAI HUL ZHO SAR Team 2 (2/2 free transfers) FER MER 2x VER STR MAG HUL SAR Team 3 (-10) RBR FER 2x VER MAG HUL ZHO SAR Team 4 (wildcard) RBR MCL 2x NOR TSU HUL BOT ZHO Tough choices, for me, I think the best play is probably to run a FER MER lineup because that will probably return to being the meta after Austria, but I'm tempted to take a -10 or even deploy the wildcard to get RBR in for a big green arrow.

Don't forget some can now afford Max and Lewis, as an example, with 2 good constructors. Or, Red Bull as a constructor with still drivers like Lando and Lewis. My choice this week is pick up Max as 1 of 2 top drivers, or Red Bull. Red Bull has been solid, almost doubling Ferrari in Spain because of fast pit stops.

I can afford VER HAM HUL ZHO BOT FER MER. 3x on VER and 2x on HAM sounds like an idea, yes?

Rob i actually think Lando with RBR and MERC is better than the 2 premium driver lineup. This is because REd bull is killing it with pit stops , 2x Ferrari score in Spain, and this is without even ceco pulling his weight

We have the exact same number of total points - although with very different teams 😄 Ran NOR (2x), SAI, MAG, SAR, HUL and Ferrari + Mercedes. P.S. can you just confirm the league code? I get a message saying it’s invalid when I try to join.

I remember Saturday morning after FP3, I had this internal battle due to figuring out whether to transfer Charles or not. Ended up doing it and swapped him out for Lando (I had a feeling he would get DOTD, I agree with you on it being too many points 😂)

What are your thoughts on Danny Ric for this weekend? I’m debating on throwing in either Gasly or DR in my final slot. They are similar in price. VCARB announced that they are bringing in a significant upgrade for the Spanish GP. My hold back for DR is he’s still somewhat inconsistent, and if he qualifies well then there is a good chance he will drop positions causing negative points.

Phew ... so many potential options!! I think only practice will tell ... and I'm hoping that the results back my plan (at the moment) for a NOR/LEC and MCL/FER based build. Lando seems to really like Austria as well so the option is there to stick with the same build, more or less.

Ver - Tsu - Mag/Oco or Lec - Pia/Ham - Sar? First requires all 3 of my free moves, second requires none. Rest of the team is Fer - Mcl - Hul - Gas - thanks!

I think the question will be which two constructors we take.. MCL, FER or MER? RED too expensive and Pérez is not reliable.

From purely a strategy point of view, running Max makes sense, but it's just so boring.

The power rankings section is great! The main change I would personally make is to move Zhou down a fair bit because now Sauber's pace is so bad, he's just trundling around at the back at scoring 6 points in a race, maximum. He also doesn't seem too comfortable in the car, so he is a fairly high DNF risk. With MCL - FER - LEC - STR - MAG - TSU - HUL and 3 free transfers, I'm entertaining a few different options, but I could honestly just leave it the way it is if FER is back on form. My main idea is STR -> SAR and LEC -> VER, which would be great for points and set me up well for the Austria sprint. I could also go STR -> GAS and LEC -> NOR, and I would really be banking on NOR for another DOTD. Finally, if RBR is back, I could take a -10 for RBR - FER - VER - TSU - HUL - BOT - SAR.

OH I forgot to ask you: regarding Austria, would you still think Max + a 10 million budget guy is better than 2 B tiers considering the points allocation of the Sprint? Like you might get 8 points for Max and maybe a few overtake points for a TSU etc OR would it be better for say a Lando + Piastri haul of points for that race? This is why I have questions about a VER necessity for Austria
