I’m off the back of, double Haas in Monaco, and DRS Charles + Ferrari in Canada, so I need your wisdom at the most rn 😂
Me too!
@@racing1000it gets tough like that 😂
@@Ciaran_Bshit I hit the Leclerc Boost and Ferrari combo in Canada too. 😵💫😵💫
Sainz looking confident in today's press. Maybe just a rough weekend for La Rossa in Canada? Let's see.....
The power rankings section is great! The main change I would personally make is to move Zhou down a fair bit because now Sauber's pace is so bad, he's just trundling around at the back at scoring 6 points in a race, maximum. He also doesn't seem too comfortable in the car, so he is a fairly high DNF risk.
With MCL - FER - LEC - STR - MAG - TSU - HUL and 3 free transfers, I'm entertaining a few different options, but I could honestly just leave it the way it is if FER is back on form. My main idea is STR -> SAR and LEC -> VER, which would be great for points and set me up well for the Austria sprint. I could also go STR -> GAS and LEC -> NOR, and I would really be banking on NOR for another DOTD. Finally, if RBR is back, I could take a -10 for RBR - FER - VER - TSU - HUL - BOT - SAR.
From purely a strategy point of view, running Max makes sense, but it's just so boring.
With the wide range of options with constructors, running a combination of two of the Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren drivers is still viable and could be better
It's all about matching your expectations. If you want the points, you gotta be annoying.
No, it doesn't. Lol
Phew ... so many potential options!! I think only practice will tell ... and I'm hoping that the results back my plan (at the moment) for a NOR/LEC and MCL/FER based build. Lando seems to really like Austria as well so the option is there to stick with the same build, more or less.
A great strategy indeed Glenn! The two Tier B drivers is awfully very tempting, and if Verstappen doesn’t look objectively the best in practice, then running a LEC and PIA/HAM for Spain could be on the cards for me too!
I think the question will be which two constructors we take.. MCL, FER or MER? RED too expensive and Pérez is not reliable.
So it's really a decision of Max + TSU etc or a two B tier lineup. I'm leaning sticking with two B assets at the moment. Thanks and enjoy your weekend though i'll probably see you on Twitter!
Yeah exactly. I’m really not sure as I think the two Tier Bs looks objectively better on non sprint weekends, but I think Max’s consistency at Austria (and for a sprint) is just too good to ignore
I just personally feel like Lando Norris is such a strong driver and that McLaren will keep performing so I might put him instead
I think Lando is excellent too. He’s matched or outscored Max over the last few weeks. A lot of people are eyeing him off and I absolutely cannot fault that decision. I think Max is just an easy set and forget for me, so I can focus on other parts of my team these next few weeks
Ver - Tsu - Mag/Oco or Lec - Pia/Ham - Sar? First requires all 3 of my free moves, second requires none. Rest of the team is Fer - Mcl - Hul - Gas - thanks!
That’s essentially what I covered in my team strategy section 😅
OH I forgot to ask you: regarding Austria, would you still think Max + a 10 million budget guy is better than 2 B tiers considering the points allocation of the Sprint? Like you might get 8 points for Max and maybe a few overtake points for a TSU etc OR would it be better for say a Lando + Piastri haul of points for that race? This is why I have questions about a VER necessity for Austria
Maybe NOR PIA is better? But are we confident McLaren will be the second fastest car on track. Mercedes look half decent and Ferrari will bounce back. I’m not sure yet if I want the headache of rotating my Ferrari McLaren or Mercedes assets week to week 😂 so maybe I just go with VER TSU for now 🤷🏻♂️
Currently at 120.9M and could go:
FER
MCL
NOR
LEC/HAM/PIA
HUL
GAS
SAR
What do you think? Is it worth to run Sargeant in this case?
Looks really good. Spain has a low DNF rate so if there was ever a time to risk Sargeant, Spain is probably it
What are your thoughts on Danny Ric for this weekend? I’m debating on throwing in either Gasly or DR in my final slot. They are similar in price. VCARB announced that they are bringing in a significant upgrade for the Spanish GP.
My hold back for DR is he’s still somewhat inconsistent, and if he qualifies well then there is a good chance he will drop positions causing negative points.
Inconsistency is my biggest gripe with Ricciardo. Unless you can’t stretch an extra 0.2 to get to Tsunoda, then I think I prefer Gasly. But all Ricciardo needs is another half decent quali and he could be on for a solid haul of points.
@@f1fantasyhub fair point. For reference, I’m going into Spanish Grand Prix with the following: VER-HUL-MAG-TSU-OCO, MCL-MER
Looking at switching out OCO with GAS or RIC, and MER to FER. Budget 117.2, global ranking 5,762
@@f1fantasyhubyou're a bad Australian, but I unfortunately agree. Really like Gasly to beat expectations for the next little while ($$$)
@@rmagoffinhahah I’ll wear that prediction like a crown Rick 😂😂
What do you think about Sainz? Lower price and consider it’s his home race.
I think there are a few slightly better options out there at a similar price (before we see how Ferrari look in practice)
I’m thinking about taking a -10 point penalty to get Tsunoda instead of Gasly, thoughts on that?
If you think Tsunoda outscores Gasly by more than 10 points to offset that, then go for it
@@f1fantasyhub going off by his history on this track, I remember Tsunoda had a crash with Magnussen during 2023 or 2022, I think it’s better to probably leave it.
