i think it's bullcrap that the driver gets penalised for the team messing up the rear wing DRS. fair enough that the constructor gets a -15 but why the driver as well?!? the negative points 'awarded' to a driver in such cases - when it's nothing to do with them - really need addressed next year. yes, you guessed it, i was lucky enough to be able to afford HUL over SAR. raging. 😆
Not wrong Glenn, I do think the DNF and DSQ penalties need to be scaled down to half of what they are currently. It's absolutely brutal when it happens, and in many situations not even the driver is at fault (i.e., Perez in Monaco, Sargeant in Miami)
Thoughts on Mclaren Ferrari Leclerc Sainz Tsunoda Hulk Saergent budget 117.6m (got a -35 from hulk but almost everyone had them so didn’t affect that much)
Just pulled over 200 points clear in my friends fantasy league! Had hulk in my team, but my closest rival had both Haas drivers AND the constructor! He scored -59 points 😬
I like the idea of having cover for Redbull, but Checo’s form concerns me. My Canada team will be your Monaco one as long as practice doesn’t spring a surprise. Piastri looks super quick.

I compare Haas owners to the dinosaurs right before the meteor hit 65 million years ago.... just a really bad day 😉 I'm gonna keep LEC PIA FER MCL. Canada is a pretty high-speed track, so I definitely expect Max to rebound here. Ferrari typically have good straight line speed, so I think it will be close. But I am sure Max is going to be unstoppable after being well off the pace in Monaco!
I didn't think this was possible but one poor soul in my private league suffered a score of -84 by holding both HAAS drivers and the constructor with a low scoring Max as the 2X and Red Bull as the other constructor. Must have been quite a shock. I managed offsetting my HAAS drivers with Charles pulling through.
I had LEC - TSU - MAG - HUL - ZHO - RBR - FER for a very depressing 110 points and 2M in value gains. Dropped from 9.8k global to 16.8k. Another 3 DNFs and 2 DSQs to add to my trophy cabinet of 9 DNFs and 2 DSQs so far this season, pretty ridiculous 😂. Let's just push that aside 😬. With my small 112.3M budget, I'm wondering whether I should deploy the "emergency budget building parachute". I could use all 3 transfers to get LEC - SAI - HUL - ZHO - SAR - FER - MER and hope for some big 2-3M value gains. Otherwise, I could stick with what I've got more or less, LEC - TSU - MAG - GAS - HUL - RBR - FER and roll a transfer.
Both sound good to me. I think I'd want to see more performance from Mercedes before diving straight in. I think Red Bull will bounce back soon and Mercedes only did as well as they did in Monaco because Perez and Verstappen were nowhere to be seen!
@@f1fantasyhub I agree. My theory for the triple FER + MER build is that if FER are comfortably the favourites then MCL/RBR won't score as many points, and it will be worth dropping to MER. However, a LEC - FER - RBR/MCL build looks much more likely.

I almost got the same, i feel your pain. Just remember this all comes from outside the race. If it wasn't for wing, they wouldn't have both been at the back to crash. Whoever messed that up has alot to answer for.

1 of my teams had both haas drivers AND ocon (i was really debating between him and gasly for monaco).
Fortunately didn’t have any Haas or Red Bull assets. 250 points & $5.4m gain.

I didn't pull the wildcard which kinda regretted as only way to fit in Ferrari and Mclaren whilst getting a driver from both is Sainz and Piastri

I've seen a couple of -100 scores which seem to take the take for the worst ever score in a single weekend!
