This was announced that THE CONJURING: LAST RITES will be the last in the saga
Sad but it’s been a hell of a ride
@RaggedyPack It's only going to be the end of seeing Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The other entries in the universe will still go on. And who knows, a new director could come along and change that too. Also, the "Last Rites" has been dropped from the title, so it seems they're changing that part at least.
I will cry at the end of the movie. I will fucking cry... we fans need therapy before Last Rites...
They say that the Jurassic world was supposed to of ended with dominion yet there making another for release in 2025 so I don’t listen they’ll probably make another in few years time they’ll change there minds later in wait and see there to popular make to much money
There will be more spinoffs, probably the main entity from The Conjuring 4 will get a movie. In addition to a series about them, it is approved and being developed by Max
Tony Spera is Judy Warren's husband (Ed and Lorraines Daughter, the star of this movie), and he runs the Warren Occult Museum that is still operated out of Ed and Lorraine Warren's home. Tony is in charge of Annabelle. He decides when she leaves the museum. He HAS allowed her to go places before. One of which was to Zak Bagans Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. Zak did a few Ghost Adventures and Cursed Objects episodes on Annabelle, and as a result, she had a short stay on display at his Museum while they were filming, so guests got to get up close and personal with the real Annabelle. No touching, she was kept behind glass and at times, Tony held her in his arms. ANY TIME Tony handles Annabelle, he does so using the same leather gloves one uses to train birds of prey such as hawks, to protect their skin from their talons. He often also has kitchen gloves underneath as a double layer of protection. Ed and Lorraine entrusted Annabelle and the rest of the Museum artifacts to Tony and their daughter Judy when they died. In fact, one of the displays in Zak Bagans Haunted Museum is called "The Devils Rocking Chair", and is the same rocking chair from the story of The Conjuring 3, The Devil Made Me Do It, about the true story of David Glatzel, an 8 year old boy who was possessed, and his sister Debbie's boyfriend, Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who took the demon into himself to save young David, and as a result of the ensuing possession, killed his and Debbie's landlord/boss, all of which is featured in that film. But the crazy thing is that just mere HOURS after Lorraine sold the chair to Zak Bagans, she died.
Rest in Peace, Ed and Lorraine Warren, and thank you ENDLESSLY for the work you devoted your life to, and for all those you helped along the way❤
Edit: I should mention it's very fitting they first sit Annabelle in a rocking chair, as an old legend says that having an empty rocking chair leaves an invitation for spirits to inhabit the "extra" chair. To avoid this, place a doll, large pillow or a Bible seated in the chair at all times it's not in use. Empty cribs should also be treated the same way.
I understand that grief can make you do things but I'm sorry, Daniela just freaking sucks lol. Invites herself into someone's home that she doesn't know, breaks into the one room that no one should ever be in, touches everything with no regards for anything, and doesn't say shit until shit hits the fan.
I never understood Danielle's logic in wanting to contact her father by going into a room with evil spirits, like why would he be there? Doesn't it make more sense to just seek out a medium?

@@philbobaggins9605 To begin with, Daniela and Mary did not know that they were Demonologists, they were supposed to be spiritualists or Mediums, which was what hurt saying that they dealt with ghosts or spirits, so when they saw the video of the exorcism it was something very uncomfortable for the three who did not know react like this. Yes, what he did was very clumsy, but he also didn't know the magnitude of what he was getting into. Like many teenagers, when you tell them not to do something and they still do what they want, it seems like a pretty realistic concept of what a teenager who wants to pursue would do. answers to how to place in despair, another psychologically, guilt is a very big feeling, especially when you have a person that you care about a lot with their life in your hands and you are the cause of their loss, but if you had to do it, take care of them your mother, father or brother and he died under your responsibility and only you survived, I don't think you will come out with a conscience completely free of guilt. Just like an adult, it is more manageable than a person under 18 with a mind that has not yet fully developed.
Fun fact, Anthony Rios (Tony) ends up being Judy's husband in real life

I have some things to say...
Annabelle only elevated my fear of dolls.
Can anyone let me know if they are also scared of dolls or am I a big baby lol.
Ever since I watched Conjuring, the real big scare was Annabelle at the beginning. No wonder they made a whole dam series on this piece of nightmare.
What's creepier you may ask. Annabelle is based on a true story of this Raggedy Ann doll.
Madison Iseman who plays Mary Ellen also appeared in Goosebumps 2 Haunted Halloween with Jeremy Ray Taylor(who played Ben in IT), and she also played in Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle.
Lastly a great reaction like always gents!

Regarding annabelle being a conduit is supported when batsheba got a hold of lorraines necklace in conjuring 1, her target was judy and got through appearing with annabelle in the chair before ed and lorraine saved judy. Meanwhile valak is the type to use whatever you fear. In conjuring 2, the little boy fears connects to the crooked man, the family fears the old man, lorraine fears ed dying so thats what valak uses. In the nun, the priest was haunted by the boy he couldn't save, sister irene didn't take her vows yet, frenchie haunted by the body he found.

Yes! My favorite Annabelle! I am a character person so whenever the warrens show up I'm very excited! Can't wait for your reactions to the nun & especially the nun 2! Which is my favorite of the nun movies. The same director for this movie directed both of the nun movies. Then I'm so so excited for the Conjuring 3! My favorite one! Some people say it's not as scary but i was hiding behind my hands lol. It is much more of a story than the other conjuring's but I reallyyy enjoyed it! Thanks for the reaction!

Yes this came after the events of the first Annabelle and the second Annabelle is suppose to be a prequel to the first Annabelle movie. The start of the first Annabelle shows who ended up with Annabelle after the event from the first movie happened and this Annabelle picks up from that very first scene in Annabelle 1.
I think that THIS would actually be a good choice of a scary movie for someone to watch who is “scittish” (afraid of watching scary movies) - I’m going to recommend it to my niece - because it was basically a “ghost-ey” version of Night At The Museum.😄
I think Fr. Michael Morrissey is watching over Judy bc he knows what's going on. He worked at her school after all, she may have known him. That, or maybe he realizes she can see him, and he has a message. Happens to me sometimes.
Have you folks watched the Conjuring 3 yet?.. also it would be excellent! if you could make the next horror movie on your list be "The Babadook"!. This movie is genuinely terrifying to the point of shattering your nerves! because it seems so real!. This is no exaggeration!. Cheers!.✌️❤️!

about the intro: people LOVE to bandwagon on (horror) movies.. some moments of The Nun were semi-corny, towards the end, but the movie on a whole was a good horror movie. even when it was semi-corny. ALL of the movies in the Conjuring universe are/have semi-corny moments.

This is exactly what I said! I personally would prefer if it was directed by Japanese directors who made iconic Japanese horror films instead of the same Western directors that we're used to seeing in the horror genre.

@@sadtitties222Maybe a Japanese director with a film crew made up of people they've worked with before on previous films, people they know and trust will make a great film plus people who've worked on the Conjuring films before and might know a bit more about American audiences.
this movie is just ok, a lot of things could had been exploited instead of being a bunch of random demons scaring the characters at times, becuase having a lot of possesed stuffs and to just show their lore by mentions, feels like a waste of potential, but otherwise is a fun movie like you guys said

I recommend you to skip the film THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA as it is no longer part of this universe, and it is also not worth it
in my opinion this is the worst movie in the conjuring universe💔 U can clearly see that it wasn't directed by James Wan. YES the camera work and all that IS good but they made a classic boring horror movie out of such a mysterious and scary Story that usually gave u goosebumps like in the other movies. The actions and behavior of the girls were completely stupid and unlogical. It was kinda annoying to watch. I felt like they just included jumpscare after jumpscare, dumb characters and that is IT. It's kind of a shame to the other movies cuz the Conjuring Universe are literally my favorite movies EVER🔥 I also would have loved it if they didn't change the actress of Judy. The other movies are the perfect example to show that u don't have to put jumpscares every 2 seconds to give the watcher chills down their spine. Thats how u create an actual horror movie, a masterpiece. Hope James Wan will take the WHOLE lead for Conjuring 4. Hope he'll be the director 😭😭
To be fair, most of the movies in the Conjuring universe aren’t directed by James Wan anyways, only the first two Conjuring movies are, the rest all have different directors. And recasting Judy likely was due to them finding a more experienced actress to play a more leading role, this happens often with child actors.
I enjoyed this movie but really dislike the other two Annabelle movies. I also disliked the Nun movies...they were awful.
