**Pattern Notes**
If you have tight tension or want to start with a larger foundation:
Use a size 6.50 mm hook (US K or 10.5) and CH 72. Join to make a ring.
R1: (ch 3, 2 dc) in the same ch, dc into the next 17 chs, *(3 dc into the next ch), dc into the next 17 chs*. Repeat for Row 1. Continue with the tutorial for Row 2 and beyond :)

I finally got enough yarn off my color choices for this & I'd love to start crocheting the white striped one, but am not sure if after I chain up the 56 chains, should I slip stitch & end it there for the one white stripe at the very top before continuing? If that's so, do I then slip, ch 3 & proceed like instructions say? Thank you, Jayda 🥰

Awesome video! So very easy to follow, thank you. Working this pattern but with a lighter, thinner yarn, I chained 88 and did the corners in every 22nd stitch. The poncho finished beautifully.
