  • This is an even more rushed review than I usually do and it's because it's the third time we're talking about the same chipset and I'm tired of talking about it tbh.
Also there is a minor correction in that I thought the tutorial I was referencing was from Retro Game Corps, but it's from DroiX. I was confused because this guide was retweeted by RGC on Twitter and for some reason in the moment I thought it was an RGC guide.
Finally, in adding the Play Store or making any alteration to your device, please do so at your own risk and only if you know what you are doing.

And somebody who hasn't really messed with emulation in a long time these are really appeal recently I picked up two of them 35xx and 353m they're relatively cheap as somebody who's been out of the game for a while these are really nice but I don't need to buy an upgraded version until it can do something like you said like PS2 or original Xbox I travel a lot for work they're very small and lightweight I really like my switch but it's big sometimes the last-minute trip these are really nice to put in my pocket and go the r35xx I literally just picked up to play Pokemon having something strictly dedicated to all the older games for a cheap price is really nice and for those ones I don't need the joysticks I'm glad that I didn't pick him up say a year or two ago and that I was brought back into it now because I think these are perfect for what I was looking for

I love mine it’s replaced my 353v and I put jelos on it and a 1tb card and it would be perfect if it they had added Bluetooth support to jelos so when using hdmi out it’s I don’t need to be right next to the tv literally all Im missing

That would be great to be able to consolize it with a controller like that.

It does have Bluetooth support. Not only can you play with a controller. You can play multi player using the handheld and the controller!

@@RocketLeagueSworst the original software has that option but JELOS and other 3rd party OS does not it’s too large and complicated for “just enough Linux” And if the original software was better everyone would still be using that instead

@Pimpin Ken I see! That kinda sucks but im sure the devs will add it soon enough. Hopefully

@@RocketLeagueSworst that’s a negative. last month they closed the update options and moved on to other projects it’s as currently as good as it’s going to get.🥺 maybe Ambernic will work on their own software to the point no one will need a third-party replacement but that would them cost more and that’s not how they run there Business🤷‍♂️

I really want to pick up the rg353p i with they made a non adriod version

Yeah, it's kind of strange how the 353V got the VS as a cheaper non-Android version, but they didn't do the same thing with this one. I guess you could just never use the Android side and ignore it if you want, but that doesn't help the price at all.

1:12 - Spoken from someone who hasn't went through 2 sets of joycons becoming useless in the space of a year? lol

You had 2 sets of joycons go bad? I'm still on my original set from 2017 and I don't know what I'm doing differently, but I've barely experienced any drift yet knock on wood. Maybe I just jinxed myself.

Burn-out: I had the same feeling ... until I got my Analogue Pocket just recently and experienced the raw no-nonsense simplicity of FPGA :)
Very few cores have savestates, though, but there's no D-pad or button latency whatsoever (AND no audio latency!). Feels very "true" and convincing. If it comes in a landscape format I'm buying another one :)
The Linux retroarch experience is great - Android sort of sucks on many levels (unless you're into Android gaming) but FPGA is even better than Linux for me (apart from the mostly missing savestates).

I'm probably going to do one more Pocket update just because so much has happened after I made the last one. The Open FPGA update really opened it up a lot and there's so much more to the device now, and it's truly amazing.
