Finding work is really hard these days, but you can do it! You will find an employer who values you eventually. Please try not to get discouraged, I know how easy it is to feel bad about yourself and your prospects, but it's not good for your heart to focus on that-- focus instead on learning new skills online that you can bring to interviews/jobs, find an interview outfit you feel powerful and comfortable in, practice staying calm while speaking and make sure you keep your voice evenly paced. I'm an English learner and basically knew nothing about Excel. After watching this, I now know a little bit of it and I understand everything you say without problems. How amazing is this? Your tutorial is a masterpiece. To make a video like this, first you need a delicate design in order to include all the tips and tricks and put them in a logical order, and second you need to explain them in clear and accurate words and third you need to know how to record the screen and edit it. Very likely there were even more work done behind the scene. Thank you very much because I do benefit from it a lot.

I was an Excel virgin up until an hour ago, I had to create a form with a table so I headed to Excel, it was all gobbledygook to me, Excel had always been a mystery so I used to use Word and tables etc, this is so much easier and no longer a mystery. I searched and saw your video tutorial, great teaching method and now I have the basics, my form is ready and finished, I even created a template from it to fill in anytime. I have been just messing around and because of your teaching I wasn't bothered about messing anything up.

Your videos have been extremely helpful. When I was in school (K-12), we were taught how to use Word and used in constantly for assignments. I vaguely remember we were taught a bit of Excel in elementary or middle school, and that was it. We never used it for school assignments, and were never made to put it into practice the way we did with Word. You're definitely helping to fill a large knowledge gap that many of us have, and it's very much appreciated.

My family has been patronizing and chastising me for YEARS about how I don't know how to use Excel. It has been 25 years, since I last had a keyboarding class (It was a middle school requirement). For all my classes from middle school to college, I used Microsoft Word because I had no reason to use Excel.
Almost every clerical job expects people to know how to use Excel, which has always been intimidating for me. Here's the kicker. I learned how to create my own website using a website builder by watching a RUclips tutorial 7 years ago, and it's mostly drag and drop features that I use.
After watching this informative RUclips tutorial that you made, I realized that most of what you have done is drag and drop. I no longer feel insecure, intimidated, and unconfident in using Excel. With that being said, thank you so much for creating this tutorial! You managed to help me overcome my fear of using Microsoft Excel, after 25 years! Now, I can apply for clerical jobs that require the use of it.

Providing basic terminology and very clear directions / examples at the very beginning, and a quick recap before going on - Ahhhhh - a real teacher. Thank you. I will share with my international students. Some of them are whizzes at Excel in their own language, but watching and learning from you is going to be extremely valuable. And, they'll be able to "make friends" in English.
And a comment to those who are binge-learning to get/keep a job....Good for you. You've come to the right place. All the best.

I have now produced new templates for my Sales & Purchase sheets. All with correct formulas and neat layouts. Many thanks for good presentation & delivery. I learnt excel back in the late 80s when it first came out and then promptly forgot how to use it - this is an excellent refresher as well as beginner's guide - one comment on your explanation of correcting typos at the approx 13:45 point, "being in a cell - being on a cell" - using a mouse you don't need to double click, you can just click once in the ordinary manner and make the change without losing data / without having to retype all of the words - thank you for your clear and concise tuition.
