I walk right out if bj's with the big cart.. walk it a few blocks then take my groceries out with th . Bags on them and walk the rest of the way home.. it sure does help
That's funny. Bags in LA are 15 cents but people usually just pay or bring their own bags. They just ask you how many bags you want and most people don't even bat an eye. You can also just push a shopping cart to the car and put everything loose. You don't always need a bad
@@toxic._.skullzanimations2232 that’s $.24(US) for a bag. crazy. i wouldn’t pay it. in these times we live in, it’s just more cost effective to buy a $1-$5 reusable bag ….and keep your “bag” no matter how small. /Bklyn👑
I just saw a picture of these two people at night, one in the cart, and one driving. And that made me think. I wanna steal a shopping cart with my bsf just to say we did and for the memories/thrill. Technically, if you find a shopping cart in a random location, it can be considered abandoned property. Take any identifiers off of it and who'll be the wiser?
I used to cart my groceries home all the time. I wasn't stealing the cart I was using it. They hire guys to go around with trucks to pick them up. So I"m creating jobs. Many people just leave the quarter as a tip for the guy that goes around and gathers them but little do they know that they are not allowed to keep it in some of the stores they work at. Some stores supply special token to unlock them to avoid that issue as well as to keep people from wanting to take them.
one winter there was a huge pile of snow in the parking lot of our local mall. so we took our cart and hauled it to the top of the pile in broad daylight. at the time i thought it was pretty awesome
Ok story time! Me and my bsf took an abandoned shopping cart that we had been seeing for about 2 weeks on the tarmac of a school, and we took it. It was so much fun for about 15 minutes until this bitter old guy started yelling at us. We were being respectful and trying to explain but when we told him we had found it he would just say 'no you didnt you stole it' and then just walked away after we finally got paralyzed from fear. I kid you not 2 weeks that had been on that tarmac. We had also walked past 20 other people or so and they didnt say anything. I'd like to go back and find him and show him this video

I’ve heard that a number of stores in California charge 75 cents for a shopping cart. When you return it you get your 75 cents back. Of course the carts are secured by lock. Many homeless people will stand outside of stores and ask shoppers if they can return their carts for them. That seems like a good way to reduce the number of abandoned carts all over. In fact, if a store enacted that policy they might start getting a lot of long lost carts back

Someone asked me where the carts were at Dollar Tree and if I worked there. Um, no I wear a red shirt, have never worked there and couldn't care less where the carts are. Our town is littered with stolen carts and bike parts.
Exactly!! Last week, I walked to save a lot that’s up the street from my house and I was buying pans and stuff for thanksgiving. Save a lot didn’t have the bigger pans. So I walked to family dollar which was two to three blocks down from save a lot. After I came back from family dollar, I went back to save alot to get some other items that I forgot. When I got done paying for my things. And I was about to walk out the store. I notice that the one of my bags from family dollar had holes in it. I didn’t asked for extra bags, because the hole wasn’t bad so I tried to make things work. When I started walking.. the family dollar bag broke. I went back to save a lot and I was going to borrow their cart so I could put my things in the cart. I had a-lot of stuff in my hands and I had wine and I didn’t want it to break. The store security guard stopped me and he was very rude. He was like what are you doing with that cart I can’t let you take the cart. I was very calm about the situation. And I politely told the store security guard that I don’t have a car. My bags has holes in them.. I was going to borrow the cart so I can drop my things off at home and I was going to bring it back. The store security guard just kept saying I can’t let you do that. Can you please put the cart back. I didn’t argue, I was trying to fix my bags so it wouldn’t break anymore. I was very upset because I don’t have a car and it was starting to get cold outside and I literally walked to two places and I was trying to get back home. the store security went inside the store and gave me a lot of bags. I said nicely no thank you bc I was calling z trip to get a ride but I didn’t have any service. So I walked home as fast as I could. And I did make it? I thank God that I didn’t go to jail. But let me tell you what the same security guard did: I told my friends the situation and my friend gave me a ride to the store.. me and my friend were getting more stuff for thanksgiving, and we literally walked in the store. The store security guard started following us around. And it was making me and my friend very uncomfortable.. it was a cart that a customer left to the side they didn’t want to the cart. I took the cart bc me and my friend were getting extra items. When I was about to leave. I noticed that the store security guard had went back to his spot where he was. And I took my things out the cart and I left. He was looking out the window from the store and he saw that my friend gave me a ride. My friend said to me why didn’t I asked for help and I told her that the store security was making me feel uncomfortable and he was being weird. I went back to save a lot today bc I ran out other things.. and the same store security guard wasn’t there, I feel he heard what I said the other day.
