I just got this game, i really dont have the patience to build my own entirely original aircraft, im probably just going to modify the psuedo f4 thats ingame
Drag is proportional to surface area and scales with v^2 . Thats why more/powerfull engines on draggy plane only make you burn more fuel and do not give you much more top speed. At mach 1 the friction of air is similar to driving a car through a raisin cake

Could you do a tutorial on how to make piston engines that actually work? Along with propellers that are efficient. Built a mustang looking aircraft in Flyout the other day, went about half the speed of the mustang.

Sprocket isn't the most similar to be honest, but it certainly helps

You could build something like the super tucano which is just a super crop duster with military weapons
Or or the warden which is literally a crop duster with bombs and guns

Would work as a colonial low maintenance anti insurgency/light cas, like if you're the UK France or another colonial power and you needed a ground attack plane that is low cost and probably won't see fighters since its fighting indigenous people's.
