As a pilot and certified US Aircraft Mechanic, It looks to me that the difference between the wing length is having a negative effect when in ground effect, longer left wing, more lift, right roll, I'd add some roll trim before applying power for take-off and slowly take the roll trim out once more then 1.5x the wingspan above the ground, the typical place where ground effect is strongest. Normally you would use Right rudder input to counter the P-factor and torque of the propeller on take-off as most propeller driven aircraft turn to the right as viewed from pilot's seat causing a left turning tendency. This effect is felt at high angles of attack( climbing out ) at high power settings ( Take-Off power ). Also, when landing a tail-dragger ( Conventional gear) you really don't flair the landing as you want to land on the main gear first.
This looks like the Brazilian Embraer Super Tucano.
so there is a thing called "tip-stall", where the wing tip stalls before the root of the wing causing a loss of lift on the outwer wing (and usually a spin); BUT this is a problem for swept wings, in short sweeping back the wing makes it so the tip reaches the critical AoA before the root casuing the tip-stall. Why does a similar effect happen on a straight wing like yours I have no idea, I had it happen to me as well and I think its a bug. Anyway in case we are talking about tip-stall, a way to fix it is to twist the wing tip slightly downward (using the "tip twist" slider), there is also an other method, which is to sweep the wings foreward (like on the Su-47 and X-29), but the this might cause some instability
It's ground effect when the wing is near the ground it creates a fusion of air underneath. Since left wing is longer and has more area it produces more lift in ground effect.
@@nextgencreations8124 I've had a similar thing happen to me while I was flying a plane with equal span wings so the ground effect in that case would have the same intensity on both wings, yet I still had only one wing suddenly drop;
also ground effect wouldn't cause a wing to "drop", even with wings of different span there would still be an increase of lift on both (of different intensity ofc), thus causing an upward motion or floating, you could have one wing go up more than the other or at least one goes up and the other stays pretty much where it was, but not go down, while here u can clearly see the wing "drop" suggesting an actual loss of lift, aka a stall
@@nextgencreations8124The ground effect should stabilise the plane instead of flipping it, I've got the same issue on a similar plane, I've tried wing twist and even a 'notched' wing with a section with less AOA on the tip to make stalls roll the plane less, but still very unstable close to ground...
This plane remember me the aircraft A-29 Super Tucano.
New Year, New Suggestion. (1)
What if the F-117 had remained in service and continued to receive upgrades... Or more specifiaclly, what would an F/A-117C Look like.
Throughout the 90's various upgrades were proposed for the, now legendary, F-117A 'Night Hawk', including redesigns for the tail, cockpit and wings, as well as the potential inclusion of after-burning engines.
While neither the F-117N or B variants were pursued due to the upcoming Advanced Tactical Fighter and Joint Strike Fighter programs, that would result in the 'Raptor' and 'Lightning II' respectively, I do think many of the unofficial depictions of F-117B or A/F-117x possess an odd, retro-futuristic charm.
I do sometimes wonder if you add stronger engines and a longer wing, you could use that unstable aerodynamics and have it maneuver pretty well.
Happy new year patch. Ive been a subscriber since 100 subscribers. It feels like its only been a minute since that moment
Hey patchbits you can build your own missles by putting fuselage piieces over the missles and you can add your own extra thrust by putting engines in the tube and make sure to puts its own fuel source so you can fire from longer hope this helps>
You should build a large passenger aircraft using UDFs!
fr
Hey buddy, looking forward to the new year amd the new vids ❤
Happy new Years Patch, looking forward to more Flyout, the Sprocket Internals and You, having Fun :D
14:19 SAMs typically use radar, so flares won't help. Try approaching low, using the terrain.
10:55 maybe ground effect?
Something I recommend when it comes to balancing the center of mass on planes, is to use the Swing joint. You can modify its mass and it makes a perfect ballast as opposed to fuel, which will disappear as you fly and change your flight characteristics. 👍 P.S. you can press f1 to switch your camera to your missile when you fire it
For the algorithm!!!
P.S. It’s great that it did so well, but how did that short get 1 mil views?
No idea!
I actually quite like this one!
My most recent plane has been having that problem to a large degree too
This plane reminds me of the AT-6E wolverine.
Happy new years man.
To get rid of that wingtip stall put in a dogtooth or a wing fence in the middle of the wing.
Happy new year to you as well!
Wyvern and Stuka put together and modernized
Nice plane happy new year
My guess of the reason for the right roll when taking off is that because the left wing is longer than the right wing it generates extra lift when ground effect is working on it thus causing asymmetric lift, that would also explain why it only happens near the ground. Some people have mentioned tip stall but as far as I know this only happens on swept wings.
This is the best plane build i ever seen
I love the Flyout content and there isn't a lot of it out there so more Flyout!
looks nice
I've hit a tank from 25 km with the AGM before, but i was above mach and at 10 km. The furthest subsonic hit I've gotten was 18 km, while at Mach 0.6 and 6 km up.
Happy new year! This reminds me of the plane from Come Outside. Heeyyy you should make that 👀👀👀
Happy New Year!
You just got a new sub
Hey Patch, just to let you know the reason why some turboprops have their exhaust so far forward of the engine is because the jet itself is actually placed backwards within the aircraft, although I understand that it cant be done in game as the exhaust thrust would counter the prop i do hope the dev adds some way of moving the thrust with a buildable pipe
RUclips!! This video is great!
You should totally definitely make a Hermeus Quarterhorse
I've been noticing those tip stalls too.
Only in ground effect.
Tried many different wing configs, all have the issue to the extreme.
Best way to avoid it is to really gently take off.
I always thought the ground effect would stabilize planes but apparently not :P
Happy new year 🎉
Super Tucano is my favorite plane 👌
Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
There should be a water spawn because it would be cool if people can make PARWIG Aircraft/Boat or better known as Ekranoplan
I have read about such problems with stalling near the ground. It was manly on Swept wings wich are exellent for highspeed but there is a thing that can happen at low speed that you can stall because of the Wingtips not getting enough lift. Maybe it has something to do with that idk
This game needs a weapon camera, so you can watch them up closr.
Happy new year
Happy new year 🎆
Maybe add some dihedral to the wingtios?
10:33 I think the problem is wend the propeller wend is inclined of the plane moviment the blade on bottom have more pitch angle, and the up blade have last angle, and the plane spin, the a 29 have a landing guier on the front for have last effect because the powerful 5 blades
Sprocket x flyout collab when
Make a taxi-ing plane in sprocket, could be really funny!
btw i've had the same problem with the roll at higher aoa's. i don't really know why its happens but it happens for every craft, i think its a bug in the game itself, also it only happens at aoa's above 19
Ele fez o tucaninho kkkkkkk
Build a foreward swept wing fighter please!
Build a sea vixen!
❤️
Its my first episode of the flyout :D
yippeee
Tucano?
I’m wondering if you could make a oblique wing in this game
Does someone know if Flout will be playable on an iMac in the near future?
just discovered your channel and it's the mix of two thinigs i like: furries and engineering. wait, are you even a furry? well, regardless of that, I still like your videos
This looks like a good cheap COIN aircraft. I somehow vision this thing at Kabul after the Taliban took over lol
You should used the vertical stabilizer to counter the torque
It more stable this way
thats not very good because as you approach higher speeds the air over the vetical stablizer will start yawing the aircraft what he should do instead is tilt the engine 2/3s of a degree away from the yaw
@@user-sf4io3tp8l not the whole thing just small part of the rudder is enough
still same thing @@Takashikuubo
@@user-sf4io3tp8l yeah just make it adjustable tilting the engine also has it's limits too you need a combination of both
Hi guys can this game export file to STL for 3d Printing ? Would be nice if you can design a plane and 3D printed out
green

anyone can help me i cant play after click start to airfield ?
Game looks awesome but I can't play, screen goes black every time I try to load an aircraft.
P-factor combined with a couple other effects at low speed might explain your un-commanded roll.
It is explained pretty well by this TBM video which is a very similar aircraft to this yours, I believe your prop spins in the opposite direction to the TBM.

Hope this helps. Great video
Vai Brazil, numero
yummer?
new year same me, still autistic as ever and still a threat
Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
