I saw the test drive version outside that showroom a few weeks ago. I love coupe's and I love SUV's, this is a dream come true for me. Hopefully will be placing an order at the weekend.
Awesome & Terrific review Tish! The Renault Arkana looked absolutely stunning and ultra classy! One of my favourite SUV's so far! The interior and exterior was just amazing! I noticed it was a left hand drive as soon as you panned the camera towards the front of it! Keep up the great hard work! Already looking forward to the next episode dropping! 🙌🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Had a test drive of the RS E-Tech version today, and ordered one in Met. Black with a sunroof. Found it easy to drive and fast enough for an old man like me. I notice quite a few subtle differences in the UK spec compared to the LHD in the video, but the deal was too good to miss, 0% on a PCP and a great price for my trade-in !! Roll-on November.
Awesome video and you’re a great presenter, I’ve seen images of the Arkana but your video is the first video I’ve seen, and I’m actually really impressed. The boot was the biggest surprise being over 500 litres is what I’m looking for, which is massive compared to the Citroen C4, and the coupe design just looks much better than the standard SUV design like the Kadjar for example. New Subscriber and I’ve smashed the like button👍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I loved the new C4 but you’re right, Renault really one upped them with the boot capacity! However I do still think spec on the C4 is slightly better. Either way, I am liking these new Coupes!
I really like Renault's designs in general. My only uncertainty about the Arkana is the rear profile when viewed side-on. Overall, though, it's a great looking car.
Renaults designs are really nice at the moment, I really like the interior, but my only downside is the portrait screen, I'm not keen on that placement, I prefer the landscape imo. An awesome opportunity for you Tish. Great job 👏
@@AutoSocialUK Like the Megane, the standard screen will probably be smaller and landscape. However, the portrait screens can literally display the top half as your landscape and have something else on the bottom, so you could have nav on top and music player on bottom. Even more importantly, maps are much better displayed in tall and narrow mode vs short and wide, after all the road you are driving on is always displayed vertically in the sat nav, not horizontally, so it’s better to see more of where you are headed, not so much to the sides.
Great video! Super cool that you had the opportunity to help launch this car! Not a bad looking car, decent interior, and - idk if it’s just me, but the headrests look like Volvo headrests.
This might be different but I doubth it. Renault are Dent and scratch magnets. The panels are so light the slightest accidental bump or touch will Dent it. The paint work seems to be very soft and scratches easily.
Very nice car! I wouldn't say it has a "unique design" from the exterior though. The interior is very impressive, Iove the large screen and seat belt. Would have loved to see weather the boot closed with a button or manual closing.
That car since its been introduced on Instagram it looks like the shape of a BMW X6 SUV and the German brother the Mercedes SUV too it looks nice for a French car it has to be a full electric car great behind the scenes video
Don’t know why it was so secret, it’s available to order now and has been out in Europe well over a year now. I can’t order one as none are available to test drive and no way I would order a car without driving it first. Top spec does not come with electric seats at all, they are an expensive add on. In Europe the seats come as standard and so does the sunroof.
The RS Line model (top spec) does come with full electric seats as standard, test drove the 1.3 mild hybrid and then the 1.6 hybrid and confirmed this as have now ordered one. And in some Countries its not the Arkana (something to do with a bad man with a similar name?). It's the Renault Megane Conquest. Just a bit of useless background there 😀
No there are quite a few differences to the Kadjar 😊 As a small RUclipsr I created this video a few months back before it was available to the press. Unfortunately I am not on Renaults press list yet.
Great video, I took one for a test drive today. It was sluggish considering the look is sporty. The auto gearbox was noisy/clunky going from D to B. Headroom in the rear was very low and such a shame. Really limits it as a car to take the kids out for day trips. The lower models have noticeable drop in quality and options. Which makes the car feel cheap and plasticky inside. Overall first impressions were excellent for visuals and concept. Think for me personally the lack of oomph and torque will be a deciding factor and the feeling of being crammed inside it. The Kadjar feels so much more spacious than the Arkana.
Hey guys - i’m actually currently at a festival for the weekend so will reply to comments when I’m home! Thank you for all of your continued support!
All right.

Wonderful news! I am hopefully going to test drive soon!
Keep on doing the excellent car reviews I really like the new Renault arkana

Thank you so much! They have done a great job with the Akarna! 👏🏼

Ahhhh see, I quite like that!
Great overview we are hoping to be booked in for a test drive soon for one of these
My sister’s just got a new Clío, but I was looking at this from across the room when she was filling out the paper work. Looks like the Batmobile 😂
Really cool car - you did well filming this so early!
Thank you for watching!
The Arkana is based on the Captur. But unlike the Captur (which is produced in Spain), the Arkana will be produced in South Korea.
Renaults designs are really nice at the moment, I really like the interior, but my only downside is the portrait screen, I'm not keen on that placement, I prefer the landscape imo.
An awesome opportunity for you Tish. Great job 👏
I completely agree with you! I would even prefer a smaller landscape screen. Portrait can look tacky!
@@AutoSocialUK it would look better like that i think, thats one big thing I don't like about the mach e, the massive portrait screen.

Great car waiting for India Launch
Although pure vision headlights and auto climate controls are similar to Kiger
Nice video love from India
Thank you for watching!
Your style is looking more posh these days Tish, great look!
This was for a formal presentation :)
Metallic details on the dash, gear and pedals look so Sporty.
But the only thing about it is, no paddle shifters in the Arkana.
The R.S. line is very nicely styled!
Great video! Super cool that you had the opportunity to help launch this car! Not a bad looking car, decent interior, and - idk if it’s just me, but the headrests look like Volvo headrests.
Its a pretty slick design isn't it?
Normal l'interieur est fabriqué en normandie pour beaucoup de constructeurs ;;alemands et aussi volvo
L'entreprise est FAURECIA
Nice video, shame for Renault the dark paint doesn’t really show off the car’s design that well.
I agree!! The Orange is my fave!
Great video Tish. Nice car too
Thanks Robert!

Interesting, thank you for sharing your experience!

Manual 😞
I’ve just been to view one in Tamworth. They’re gorgeous cars! 😍
Love from Chennai 😍

I was just being careful not to upset Nissan :) Think its called something else in Europe?

Ordering the RS E ``tech this weekend..
Congratulations
Very impressed with the Renault Tish.....And presented in your inimitable style.!! 😀
Thank you for watching Francis!
I love the arknana not even 15 parents have a kadjar not buying a arkana but have being watching the updates since it first came out in Asia 😂
Yes it has taken it's time getting to the UK!
Sorry Tish prefer my C4 to be honest. My 1.2 155 gets 2 exhausts at the back as well no fake grills.
The car is already out in my country France, so you Can Do what you want :). Good video.
513 Litre vs 480 litre for hybrid.
Thank you very much for your comment
I hate the grey bumper, wish you could option it out.
Ohhhh them eyes definitely deserve a subscribe from me
it is a very big shame to don't have USB Type-C in 2021
You work extremely hard good luck to you ,best female reviewer on RUclips refreshing to get in-depth review , Thanks
Thank you so much
Why renault kept the old rear light from the koleos and didn't put the new 3d light but the car looks ok its like a affordable mercedes gle coupe
I love it👍
Isn't this just a coupe Kadjar? And it's been driven and reviewed on Vanarama already.
No there are quite a few differences to the Kadjar 😊 As a small RUclipsr I created this video a few months back before it was available to the press. Unfortunately I am not on Renaults press list yet.
@@AutoSocialUK Thanx for the reply :-)
Mi futuro coche 🥰
What are you doing in the up......thought you had sold it ?
I believe Tish / Тиш filmed this before she sold her up!.
Filmed in advance as the car wasn't released until recently
Wish they would do a new laguna.
Yes I am getting a little bored of the SUV trend. I would like to see more saloons
are you getting a new daily driver soon
I believe that was filmed before Tish got her Abarth.
I need to keep the Abarth long enough to balance out the mileage hahaha! Probably another couple of months!
Update: I’ve moved the Arkana into uncool.
Other than your pronunciation of Renault (Ren-oh not ren-olt) great video!
I think it’s part of being Dyslexic, I know it’s Ren-oh but I often struggle with things like that in my brain 🧠
@@AutoSocialUK ah, don't worry. I'm like that with words that should be easy to say.
Are you sure those are 'fake' exhaust pipes, and fake leather to the seats?
the exhaust pipes are fake if you look under the car you will see the real one but its not fake leather on the seats.
здавствуйте, а какая цена этого авто?
I read your channel name wrong, anti social uk, oops! great review though!
Thank you for watching.
If it isn’t a CVT I want one
The automatic will be a DCT (the 140hp 1.3 litre).
I was correct when I messaged you on Instagram 🤩🤩
Hahahaha yes you was!! It's been a while since then!
WHY IS IT NOT AVALIBALE IN AWD :(((
I would doubt there is any real need or demand for it in the UK unfortunately
Arkana is nicer than C4 ..
No head up display though
Help me to get PR of uk 🇬🇧 😝 review was osm

No automatic boot
Unfortunately not
With all respect Tish
the title is written Akarna instead of Arkana!
Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the heads up! I was rushing to get the video up whilst I was away! 😁 it’s changed now.
thats a big vehicle tish loads of space for shopping lol or take your mum for a drive love your new car reviews
Thank you for watching!
porsche cayenne vibes from the side anyone?
It is very sleek!!
Like a BMW x4
It really is!
Too much of "really nice" "nice" "really impressed".
"Realy nice" doesn't really describe interior
I want
Grey plastic trime outside is just terrible. Esp for a 25 grand plus car
gosh 'tailpipe' instead of exhaust pipe, and 'coupe' instead of coupé. ur british not american...
I’m dyslexic so it has more to do with that, I find it hard to differentiate between words when talking off cusp unfortunately
@@AutoSocialUK oh, sorry about that I did not realise.
@@cactus3796 that’s ok and I didn’t take any offence, I just can’t help what comes out of my mouth sometimes 😂😂😂
Car was launched over two years ago so no real surprises anymore .
Ooo
I do like it, but it a BMX x6 knock off, sorry,
I don't think that is a bad thing? If its a more affordable X6?
Car just French,American and german and not anything
And Japanese
Yet more fake exhaust tips 🤣
💔💔💔💔
Learn how to do it review., Don't talk about cosmetics, try to explain some specs.
