No spare wheel? I never buy a car without one. Too much stuff that puts the price up, and will all go wrong sometime. Screens are dangerous, as the driver will be tempted to use them while driving. They should be banned. They also look really naff. Many hybrids have been recalled for fire safety. Too much tech, it will be an expensive nightmare as a used car. Hybrids are a complete waste of time.
I would disagree hybrids are so sort after in the used car market with the stop on conventional fuels looming , Renault has over 7 years of history of electrified vehicles being on the road so bring a lot of reliability into the field.

Just coming up for years I’ve owned this car and i still love driving it, every day I take out even in our winters in Scotland it’s never failed, lovely car good braking good steering I’ve had loads of cars and this is one of the best.
Great review, i bought the RS line last week and after watching your video Im a little more wiser to some of the tech in it, wasnt sure what the B was on the gear stick..thanks
Great review, I test drove the Arkana sport 1.3 mild hybrid and was wondering what the B gear was for. I have ordered the rs line back in December and I'm being told from my Renault dealer that I should take delivery early April. I can't wait to have a drive on the motorway and try the lane assist ant auto cruise control.
Nice review, saw one of these at the show room when I ordered my new Clio rs line, looks very nice, trust drove the hybrid in the Clio and loved it, so would imagine will be just as nice in the arkana
@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 yes can’t wait, this will be my 5th clio, each one has been better than the one before, lots of toys to play with on this new one when it arrives,
Just ordered our new Arkana on a 2022 plate as it won't be ready until April due to build time. Test drove it at the showroom very nice car and the spec we purchased is the RS line so top spec.
When you exit the car, press and hold the lock button on your remote for about 5 seconds. A long beep will sound, indicating the internal alarm is cancelled.
Hi great review. Just wondering when you test drive did you get a loud noise from brakes only when fully engaging? I picked up my rs line e tech a couple of weeks ago and have this issue. Very noticeable
@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 yeah I understand that have driven automatics in the past. This is a completely different sound, comes from under the car when applying brakes fully and not to be confused with the electric parking brakes noise
@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 Thanks. So, if I've just started off on a hill and I have to stop again, will it re-engage? Or do I hold it on the foot brake and try again?
@@peterking2794 depends on the model some will have auto hold , this means when you press the foot brake it engages the handbrake and then when you need to you just accelerate away again. If you don’t have auto hold then you would either press the foot break and the hill start assist would hold you for 3 seconds to pull away or if it was another extended stop you would pull up the electric handbrake until ready to drive off again
Nope, sadly it’s a feature most hybrids don’t allow for , the battery has to go somewhere. And the trade seems to be trying to get away from spares as much as possible in a bid to cut emissions as most never use them.
@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 damn, my country has very bad roads but the local dealer didn't include spare tires :( The guys from Baltic countries are more lucky ruclips.net/video/78R_k5WJ5vk/видео.html
Renault has a new kadjar next year I believe so I very much doubt it , it has replaced the koleos in the line up and is made in the same factory’s in Korea

I have a 22 plate RS line in this colour...of 9 Renaults I've owned, this one is in a different class...astonishing car!
Thanks dude for actually showing and going in detail of the interior
Most of the reviewers just speedrun that part

A video on how auto park works would be good !
Very nice car what gear box is in the 1,6 hybrid
Great video, very informative…is it possible to isolate the internal alarm sensors for example when I want to leave the dog in the car etc? Thanks
Hi yes you are able to deactivate the alarm using the remote but as far as I’m aware you can’t turn say the rear sensors off leaving the front on .
When you exit the car, press and hold the lock button on your remote for about 5 seconds.

Hi great review. Just wondering when you test drive did you get a loud noise from brakes only when fully engaging? I picked up my rs line e tech a couple of weeks ago and have this issue. Very noticeable
You do get a loud Rev when fully accelerating as it jumps fully to the petrol engine and not the electric, nothing from brakes though.

@@ireland_by_air I would run past your Renault dealer to look at just to be safe as I haven’t heard of it before.
Could you should how to uses key in key card to open door please
I know nothing about 'electronic' handbrakes. How do they manage hill starts? Can it be eased off like a traditional one, or is it just on or off?
Hi , so with the Renault system you simply accelerate and when you hit the right revs the handbrake disengages and away you go.
@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 Thanks. So, if I've just started off on a hill and I have to stop again, will it re-engage? Or do I hold it on the foot brake and try again?

@@renaultdaciahowitsdone9514 there still is room for a spare tire even for hybrid. They include that option for countries with bad roads.
@@markmd9 ah really? The uk spec never allows for a spare with Renaults hybrids which is a shame

In the Netherlands it is on the options list, so it is possible. The boot is plenty big enough to have a space saver under the floor.
Ha ha ha the subtitles said "bollock release down here" instead of bonnet release
Hahahaha
Does the Arkans have BSM
When available in india
Sadly I don’t know the answer to that one
Is this weird looking thing a replacement for the Kadjar?

You can buy it separately
