Can you comment about the ACC system? In 2018, their systems could only be activated at or above 50km/h, so no assistance in traffic jams. This was a deal-breaker for me. Is it any better now?
As the owner of XM3 1.3l turbo (Korean model name for Arkana), had 5 recalls and the factory battery is notorious for its low power. Yet, a great car, fun to drive and reaches 25km/l on 80km/h cruise down the highway
I was driving this car, motor revs to the moon but is still lacking a decend acceleration, it is a shame that such a beautiful agressive looking car has so small engine, and is not even the plugin hybrid
Agreed. My sister was looking at this car in the e-tech version. I'm used to a more powerful car and I'm mostly driving an EV these days. However I was disappointed at how slowly a Renault engine with "formula one tech" accelerated. The rest of the car is great and the hybrid system works smoothly but this feels every bit as leisurely as over 10 seconds to 100km/h sounds. Just a bit more torque would be appreciated. Also, I'm the same height as Thomas and that boot catch is lethal. My sister is nearly 6ft and she thought it was dangerous. A power tailgate with a redesigned catch would be appreciated. So 2 annoying flaws on what is an otherwise super car. The styling and build seemed very good for the money. But she didn't buy it for those reasons.
I like Renaults and now that Renault have withdrawn the Koleos in the UK, I had hope this would be a replacement but there is not enough legroom in the back so it's going to be a Tiguan.
Possible to mention width of the cars perhaps have a db meter for noisetest? As always great review! For me those fake exhausts are a dealbreaker..awful!

Whats the target? Not serious and rich. Not young that wants aggressive look with fast (big) bhp (no less than 350bhp) and improved launch pad (0 to 60mph at least for less than 4-5 seconds!)… not finny slow “below 10 sec”)… Fake exhsust are insanity… Wide and bigger tyres are a must…

its called megane compact or something like that in Balkans, funny thing because of him >X

Euro NCAP Crash test 2020, captur and Arkana with 5 stars are not paper cars. Renault and Volvo were the first carmarker with 5 stars cars before German premium cars or japanese that is the fact, don't write about you don't know.
