The cheapest ways to overcome blind spots when seeing to the rear of the car are...
1. For the rear view side mirrors on the doors, both to have a two-way mirror reflection configuration on rear side view mirrors: for example, on one rear view side mirror you have a standard ordinary mirror lens and a magnifying convex mirror lens at the end tip side by side. Two mirror lens on that one same rear view side mirror on the door.
2. For the rear view side mirrors on the doors to be coated with anti sunlight glare transparent coating.

Yeah indeed, manufacturers themselves told us that whole product lines have been changed and that they even created new departments as direct result of our coverage raising awareness. When talking about the recent horrible front grills on Lexus and Genesis cars, and now BMW, they often talk about how Audi grills have become larger lately and while that is true, I think the difference is that with Audi the grills complement the overall design on the front with the various lines, etc. A more coherent design language rather than just making changes to draw attention or differentiate the brand. Just my thoughts.

You go into details others ignore (like yours was the only video review of A6 I could find, that actually checked under armrest area - I was spotting the SIM card slot), which makes you stand out. Same here. Just got a slot for the exclusive colour. Went with Panther Black with carbon optics etc, round steering wheel in alcantara (no flat bottom option available in canada). Problem is not being delivered until april may 2022. How you enjoying your special purchase.

@@jonathan_careless supply chain issues again. They only have 35% allocation compared to last year which was also a fraction of 2019. Dont mind the wait. Something to really look forward to and delivery is spring/ summer. Ideal for long drives down west coast Vancouver to San Francisco.

@@jonathan_careless no, hahaha. they stopped producing the rs5 sportback in june. My allocation got pushed to 2023 MY. Advantage being I have now got the RS5 with the competition pro package in Sebring Black, a new special addition colour for the competition package cars, which was only a 890$ additional option. Same crystal effect paint as panther black but a 4k discount. Unbelievably, with the the competition pack, exclusive colour and options before being included in said comp back, its cheaper than my special paint MY2022. They are making even fewer RS model cars this year than last. You still loving your car?

Is this some kind of new safety legislation in Germany? Many thanks to all of you for the great content you give us!

I wrote it last time Thomas actually this car and also the coupe suits you perfectly ( of course with alcantara seats ) you should definetly get one cause its just a beuty from in and outside. I have the sportback but in nardo grey its just fantastic :)

I was thinking of a RS4 for myself (40, no kids, single), as the RS4 has the right size as a car AND, apart from its sportiness, plenty of functionality. I don't need a House on wheels just for myself.
Seeing now how much boot space the RS5 has, I think I have to consider the RS5 too now.
I will soon check both out physically, to get an idea of measurements and if I would even fit in it ..😄

Awesome car, I had an S5 and absolutely loved it. First Audi and flawless and faultless. After 2 years of driving I wanted to trade in for a more powerful car, like an RS5 - in England they are about 5k more than an M4 comp of same year - which is the only other car I was considering. I chose the M4 CP in the end, amazing seats and strong build quality, no soft limiter either so sounds like a real sports car. I love the hard drive but if both cars were in same price bracket I may have been persuaded by a good salesman! Regrets now, only in the winter, the quatro system is sensational! Audi ceo, make the rs5 a little less expensive, you may lure m4 fanboys over!
Agreed that the RS5 is overpriced. You can get an M4 CP or c63 w that money. That’s why I’m thinking about just tuning up an s5.
We based our decision to buy a 2021 Audi RS5 on your review. Is there any way you could explain dynamic mode with gear shift in S and D versus using RS1 with all sport selected in Audi drive select with gear shift in S and D. Thank you.

I have this same packages in my Mythos Black 2023 RS5, minus the carbon fiber engine cover and the black leather pants in the passenger seat, grrr. I love the Carbon Package and I would have thought it would have been included with the engine cover for the price. I do have the panoramic roof, DRC and black optic package. I don’t have the Alcantera steering wheel, just on the door panels. I’m 6’ 4’ and fit well in the set. Interesting, I do have adaptive cruise control and traffic jam, it was in a package. Thank you for the review.

I believe the 2.9L V-6 turbo is the same engine used in Porsche.....WOW sedan with the power, hatch space and control of a Porsche Macan GTS for $10-15K less

Both for sure awesome... tough choice. The RS5 is the more agile approach, the e-class bigger and bulkier, A5 is more the C-Class segment
Alcantara on the steering wheel is really great but it quickly wears out after few months and the it looks quite old.
