The fact that it's considered worthwhile making a video about these "glaring faults" can only mean one thing: that it's otherwise a very good car..... most other EV's in this price category have, or have had, some real problems! I still don’t recommend buying this car, simply because birds can shit on it, it’s a complete disappointment and it doesn’t let me sleep, and the complete disappointment is that it needs to be refueled, it’s so inconvenient and takes up my time, it’s so sensitive to gas stations that I just want to throw it away it in the trash. Also, the foot mats don't clean themselves, it's so annoying I have to do it myself every time. It DOES support wireless car play and Android auto. Your info is (or perhaps was) incorrect. You just have to make sure you enable 5ghz WiFi on the car and away you go.
Have had an eC4 for three years. Got it by accident, as it was the only one available (it was Covid / chop shortage time). Agree on the cup holders, but resolvable by adding something at the bottom to raise cups (use a folded old tea towel which helps with spillages. The main issue for me is the App, which is completely useless, so do not rely on this if you are wanting to view and control the car remotely. (Apparently Citroen are working on this for the revamped model in 2025). However the two BIG pluses are the comfortable ride and the m/kWh you can get out of the eC4. Even in the Winter I have got 4 m/KWh, and the other day I got 5.2m/kWh (albeit it was on a 50 mile journey on a slower windy A road). It is a very versatile hatchback / SUV and I would still recommend it as a good value EV, if you are in the market for such a vehicle.
I agree with you about the HUD, way too distracting. But if it can be left hidden permanently that's the problem solved! How about the stop/start - does it work well for you? Other reviewers have mentioned it being slow to start up, just when you need it e.g. at a junction.

Not the best review on the e-c4, the coffee cup holders as you think they are called are actually for small bottles of water. Great, glad to hear it Stuart!
I hear non problems
You look like an automotive Oscar the grouch from Sesamestreet.
😂
Hey yeah the cups i hear that alot but i have a3d printer so i will fill them up with something i will draw up and print... i believe i see the hyper black seats is it not? can you show me what the massage button does is it just one part is it knocking on the back or just a air pump or something? thanks
Very cool idea. I thought the shine plus did have massage seats but I can't find a button that would activate it.
@@CarSubscriber if you have all leather seats and if you have electric adjustable seats then you have it if not then i did not see the seats good enough
I have a c4 max and it has wireless Android auto.
I m French and i like Big cup of coffee😂
WTF! The number One problem is the coffecup holder??? get real.
What about the lag in the throttle response? That is a way bigger downside. Anyone know about a workaround?/update to sort that?
Yes it's a little slow off the block but overall a good car. Maybe they will update it later.
Didn’t mention the tiny battery and pathetic range along with no self closing rear door
Thanks! I”ll never make a test drive without a Starbuck’s coffee. Which size?
Medium cup 👍
Starbuck's doesn't make coffee, its dark dring, normal black tea is stronger 🤣🤣🤣
The most annoying thing about this car, is the god damn "my Citroen" APP, my days it's useless. It's actually more likely to win the euro jack lottery than getting this mess of a app to work.
Nice car. 👍
Thanks! 👍
Don't buy citroen ec4 cross because its a problem the cup of coffee... And buy Volkswagen golf and t roc with problem machine ahahahahaha
This is the most stupid video I have watched. This car is brilliant!
I love being able to see the dislike numbers too
Do you drive about with a cup of coffee?
Yes Ray. lots of people do :-)
When someone like Starbucks shittt coffee of course have such this opinion about this amazing cupb
Tbh I can't be doing with that cheap shiny black plastic inside
You mean the same plastic that pretty much every car under 80k uses
Can't really comment..,but I will this time..."GET A LIFE", all, (and I do mean 'ALL'), your views are totally unfounded. This Vehicle at this "price point" is truly exemplary...the Comfort is literally Second to None. STAY SAFE...G.A.R.
weak arguments, i was expecting a report on battery performance or unusual breakdowns
Onto have gone into administration now so thats a shame.
This is trivia.Switched off.
