New 1/8 buggy to hit TVRC races with. Got it Monday and all finished up by Tuesday afternoon. This is just a quick shakedown session... I won't really know how the car is handling until we get some water on the track... but watching the footage back so far it looks promising!

Ahh Tekno. Now you're talkin. Best kits hands down. I wish I had a track like that around here. I'f I was anywhere near you I'd be racing there. Looks like a nicely kept track. If they run a truggy class it would be even better. Keep it up. Thanks for the video updates.
Sweet laps bro. Looks like it really pulls itself through the turns!
Great video. I think that buggy is setup perfectly. Just going to order myself the 1512 1800kv and mamba x combo as well for a buggy I’m finishing up. Would this be the SMC V2 Graphene 5200 4S ? I do run them great lipos
Nice driving looks pretty good scooting around the track.
get it!!
If you don’t mind my asking how much does a set up like this run bro?
Always thought about racing these things, or playing with them FPV style would be stick too, or FPV racing them!
EB48 kit runs around 600, electronics will put you back another 300, batteries run 75-130+ each for the good ones, tires aint cheap either, and you need a Tx plus a bench full of tools, bearings, fluids and spares. All said you would have a hard time getting into a 1/8 race setup for under a grand. It's fun tho. If you get a good club and competitive races it can be a blast. I was doing 1/8 racing long before quads were a thing. I wish I could get back into it, but you need a good track and a dedicated group. Anymore finding good 1/8 tracks is not easy. Most folks get into 1/10 SCT because the cost of entry is a little cheaper and 1/10 tracks are smaller and can fit indoors so you can race year around. Not sure about FPV on these cars, It might be hard to keep your bearings on a track like that. The low bouncy POV might make it harder than just traditional style.
Fullwatts FPV thanks for the spot on perfecf info dude!
Looks good. Maybe too stiff of a sway bar in back if it has one or maybe go to a slightly softer spring?
That song affects look like is for a great freestyle video but love RC cars as well keep up the good work
I recently put an airunit in one those. Its awsome... needs a bit time to het used to though. But love it now
Kewl beans bro 🤛🏼
You broke down and got one.? Nice
That looked really good! Is that the stock settings?
Mostly! I added like 2 turns of pre load for the bumps. I might try playing with the toe but should probably wait till I can run the track prepped.
hey man what color is that on your body?
Tamiya flourescent orange. 👍
Thanks looks awsome.
How is this set up ? Still running strong ? Lol one year later in the comment section
I’m looking into adding this to my Losi 8 xe elite kit. Everyone is running tekin rx8 and hw rx8 setups but I like to be different and this seems like the go to next runner up.
this video is 2 years old and yes I still run this combo in this buggy + another one in another 2.0 and I'm also running a Mamba X in my ET48 2.0 with the 1515 2200 motor. IMO this is the best power setup you can get for 1/8. It handles heat better and just makes more power. This is the final race from last season. ruclips.net/video/WzEjgPDAUiY/видео.html
@@Furadi so the 1512 or 1515 is better with heat
@@jonesy3002 Sorry I mean the Mamba X esc. I've run races in 90+° weather where others were thermaling out. Definitely get the 1512 for ebuggy cause the 1515 motor is heavier and insanely overpowered.
@@Furadi thanks man appreciate the help. Just watched your last race. Nice run lol getting sideways on the main straights always a blast on the tracks can’t wait to finish my build, coming from a typhon 6s loads of power but a bit to much for the track even though I hav no issues handling it want more smooth power delivery
