In terms of how deep the show is conceptually, it doesnt get much deeper than what you see. Classic Haunted House vibes, the ghosts play around with the kid and it ends in a dark way. The show was designed with those horror movie tropes in mind. Pretty straightforward. That and being distracted is kinda the point, you can watch whatever you gravitate towards more because they share equal weight to what the show is. Hopefull you want to watch it again and only watch the battery to see what you missed
You’re 100% right and they got 3rd place that year! Another thing to look out for is that the Music from the Drumline/Pit ties into the horror story they portrayed as well which is pretty cool (example: 6:46 when the wife slapped the possessed husband, the snares did a rimshot at the same time)
