Lock Up were so good - I was really into this album back in 1990/1991. Early funk/rap metal. Their singer David Grillo (RIP) sounded a lot like Eddie Money - really soulful.😊

He’s lucky Zack Daddy Mac came along to save him from this Living Color/Chili Peppers act

Mmm! 🤔 I’m not sure Zack necessarily saved Tom , but rather fate brought them together where they elevated each other along with Brad and Tim 🤘🏽

Apparently Brad Wilk tried out for this band and didn’t get the job - Lock Up had several drummers during their existence. After they broke up, their last drummer John Knox contacted Tim and Zack (who had known and played music together for years) to jam with Brad and Tom and the rest is history.

lock up was ratm without a wigger on vocals and better guitar solos same style of riffing.
