Playing guitar with your teeth is a very old trick, dating back to at least the 1950's. Jimi Hendrix was the first really popular guitarist to do it, but a LOT of old Bluesmen did it. Hendrix claimed to have picked it up in Tennessee in the early 60's.

Your filming was just excellent, following the action on stage just perfectly, and the sound was great as well. I never find myself saying 'oh I wish he'd filmed just over there' somehow you always manage to be looking at just the right bit of the stage. Awesome set of videos really, thanks!

I hate when people say that.. Morello is responsible for some of their greatest riffs and songs ever.. RATM, audioslave, prophets of rage, solo projects.. I'm probably preaching to the choir but my Uncle is one of those Tom morello haters. hes more into Clapton and Hendrix, But I try to explain to him just because it's not the style of music you like doesnt mean the dude is not a skilled guitarist.

The strings setting out like that grabs more energy......if you play. A speaker has a magnet .............. I dont cut mine because i think it looks better and plus i think i hear a difference somehow . I know jimi would tilt his hat to tom morello!!! Think about it!
No he doesn’t cut them because someone made fun of him for leaving them long when younger and said “you’re not in the baddest band in town”. Years later once RATM took off he stopped trimming them because now he *was* in the biggest band in town.

God I can't help but watch this a few times a week, I have the cd but love the live version so much.
The thing is, Morello never does anything complex or complicated. He's just a very creative song writer.
For me, that sweep picking was complex, but the dj scratch was only very creative, so i'd say it's a mix xD
