Opening act of the NIN|JA tour, Street Sweeper Social Club gets the crowd hyped. Most weren't expecting much of anything, in fact many didn't even make it for their performance. SSSC, however, made everyone there stand up and take note, they rocked the fuggout!
Performance was at the Starlight Theatre, Kansas City, MO, on 5.27.09.

Saw them live during the 2009 NINJA tour and remember being on the lawn and confidently shitting on the clearly ripped off guitar sound/style with my brother, who was with me. Then we recognized the Arm The Harmless guitar...

He's good at one thing. When I want to listen to some guitar stuff I don't think about Tom or Rage. The part at 4:00 is utter nonsense anyway.

Playing guitar with your teeth is a very old trick, dating back to at least the 1950's. Jimi Hendrix was the first really popular guitarist to do it, but a LOT of old Bluesmen did it. Hendrix claimed to have picked it up in Tennessee in the early 60's.
Their EP's are actually pretty good, but damn this solo is pure genius

I hate when people say that.. Morello is responsible for some of their greatest riffs and songs ever.. RATM, audioslave, prophets of rage, solo projects.. I'm probably preaching to the choir but my Uncle is one of those Tom morello haters. hes more into Clapton and Hendrix, But I try to explain to him just because it's not the style of music you like doesnt mean the dude is not a skilled guitarist.

It's okay. For me is important, that s.o. can play 64th notes in 120bpm. Than I can say, he can play guitar. 😂

For me, that sweep picking was complex, but the dj scratch was only very creative, so i'd say it's a mix xD

I watch a lot of videos and music on RUclips, but I've never really been moved to comment.
Your filming was just excellent, following the action on stage just perfectly, and the sound was great as well. I never find myself saying 'oh I wish he'd filmed just over there' somehow you always manage to be looking at just the right bit of the stage.

It's just natural harmonics while using the whammy pedal set to 1 octave up and a delay pedal set to a fairly long delay, the over/under way he plays it is just being showy. It's really that simple.

The begining of the second solo is very original. It's incredible that somebody can be creative with the guitar after so many eras. Sorry about my poor english. Hope you understand me.
What I like most is that Tom looks like hes having the most fun I have ever seen him have playing which is great. I hope this works out for him

No he doesn’t cut them because someone made fun of him for leaving them long when younger and said “you’re not in the baddest band in town”.
Years later once RATM took off he stopped trimming them because now he *was* in the biggest band in town.
