Dave Grohl actually played the drum track for My God Is The Sun on the studio album, I think Reznor was in it somewhere too actually. I might be mistaken, but I remember him being on the album somewhere.

NIN has been the by far and without a doubt the largest influence on any and every aspect of my obsession with music, and i've absolutely loved every single album - except for 'hesitation marks'. i just don't like it. and i don't like the fact that i don't like it(HA). i agree completely with Rory Mac, this performance is a FAR better rendition - IN MY OPINION. 'hesitation marks' is just far too 'clean', 'clinical', and soft i believe, and it just doesn't have the raw dirtiness - whether it be in carefully woven strands or in a massive wall - that i absolutely love about NIN. this performance captures that though, and there isn't a single elitist douchebag that could ever change my OPINION on this.

And for 2017, when Metallica were going to play, first they "forgot" to introduce them, then Hetfield's mike just happened to be turned off... not to mention the many "Rock" awards going to nonrock. Grammys neglect the rock genre, it's that simple. And it's very wrong.

Wow that either was a purposefully disrespectful dig or they are incompetent morons who know nothing about music and Dave's history. Either way, its hugely pathetic and another reason i stopped watching the Grammys many years ago.
