      What's sad is majority of the poor people are now completely neutralized by the state with the use of cell phones and intel. They always have with utility bills, medical records, bank statements, criminal records, Learning institutions, and very much everything with your name on it.

      You think this commie talk is intelligent? 1st, their wasn't a genocide against Native americans. Most died from European diseases they were not immune too. Many also died from battles from just wars. The native Americans fought and battled for land among themselves, there have been mass graves found from the slaughter of tribes by rival tribes...so our war is just as justified as theirs. All of humanity has been a conquest for land until our current modern age. 2nd Slavery, America did not create slavery but was one of the first to end it. Thanks to the western world and America slavery was stopped. The word Slave come from Slav, the Slavic people of Europe were the first to be enslaved by Arabs. The Arabs also enslaved Africans and Asians. 3rd the Atomic bomb, any historian worth their salt will acknowledge the dropping of the bomb saved more lives that it killed. Japan was given an offer to admit defeat and end their empire but they said no. The US even dropped pamphlets warning of the coming bomb to save civilians. 4th millions of asian killed in war. China, Japan, Cambodia, Korea, have all killed more asians that America. Sure, I will acknowledge we don't belong on that side of the world but to say we are the "only country" is not true and naive of history and world events. This guy is a brainwashed loser. Good music but a complete dirty commie fool

      I actually met ZDLR in 1993, and then got to speak with him again after their BOLA album. He's a very cool dude and when you speak to him, he's looking you in the eyes, he's locked into what you're saying and asks questions. For example in my conversation with him he asked if I'm originally from Texas. When I told him no, I was born in Mexico, he asked which part of Mexico. After that, he asked me if I still go and visit. I mean followup after follow up. He's incredibly respectful and a true gentleman.

      @SASHA Savage That he wants a society that isn't centered around rich people despite being rich doesn't mean he's a hypocrite, it means he's principled. It isn't in his interest to advocate for such a thing in a class sense, but it is in humanities societal one, and he cares more about the needs of the many than the wants of the few.

It's always great to see men of different ethnic backgrounds being intelligent.

    • @malum9478
      @malum9478 Год назад

      there ain't nothin' wrong with the way we speak man. there's no such thing as "speaking [english] intelligently"--or at least not in the way you mean, the way we speak is as much intelligent as any other. it's a different dialect, but it has grammar, it has rules, it has cadence. the idea that our cultural creations are inferior to a more formal, businesslike, and yes, "white" way of speaking, is in of itself a product of white supremacy and colonialism. as if our way of speaking can't create poetry of the same caliber as shakespere. but we already know that ain't true, and we made a whole ass genre of music that proves it.
      the same attitude that says that is the same one that just a few decades ago said braiding and dreading our hair was bad.
      obviously, the true point is to speak as you want, but also don't look down at your fellow ethnic folk for our culture.

And as a younger guy I allowed some of the racist middle class white guy's I associated with to make jokes and disrespect less fortunate Hispanics in front of me. Mostly to show them I had a sense of humor, and to distance myself in their eye's from the poor Hispanics that they had no respect for.
      I wish I had not allowed it. Even if it effected my social life. Even if it led to fights. They were pissing in my face. I was allowing them to disrespect me by letting them talk shit about Hispanics like that. They would have said they were just kidding around or that I was being too sensitive. Maybe, but it was corrosive to my soul, and it allowed white privilege to grow and flourish within them. It helped continue our struggle within that community, and with those people.
