I just found these out a couple of days ago (came across them on YT).
1. Sometimes when DSP is getting clapped (13-0) for example by a "SCRUB" (as DSP calls them), that "SCRUB" turns out to be Pro-players who place 1st - 5th in almost every tournament they are in.
2. DSP's viewer spike during these matches generally comes from the other streamer's viewers so they can see if it actually is DSP and they tell that streamer all the things DSP says all the trash talk, bitching, complaining and then subscribe to their channels. Which explains DSP's viewership with no contributions that he always mentions (which is hilarious btw!!!).
3. During a breakdown of several of his matches come to find out, DSP is nothing more than a pattern player himself. Same 2-3 combos and goes for big damage moves instead of smaller damage moves that would leave his opponent open for big damage moves. When they pick up on his pattern he gets perfect K.O.'d (nothing intelligent about his play style).
So his tantrums seems even funnier to me now. Anyways, sorry this so long winded just thought you all would like to know.

I love how it's the first one second of his first match and he instantly hits us with : "I didn't do that, I wanted X and it gave me Y."

Phil doesn't care about the real quality of the net code, he'll claim it's bad to avoid admitting he gets outplayed. Add on that his personal issues with the canon brothers and refusal to understand rollback and he's more than happy to complain about it. Considering he's used the lag excuse when he's played offline, its impossible to take anything he says on the topic seriously.

He berates his opponents and tells them that they don't know basic fighting game mechanics. What is he basing this on? This isn't Street Fighter 2 and things have changed quite a bit since back then. If anything, his comprehension of fighting game mechanics is completely antiquated and obsolete at this point and he's just a dinosaur stuck in the past.
I would just like to point out that the Qanba Q7 Obsidian 2 has been known to not only have fake sanwa parts but also faulty parts to where buttons are being read when not being pressed and the joysticks are faulty to where it will read random inputs.

There is no such thing. Genuinely, there is no way to consider it as "favoring" certain inputs. That's not how it works.
What is much more likely is that he is mistiming every attempt to stuff/punish his opponent's attacks, and ends up getting smacked for it because he does not have the timing down.
Believe it or not, you do not automatically get a punish if you block an opponent's negative attack. In the same vein, you do not automatically break through the opponent's defense by hitting them after they block a positive attack.
There is still the barrier of quick reaction timings, and as frustrating as it may be, missing these windows by 1 frame still counts as missing them.
It's just a mixture of copium and his hatred of the canon brothers. He does not care for reality and feels the need to fuel his victim complex even harder.
