Mary had two other children. Therefore she did not remain a virgin.

My question is, if Mary is so holy and perfect, then why even have Jesus in the picture? Jesus, NOT Mary, came to save everyone from their sins for He Himself said, "I am the way the truth and the life, nobody comes to the father but through Me." He never said through my mother Mary or any other source, but through ME (Jesus) that's not to say that Mary was not a great woman of God but she is definitely not part of the Holy Trinity.

Because in the Old testament there's lots of talk about a man to become savior not a woman. So it wouldn't match and it would be inconsistent if it was just Mary. Plus old testament says he will come through a virgin. He came through an unmarked womb she was really pure. Also in the New testament and Old testament talks about priest happened to be pure. And Hebrews Jesus is the new priesthood through which we can go to. So its very deep. Keep reading keep learning. You will understand.

No orthodox Catholic or Orthodox ever did. From the Nestorian Church of the East to the Greek Orthodox to the Oriental Orthodox.
Mary’s flesh gave rise to Christ’s
Flesh, you don’t need an apocryphal text to know this. While Christ is the perfect sacrifice, Mary, who IS not divine at all and is just a human, would not have been sinful or stained of sin if her flesh gave rise to the perfect unblemished flesh of Christ.
As for her perpetual virginity, the word “adelphos” does not mean Blood brother, since St Paul called his readers “adelphos”. But instead Mary had no male relatives, either by daughters marriage or sons themselves because John adopts her - Christ’s final act, his thoughts to His Mother! Also in that Gospel of John where Mary prompts Christ’s first miracle

John 19:25-27 Mary is clearly identified.
Whilst I agree that the RC church has made a cult of Mary, ignore and change the 2nd Commandment and pray to many people other than God; Mary did give birth to (and raise) Jesus.
She was found to be blessed among all women to do so.
She was one of the few there at his crucifixion. Mark was not.
So let's not cast aspersions on Mary's presence and existence

She was definitely not a co-redeemer. However, being chosen above all women to be the mother of Jesus is pretty significant!
Mary knew who Jesus was, as the Angel advised. She lived in hiding in Egypt, was reminded, by Jesus, when she lost him and found him in the temple and WAS at the crucifixion,
per John 19:25:27 . So, let's not be so quick to obsess on her insignificance like men in 1st century did with all women. She had plenty of insight.

    • @annemariebrewster2626
      @annemariebrewster2626 4 года назад +5

Mary wasn’t just an avenue. She is in fact the Mother of God. In Jesus’s incarnation, He took on two natures, divine and human. This made Him true God and true man. Mary is the mother of His human nature. His divine nature has always existed because God had no beginning. And just to clarify, it was the Son of God who became man, not the Trinity. Therefore Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ’s human nature which indeed makes her the Mother Of God.

    • @Mirro.555

@@annemariebrewster2626 it is incorrect to divide two natures of Christ, thus it is incorrect to say Mary was the mother of His human nature. Don't forget the accusations that he healed on the Sabbath, they were considered sacreligous.

"Cult" implies ritualistic actions. Unless there are churches that do regular worship specifically to Mary then it's not a cult. Going to church every Sunday and other ritualistic actions are considered cult behavior though. So, saying "Cult of Jesus" is more appropriate than a denominational belief in Mary's role in the fictions. The Bible is poorly plagiarized from a dozen older religions and the jesus stories were definitely invented by Rome.

I find it very intriguing that scholars almost always neglect to tell the whole story but emphasize on the pieces that suit their narrative.Let me tell you a story. There was once an old man named Jusuf that lost his wife,as accustomed to these lands even to recent days he married a sixteen year old girl name Miriam.Jusuf had a bunch of kids from his first wife and a boy from Miriam. They lived in troubled times.Romans ruled their known world and everyone who opposed them was beaten, tortured or killed.Their son grew up to be a fine young man,and he had to rebel against the status quo and so he did peacefully. Most know the rest of his story but most don't know that the Greeks living in these lands called they boy Iasus which meant the healer because he was one. Also most people don't know that Greeks much later worshiped him and called his Christos which means anointed so the young man went down to history with those two names the anointed healer from Nazareth translated in English as Jesus Christ of Nazareth.Moving forward Jesus ideas been spread to the Roman world through his apostles gaining more and more followers that only longed for the end of violence and miss treatment. At the same time Dioclician first realizes that this is not gonna work they either need to change the way they rule or the empire will just crumple. He realized that the only way was the Greek way so he decided to move the capital of the roman empire. He didn't finish that job but one of his successors Constantine did.Constantine also realized that this new religion would hold the key to resurrect the empire, unite the people, give them hope and lead on to prosperity. After all this new religion just crowned him emperor.Been the wise man that he was he moved the capital to Byzantion renamed it Constantine's City (Constantinupolis) established the new religion as the formal religion of the empire but at the same time gave all the citizens the ability to worship anything they liked without repercussions and peace and prosperity started to show again in the empire.Or so he thought. The new religion now called christianism is growing in followers exponentially but even thought it preaches peace love justice and equality still there's something missing. You see women at this time through most of the world are suffering. There was a place thought that women were not lesser than men and that was Greece, there women were revered, they studied at the academies, they had equal political rights as men they had fortune (side note to be fair Egyptian women shared that privilege also)etc. Not in every city but in most of them.So far there is only the God and his Son.They replaced they void Zeus-Jupiter left behind. But the human nature is binary.Someone needs to fill the void of the female goddesses and represent the female nature. And there comes in Mary the virgin mother of the son of God.There in Byzantium they start preaching about her and suddenly she has all the virtues of the old goddesses. She is the mother figure and loyal wife like Hera, tends to the poor and the ones in need like Demetra, they even called her General like Athena but she doesn't have any of the human flaws of those goddesses. They even went as far as to give her a Greek name Maria (Mary) instead of her actual Miriam. And that's how the mother came into the picture,a feminine aspect of the divine to bring back the lost social balance.A social balance lost to those other religions that followed the same one God narrative but did not have their Mary or their own version of a divine feminine figure. Now I understand that some people might find that story offensive, some might say it is blasphemy and so on but you see the deference between this story and the others is that this story is our history.I just wonder why no one tells that story.

Evilness tried to hide the comeplete truth but the Lord is revealing more and more to us and we need to know it should have never been removed. As someone who grew up in Protestant churches i can say for a fact that we do see miracles and movement of the holy spirit quite often and we understand how the catholic church works, perhaps not all do, but for the most part we do understand how Catholicism works and what they believe considering most of them left catholicism and became protestants especially in the Hispanic churches it is a very common thing.
Biblically speaking the basis of common catholic beliefs contradict the bible, just to name some there are:
      1. Placing mary to the level of God and worshiping her
      2. Pagan customs which were never ordained by God such as, ash wednesday, christmas, and easter
      3. Having a pope who is supposedly the mediator between God and man
      4. Confessing to a priest to have your sins forgiven rather than praying directly to God to ask for forgiveness in Jesus name so that you may be forgiven
      5. The changing and adding to the bible which is forbidden as said in revelations.

I don't think that Mary Mother of Real Jesus was a hymen having virgin, but His conception was immaculate and miraculous.
It's interesting bc some texts refer to the imposter as "Ugly Mother."
The Apocrypha must still be missing some information, bc The Ugly Mary was always trying to usurp Mother Mary and steal from her, switching identities and killing Adami. Even Nero had gotten switched with an imposter. Magdelena had an imposter, she was a generation younger than Mother Mary.
In regular Protestantism, they vaguely refer to "The Three Mary's." But they were not a group. The real Magdelena was beautiful and sweet and in the generation. Mother Mary Mother of Jesus was often taken and replaced by the imposter Ugly Mary.
Long story short, the infrastructure and government of various places started to crumble and show bad ethos, Ugly Mary's son got crucified, long after other events, then they crucified a bunch of people, some upside down, got rid of the imposter Nero, and a bunch of imposter ass half snakes died horrible deaths.
The only issue was their souls.
    Black holes.

The Gospels were written by human beings and the versions we have today have been translated from Aramaic into Greek before making it into English. Biblical literalism is a phenomenon of the 20th century. The early Church fathers had no problem with interpreting some parts of the Bible as allegorical. If you're a Biblical literalist you're basically saying that the people who wrote the Gospels were perfect, which of course goes against the very foundation of Christian belief, ie that we are incapable of perfection because of original sin.
