      @lucasbortolucci981 I came across this wonderful piece of music in late 1950s. by chance got talking to a complete stranger in a Jazz Club Bar, in Manchester, England, UK, late 1950s. We became good friends in next few years.
      He gave some old 12 inch 78, records, this piece of music was among them.
      Sorry for being boringly nostalgic.
      Anyway, Peace to all.

      Not all of them are Vikings. For example the flutist is from Europe.

    favorite moments:
    1:30 omg the 1. violin 😍my favorite part of the whole piece
    2:30 1. violin just ahhhhh so beautiful.
    2:40 The Flute😍
    3:29 again the 1. violin love that part, I just looove Violins
    5:22 the oboe
    6:57 the harp is just magnificent the dynamics and the runs, just beautiful.
    9:51 just all of them playing together so nicely and the flute, magnificent

    Not once has the camera gone on to the violist (at least not alone). Not once. He's also not standing in the most ideal place. The harp is sort of blocking him. Figures. 2nd violinist doesn't get a shot either.
    People say it's "just joking" but the disrespect to the viola is real. I know the piece is essentially a harp concerto but come on. At least shine the camera on the guy especially Ravel's writing for viola is so colorful and unique, like the instrument's timbre.
