Just How Good is NFL Street 2 in 2023?

- We're playing the legendary NFL Street 2 today, and this is my first time on the game. I've had many tell me that this is the best NFL Street game, and after revisiting the original game last year, I'm back to try the sequel, and perhaps launch a new series.

Need to definitely do a Own The City series. By far some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing a game
For sure own the city was awesome if memory serves me right you could claim a player from the opposing team when you beat them.
@@ruff_randy6925 you play pickup games, and are able to pick a player from your team or the opposing to join your squad. Once you have a squad you can start stealing other players from opposing teams once you beat them

I discovered your channel through the NFL street series. It was amazing to watch each new part as they come out. Seriously would love if you did a series for this game as well. The modes make for great content imo

Definitely a new NFL Street 2 series would be nice to see. I would recommend starting off with the NFL Challenge, then move on to other viable modes.

Oh man the nostalgia is heavy with this one for me. It was with Street 1 too but not nearly to this level. I absolutely love this game. So much fun. They absolutely should still make some games like this today, I'm confident there is a good market for it especially with how much time has passed since we had a street/arcade style NFL game. I'd love to see you make another mini series out of this one like you did with the first street Cane. If you have the time to you'll definitely have a viewer from start to finish with me. Although to be honest I think I watch every series start to finish. I've even been loving Golf which isn't my thing at all (although I did enjoy playing Tiger Wood's golf game a few years a while back so I guess I just enjoy golf games while not being a big fan of the real thing). Anyway to end the rant, great video Cane. Hope to see more.

Cane you should definitely make this a series 100% the first NFL street game on your channel was fun to watch it would be another fun experience with this game being a series on the channel

Love to see new/different games on the channel, the variety is a fun mix up. Have you heard of Football Coach: College Dynasty? It's like Football Manager and NCAA 14 had a baby, and even though it's a little rough around the edges (it's a one man passion project in early access on Steam), it's some of the most fun I've had playing a sports coaching game lately.
100% this could be a great series to mix with the franchises. Always fun to see the great players that we grew up watching.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Loved the hell out of the first 2 nfl streets. Put in so many hours in it. I played it not long ago and might do my own gameplay of it.
I loved the fact you could connect careers of this and madden 06 to see how your player transforms from the streets to the actual NFL. It was so much fun to do that.

Do an Own the City mode with one of your college stars who didn't quite make it in the pros, then either roll him into a Madden 06 series or an NFL Challenge where he captains a crew of your other customs or viewer submissions.
Also, you want guys with good catching over o-moves, from my experience.

I played the hell out of this and FIFA Street 2 when I was in high school and college. The street games were the best back in the day.
EA needs to do this with modern rosters. Would buy in a heart beat

I would absolutely LOVE to see you do a full series on this game. both NFL Challenge and Own The City, you could do a full series on both separately! this game has so much to offer, I've probably spent more time playing this game than any other PS2 title (besides Def Jam FFNY lol)
also in the "Modify Teams" tab you can edit all the gear on every single player in the NFL and it carries through all game modes. if you wanna change Randy Moss so he wears a throwback Vikings jersey and a bucket hat or whatever, you can do that. (I used to "assign" like an offensive and defensive captain for every team and make them wear their actual NFL jersey, and have the other players decked out in street clothes just for fun)

I worked for blockbuster when this game was released and I had It rented on my account for 4 solid months before I returned it. It was a LOT of fun taking my bucs all the way

If you do Own The City, there should be a continuation in Madden 06. IMO, you should do one of them now and the other when football season is over

I say you playthrough Own the City mode, not sure which channel legend should take on that. If the emulator can import into an emulated Madden 06, may be fun to do a mega series too

Idea for a series: Street to the Penthouse. Build a character in NFL Street 2 and have him join a team (perhaps as an UDFA) in Madden 06 and try to turn them into a Hall of Famer

They definitely need to remaster these games or at least make a new one for the new consoles but keep the old school nostalgia!
One is good two is great. If you had friends back in the day and a multitap there was no better game to play on playstation during a sleep over or party. Maybe time splitters. Xbox had system link and halo. But this was so fun, making your whole team as your friends and go on the franchise mode. The mini games were great.

played this on emulator once and it was fire lol. as someone who has little knowledge when it comes to football this was the only football game that i managed to understand and enjoy due to its simplicity lol
This is legit my favorite game of all time.
Both modes are equally as good. I think you can take your team from own the city mode into the gauntlet and challenge.

Own the city was easily the best mode in this game. Nothing better then creating a QB and running him though and then uploading him to madden…. Brings me back lol
Own the City is definitely the way to go. I can't believe that neither Champ nor Woodson got picked over all the DBs in the pickup game though.
You should definitely do own the city, it might even be cool to do something with madden 06 with the linked player. You should 100 percent be trying to hit the hotspots whenever you dont own them already, and always wait for game breaker 2 unless you are desperate for points
