NFL Street 2 will always a part of my memories. I still remember the times when I was a little kid and me and my friends would invite each other to come over and play NFL Street 2 because the game was that good
Everyone loves to complain about why entertainment companies don’t like to take risks. What happened to Midway and what happened to EA Sports BIG during 2008 is exactly why!
I remember the first time I played street 2 at my cousin house he had a sleepover with all his friends and we literally stayed up til the next morning all playing we had to 2 console and tvs setup and it was a whole tournament man I miss those days games just don’t hit the same anymore
The Street series didn't fail, they stopped making them because they sell less than simulation games. Return on investment is much greater for games like Madden and NBA Live.
NBA Street Vol 2 and SSX Tricky were perfect, so of course, EA Sports Big followed those up with lackluster sequels and then stopped making them entirely.
EA Sports Big should’ve never went away, Imagine if EA Sports Big was still around with the PS5 and Series X. The Sports gaming genre would be way different then what we have today.
I don't recall staying home all day playing video games as a kid we skate roller skate play all sports even cricket and rugby pool table and party every Saturday people always wanted to be around us
It’s sad how much of a letdown NFL Street 3 was for me. Especially after Street 2 I actually didn’t notice how bare bones it was minus on the main menu.
Let's be honest, NFL games are never going to be worldwide bestsellers. Outside America very few people even care about the mainstream NFL games in comparion o the juggernaut that is FIFA, even less were ever going to care about an arcadey Street version. And I guess it comes down to development costs vs sales, developing a game almost specifically for one country just isn't cost effective
Nobody has EVER given me a good reason why NFL Street 3 is bad. That game is great and imo, the best in the series. It just dosen’t make sense why it gets hate.
It was hands down the best in the series. But it came out at the end of the ps2 life cycle. Xbox 360 and ps3 was being released. A lot of people just didn't play it
The only thing I can think of that I didn't like about 3 was the depiction of attributes and stats. I think 1 did the best on that, 2 and 3 it was hard to tell the level of attributes affixed to a skill
EA BIG never failed. EA just foolishly discontinued it.

We just played the mini games. Jump ball battle, two on two and crush the carrier. Played those for hours
@@MikeBNumba6you gotta get the Xbox version because the online servers is coming back for Street 2
But the best thing about NFL street was the song harder
@@jumpman2326 Oh damn really
@@garyforagerjr5074 OMG for real bro. Their soundtrack was amazing
First two NFL Streets were goated. Street 3 wasn’t bad, had some cool ideas, but felt rushed. And let’s just forget NFL Tour even happened.
Nfl tour was corny ngl. Of course they would drop the ball on that note
Right?
NFL Street 3 was garbage. Should have had it like how they did NBA Street v3. Nothing crazy but a few tweaks.
@@bradleyehringer5787 but compare to tour tho and tell me it's still trash
@@garyforagerjr5074 yeah. NFL Tour was just...awful. I'll give you that.
1:13 broo!! Crazy to see a video I made IN YOUR VIDEO! I have made multiple videos on NFL Street and NFL Street 2
