- Backyard Football from 2003 is still fun! Let's relive some memories in this 20+ year old game! We play on the Nintendo gamecube featuring everyone's favorite Pablo Sanchez! You can also play as iconic NFL players! It might not be as good as the 1998 version, but I still have a lot of fun!

Fun fact: Pablo Sanchez has an English dialogue in Backyard Baseball where he says he learned Spanish in school as a second language
If I’m remembering correctly, to get that English dialogue you had to hold the Shift key then click on Pablo so he talks

So, I actually worked on this game. Thanks for sharing it with everyone. There are a ton of Easter eggs in the game, like all of the kids play better on their birthdays and the game tracks the internal calendar on the GC - so one of the arenas changes to a Christmas motif on Dec. 25th and another to a Halloween motif on that holiday. The game was a lot of fun to make. The AI is admittedly a little weak but as a two player game, I think it holds up well.
I freaking loved it when GC games used the calendar and did special things on holidays.
You guys made a great game! Thanks for giving us so much fun.

Backyard Football 2001 for PC with Drew Bledsoe on the cover will be one of my all time favorite Backyard sports game. Played that game for hours on end.
I'm happy you branched out of NCAA despite how amazing the vids were, I think the campaign mode from blitz the league 2 with your commentary would be hilarious

@@kyperactivehe means it’s not a series compared to his NCAA videos where they’re back to back and that’s all he does consistently. This one had been every now and then when he wants. Some of the first ones were a year ago.

Loved this game as a kid. Not sure if you noticed, but the CPU will throw to the same receiver on every single passing play.

I played this game so much until my brother pointed out that the computer only throws to one receiver. Became way too easy after that.

This was a game i played during childhood. I am now 24 and i still own this game for my GameCube. I love it to this day.
When this cam out for PC as a kid I thought it was life-changing, then I realized I liked the original was slightly better

This game is absolutely amazing. Easily one of my most played GC games. The play creator was actually really good I remember making 3 plays that worked every time and I felt like a football savant.
This game will always have a special place in my heart. I still got the same game from when I was 8!

I think you’d have a blast playing MLB Slugfest. I believe the 2004 version is one of the best. Quick gameplay and you can punch all the players that give you “the look”

Challenge: NFL Street 1, but every division you only add 1 OP new character to your team
(Start with 2 characters and the rest default characters, as you start with 2 zones open, get the challenges done and do the ladder. When you beat the ladder and open a new area, you make a default character a new character and spend your points on them to make them OP too)

So I was born in 99 and never gotten to experience these classics, I grew up playing Madden and mlb BUT I will say it was you and a couple other youtubers that got me to download the BBL 97 game and it;s been a lot of fun, kinda wish I grew up playing these games lol

Yeah the PC version of Backyard football 03 is personally my favorite Backyard kids game ever. It was pretty easy but still so fun

I miss the series you used to do, I really enjoyed and got a huge nostalgia trip watching you play NCAA and honestly wouldn’t mind if you went back to doing some series stuff especially like MLB the show or even NBA2k could be really cool. Love the content though keep pumping the videos out.
I would love for the series to be upgraded for modern consoles. I would buy it. Madden wouldn't stand a chance.

I don't remember if you did this already NTE or if it was someone else but did you ever do a vid on either of the Bigs baseball games? I had the demo of the Bigs 2 on PS3 an it was gloriously silly arcade fun, and had fantastic mechanics. Still holds up pretty well today too
