This viewer decides that all images taken today are "stunning" but out of the last two (a hard one to decide) I've chosen the piece with the corrugation. Beautiful!
I love your fine art style, but added to that, just seeing how much you enjoy capturing the images is what make your videos so special. A boot full of water is an added bonus though.
For anyone else giggling at 9:27 and many other times in this lovely video. "groin: a low wall or sturdy barrier built out into the sea from a beach to check erosion and drifting."
I think the 18 minute mark of unpacking a fully packed kit just for one last shot you happen to see on your way out summarizes 90% of my print worthy shots. Such a pain re setup and unpack but you rarely regret it.
Brilliantly done as always Goughy Lad. Great images and vision. Not to mention the suffering for your art, Trench Foot is no laughing matter! 😂👍 Regards, Dazza. 🇬🇧
Once again really inspiring images and the enthusiasm on presentation is top notch. To me the last image represent someone is drowning and the ship is coming for the rescue. Thanks for sharing!
of all the photo vlogs i watch i believe i just may enjoy yours the most...your enthusiasm , your photos, and what you share..excellent...now that ive built you up, ..i think i would have removed outer post in last images..just my opinion...we all got em
That's a great video to watch Gary, lots of advice and enthusiasm! And some cracking images. I think I prefer the second image, it has more interest and the distant pole and sky highlight makes it for me.
Love watching your videos Gary, your excitement comes through the screen to us all out here in cyber space... wowww you captured some beauties. Keep the videos coming !!!!!
OMGoodness. What an amazing video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sitting on my couch with a big old smile on my face the whole time. So, photograph 1 or 2..... I have to say number 2. Setting up again was certainly worth it - another lesson learned.
Gary, I really like the recession shot, it's truly a belter, but disagree with you that it's better than the artist with the lighthouse, I still say that's the best shot you've posted since starting your RUclips journey. The composition is spot on but the processing takes it to the next level, it's just so delicate.
When i watch your videos the saying “if you love what you do, you won’t work a day in your life” always comes to mind. Thanks again for the inspiration. Love both images, but the last one you took with the metal pointing to the object in sea takes the cake for me. My eye just bounces back and forth between the 2 objects.
Notice an image, stop the car, turn back, and take that image, these have turned out to be some of my best images. Because it is dictated by the heart of the photographer. I love the first fine art image.
Gary that has been the best video for a long time. I love your enthusiasm and you are truly a magnificent photographer. thanks again. I am looking at joining you on a tutorial. thanks again
Gary, what sets your channel apart is that you make it fun. Your natural enthusiasm when you get a great shot is infectious. It makes me want to grab my camera bag and go out. Thank you.
I still look forward to all of you videos Gary and go back over your previous ones too. With your coastal images, you are not alone. Help is out there at Groynes Anonymous…….Lol Thanks for all of your work, insights and tips Andy
Wow. Just stunning work Sir... I live by the sea on the East Coast of Scotland. I don't venture down to the beach to see what I can come away with.. Maybe I should!!!
Just come back from Happisburgh Beach workshop and yes, the area is great for long exposure shots and I have taken tons shots of the poles, markers, wavebreakers there too. Love it and wish I could be back there, but it is a bit far from Germany. Also went to Walcott Beach, Cley and Holkham Beach - just amazimg.
Fantastic once again Gary, you are very inspirational. One thing I’d like to recommend to you for future, based on a few of your videos, fishing waders! 😂😂
Such a beautiful sunrise. I thought photographing the metal sticking out of the water wouldn't make a great photo. Your fine art touch made it better than great. That was a very productive morning. Cheers and thanks for sharing, Gary.
Wonderful video. I personally love the second fine art image of the metal piece & separate stancheon. I have only recently started to do long exposure photography at the coast & absolutely love it. Thanks so much for your inspirational videos
Absolutely outstanding video Gary. I think it’s the best one you’ve ever done. Seeing your enthusiasm is so inspiring, and the skill you show in capturing so many quality images in such a short area is truly remarkable.
Gary : inspiring!,,!!this is my sister ‘s post .shes a natural fotog!,wish I could figure out how to send you one or two of her pictures! .....Jamie Really love your sharing your beautiful wrk and thought process!,,!
Living in Happisburgh and being a hobby photographer I am very familiar with the 1000's of pictures that are taken of the decaying groynes and revetments. But your long exposure pictures are in a league of them all. You have inspired me to take my tripod and some ND filters to try it for the first time. Thanks !
Nice! Love the final pic with the metalwork pertruding. The skies looked really bland but with the fine art finish they just blend in perfectly. Great video too, you make it all so exciting.
Another great video Gary. You certainly milked every groyne along there. And wow was it successful. Stunning image's mate. The last one with the metal and the pole in the distance you could imagine what was left ofa sunken ship. Look forward to the next one.
Amazing as always Gary, I am amazed at just how many portfolio images one man can get on one shoot, not blowing smoke just appreciating a master at work, thanks as always for sharing.
Thanks for that Henry, a really relevant video for me. Been watching your videos for a while. Haven't got a camera yet. Cant decide between apsc and full frame. Image 1 for me. Hope the eye op went well. Thanks again pal.
Wow I’m really impressed with the beautiful shots in this video. The colors of the skyline are just amazing. The sunrise lighting up the clouds is awe inspiring🤩
another fantastic video the east coast has some amazing structure/objects its looking for that art and you do that very well a place to go a lot more this year
I absolutely loved every one of your images - I wish we had such "toys" to play with on our side of the Atlantic - but if I had to pick a favourite, the image of the painter with the lighthouse would be it.
Hey Gary. It’s such a pleasure to watch your videos. You’ve got a true filmmaker’s skill for storytelling and your photos are just fantastic. I really like how you take an ordinary scene and turn it into an extraordinary fine art photo. Great work!
I've been inspired by your wispy water photos along the coastal areas. I'm a far distance from the oceans here in middle America but have been finding some suitable locations along the shores of the Great Lakes. We had 9 foot waves on Lake Michigan last week. Can also use your technique capturing the rapids and rifles on the many rivers and streams we have around here.
Beautiful sunrise and I love the minimalism, just what's needed when feeling down. I've never really been interested in black and white but you've made me think I'll have to experiment and get up early lol.
I've photographed the groynes at Happisburgh a number of times but your images just always seem to capture something special. Really great to see you have the same excitement and enthusiasm for a subject like that away from the more dramatic mountains and fells of the north. This has definitely inspired me to go back to Happisburgh again with a different perspective.
Did you make your own flask of hot drink for this outing and if so what did you put in it? asking for a friend because I've never seen someone so happy to get wet feet. Another inspiring video keep up the good work Gary!
Of your last two fine art images I thought the vertical image was better on the last shot. The far post looked more straight in line with the object in the foreground.
Top quality......better than TV.
I recon image No 2 is the one I like best.
Cheers Terry 👍👍
Hi Gary! It’s not only your photography which is breathtakingly good but your enthusiasm as well, we need more people like you in this world.
well put..... I watch Garrt's videos to get me back in the mood for taking photos. I love his energy and dedication
Gary, your excitement is so engaging. I love that you play at what you create like a curious child. Thanks for sharing your visions
For anyone else giggling at 9:27 and many other times in this lovely video.
"groin: a low wall or sturdy barrier built out into the sea from a beach to check erosion and drifting."
😁😁 Cheers 👍👍

Definitely worth getting your feet wet Gary and what fabulous clouds at the start. Out of you 2 fine art I really like the last one, superb 👍🏽
I think the 18 minute mark of unpacking a fully packed kit just for one last shot you happen to see on your way out summarizes 90% of my print worthy shots. Such a pain re setup and unpack but you rarely regret it.
lol it's always the way 😁😁 Cheers 👍👍
My favourite is the last image with the leading line.
Thanks Vivienne 👍👍
Thank you for showing us your pictures!
My pleasure!! 👍👍

Absolutely stunning, Gary. I just love your enthusiasm!
Hi Gary: Love your images and your enthusiasm! It would be nice to see them in the winter on a really cold day with ice!!
That would be cool! Thanks Susan 👍👍
Thanks Gary you keep on giving. Such an inspiration. Love your humour and enthusiasm. Who cares about wet feet eh, your socks will dry.😂
Out of the last two images it's the single marker post for me 👍
Stunning photos 👌📷

Agree that bit of old metal with the distant object makes a very good image --- worth getting the camera out again .

Great suggestion but I wouldn't trust myself with them. They'd fill up with water and I'd be worse off 😁😁
😂😂 yip, been down that road before 🙈
Another great video Gary
Your images and videos are extraoedinary, but most I like how you transport your excitement and happiness for your passion. Thank you very much!!
