I'm glad to see the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens promoted in a video. I am using them as an alternative to Copics for coloring my stamped images, critters and such :) Your card looks great !
Oh my GOODNESS Nina, this is absolutely STUNNING! Oh how gorgeous! I totally need some stamps of this size, all of my floral stamps are too small! Love those Pitt markers too! They look delicious! LOL Beautifully done!
Thanks for this video tutorial. I learned so much...from layering color with the gelatos to adding detail/shading with the various media as well as restamping the image when all is done. Can't wait to use these techniques.
I love the Pitt artist pens for many things....but i have just a handful gelatos and only played with them a few times. This gives a new inspiration to try some more.
Hey Nina....just have to say that this card is soooo pretty! I don't own any of the Gelatos, yet LOL, as I still have other mediums in my stash to try, but you've convinced me to get some of these when the time is right. TFS Nina
So beautiful Nina Marie!!! Love all your tips, thanks for sharing this masterpiece ! Definitely putting that stamp and some of the other items you used on my wish list.
You are so good! I just watched this for a second time before I'm about to try my gelatos. I'm finally feeling brave enough thanks to you. Thanks so much. I'm just doing backgrounds to put some lettering projects on the top of, but I'm so nervous. I have never tried gesso board before but I'm giving it a go too.
If I was you, I would FRAME this piece of art work you created, giving it a matting to match this gorgeous life-like flower. Better yet, just mail it to me & I will give it a GREAT place on my wall. lol 💜💜💜💜💜
And I thought Gelato was a type of ice cream :). You make no line coloring look so easy. Maybe its like anything else you have to practice. I did the SSS June card kit no line coloring and my results looked um, terrible. With your inspiration videos, I will keep trying. Thanks for sharing these gelatos. I promise I wont eat them or put them in the freezer :)
I have never used gelato and currently they are not on my list although this is the most stunning card I have ever seen! Superior job and thank you for showing this awesome technique!
Thank you!!! I loved your video today! I have been looking for ideas to use my gelatos lately. Your video was excellent and I hope you do more videos on the gelatos. (-:
Yes, you can use a palette, even your craft surface. I just rub my Gelatos directly onto my Ranger craft sheet and watercolor with them in that way. In fact, there are numerous watercolor videos (old videos) featuring the Gelatos in which the crafters rub them directly onto a laminated palette or their craft mat. Nina is the first person I've ever seen rub them onto a piece of scrap card stock.
Your waterbrush looks a lot better than mine. I didn´t see it in your list - could you tell me, which waterbrush you use here, please !? Thanks a lot - also for your video - and lots of Love from Germany !
You are very talented. NEVER in my life would I ever be able to duplicate what you did. Enjoyed watching, beautiful artwork.
Never say never! Keep practicing and watching inspiration!
This is STUNNING! Well done, Nina-Marie!!
This was a demo on how to use gelatos. Also learned about the no-line ink and Pitt pens. The card was beautiful. Thank you.
Gorgeous!
Such a beautiful card. I absolutely love your water coloring. Tfs. Katie♡

what a pretty card must get the dust off my gelatos, do you mind sharing what brand your aquapainter is??
Karen Rogers, you may have missed it, but she mentioned at the very beginning that it was also made by Faber-Castell.
thanks Sandy I did miss that
Nice job. I didn't know the Gelatos could be so pale.
super quality
does water from the brush not ruin the scratch paper and gelato. could I use a palette?

Too much obvious product promotion. Boycott Simon Says Stamp for their predatory pricing.
Beautiful!
