Matteo now is not a surprise. From years he's recognized by greatest guitarists and musicians world level as one of most complete, interesting, innovative and rich of musicality guitarist of entire world.
And he can improve and grow...
Every time I see Mancuso, I'm just blown away. He is world class. In ten years he'll take his place on top of the heap.
He is otherworld class
He's already there
What I don't understand is all the people around him chatting or walking on by, rather than being transfixed by Matteo's playing. I mean really, this is just riveting stuff!
Absolutely true
That’s because those people are stupid.
I agree. But its name. Not everyone realizes who it is or is into that genre specifically. Also it’d be impossible to really see all the crazy talent at that show. Bound to miss some lol
because its namm
Thank you! Those two guys in the back were oblivious weren’t they? It’s a namm show so there has to be some awareness of how insanely good this is. Bugs me. My friend was a pro skater and long ago Dani Harrison invited my friends skate team to stay at his house. With George there. My friend was too young and didn’t know the Beatles. Maybe George enjoyed the lack of fawning but was I ever jealous.
Amazing musician!!!
Is the best guitar player on earth
Phenomenally good. What a talent, and joy to listen to his musicality while being dazzled by his virtuosity.
My goal is to one day go to NAMM and only play the main riff of Smoke on the Water in my booth. Just to see what happens.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤟🤟🤟🤟
👍😅
Deep purple will file a lawsuit and you'll regret it 😂
Mike dude :-)
Too complicate...
Mostruoso❤
Phenomenal! What's the name of this song?
Daje Matteo
...and all that on a baritone. His chops are awesome, but I really love his musicality.
Dude is such a killer player.
mostruosità compa :)
Man casually shredding with Robert Plant and Rick Beato in the background!👍🏾💯👏🏾👏🏾✊🏾🔥💣🎸🤘🏾🔥🔥😂
And Mark fucking Lettieri!
Don't forget pedro pascal
With a poster of Allen Iverson in the background
They look similar but only from afar. They are not who you say they are.
That's not Rick Beato. That's Matteo's father.
My favorite guitarist! Wow~
Matteo is easily the number one ! ♥️😽🙏
I agree! It’s easy for him to be the number one!!
at trade shows..
He is great, but not no 1. what is wrong with you>?
Music is different, is not like ATP charts. 1st, 2nd....no sense. Everyone has his own style and personality
@@consulentecomunicazionestr3072No. Matteo is a perfect guitar Player PLUS he has outstanding muscality, more than any other of the super players
Still no one knows what this track us and if it can be heard for real somewhere? Or at some point?
Incredible!
fantastic
What song?
......just absolutely.....masterfully done sir, my word, from your other worldly looping, to your absolute skill (from the HIMALAYAS), to what sounds like your musical instrument digital interface work seamlessly woven into your playing......my word you are completely impressive on sooooo many levels.........just......A++ If talent, skill, chops (for years) means anything, you should be a multimillionaire, if not today, then....tomorrow for sure.....my word, that was really well done sir. Please be well.
Unfortunately guitar today have a little space into actual music. Everything is played by electronics, computers, soon maybe AI.
If MM was born 60 years ago, now he would be a massive world star
Fantastic!!
I could watch this guy play all day long.. Simply awesome.
nice ! very tasty music
NAMM 2023, Matteo's coming out party.
Absolutely the best!!!!! No one is really even close!
If you only know Guthrie Govan is beyond him
@@randrhommeoalarcon1868 please say to GG if he can play this :

@@randrhommeoalarcon1868doesn't stand a chance against the mighty Matteo ☝️😁
You believe in demi Gods I believe in God's 😊
@@randrhommeoalarcon1868 nonsense. You should admire those who can create Beauty you can't. Isn't it talent given away by God ? There is hierarchy everywhere.
Dio! Italian Proud.
Awsome!!!
I just ordered his cd.
I can’t wait to hear it in HiFi.
I hope he tours America 🙏🏽
He was at the NAMM Show in 2023. I hope he's there again at the 2024 Show in January
Il migliore!!!!
Thank you for posting this. Is that a baritone guitar he is playing? I saw him in another video jamming with Al DiMeola and he held his own effortlessly. I don't know who was his guitar teacher but he sure deserves a lot of credit because this young man is as solid as they come.
He started playing guitar with his father Vincenzo at the age of 10 and got onto a stage to play live, at 12. He went on to study classical guitar in high school in Palermo and later graduated in jazz guitar from the Palermo Conservatory of Music.
Matteo puls out the hippest lines seemingly effortlessly. I love this! Anyone know the name of the Tune? Please tell me it is something he’ll release soon
Grande Matteo!!!
THE GRANNY IN THE BACKGROUND 🤩
Grande Matteo, adorohhhhhhhhh
So good.
Amazing performance, I loved the Paul gilbert lick 2:48 !
Funky cold medina bro , love that flashy slash man kr
Amazing Mancuso Props dude
I keep watching this video over and over as it is so compelling, even inspiring to an old guitarist like myself. He is very fresh and has great technique, phrasing, sound, and melody.
Is he playing an open tuning or a drop tuning? Is that a baritone guitar that is tuned low? Lots of new things and challenges to consider and understand! I hope success doesn't spoil him!
GOAT!
Matteo's bringing back the NO TATTOOS look! That needs to come back!
What a great talented dude here...!!! 🤘👍
Bravo....pezzo bellissimo
Just amazing ... looks like Plant on the back !
Awesome! sounds like something by Steve Vai!
Even the open air sound is cool. Matteo's tone and vibrato brings back fond memories of Bill Connors. But Lyon & Healy? Their harps are the world's standard. I have an old Story & Clark baby grand piano whose case was built by Lyon & Healy. I can see why Lyon & Healy used the Lyre as the motif for their guitar. The sound is amazing. I look forward to hearing it in the studio. I'll see if I can track it down here on RUclips.
Bill Connors! Find memories indeed
He can make any guitar sound good.
And to think he is not even close to really playing some of his more complex stuff is amazing. Matteo is going to go far in the music world big-time.
He is one of the best period
He's simply a real musician. Not appearance. He is what you see
maybe more trade shows... He is great but this is his future. it is not going any further. everyone needs a paycheck. too many great players and not enough nerds buying guitar music. As great as he is, .. nothing other than his right hand is that unique. It's all been heard.
@@morbidmanmusicthis is what makes musicians like Matteo inspiring, they didn’t get into music to make bucks, it’s an irresistible obsession with the instrument that drives their passion. This is what people should value in musicians.
He ain't no Paul Gilbert, but I know you're here for 2:47 (of course I'm only saying this because of someones account name :)
Oh…..my…….goodness…..me……oh……my………😮
AMAZING PLAYER!
0:57 nice of Robert Plant to stop by.
Sicilian proud 💪🏼
plays sweeter than cannoli di ricotta👍🏻
genius
Wtf was that solo??? Amazing
Exactly ☝️👍🏻
Matteo + Tosin. MAKE IT HAPPEN, UNIVERSE.
Tosin is also a fan afaik :)
🔥
Oh my god
🤟🤟
1:40 Rick Beato and Robert Plant in the background? 😂
LOL
show impersonators.
That reminds me casiopea
Hes crazy 😂
So this is how it felt back then watching Mozart play
People walking there are not even paying attention, 'Pearls before swine'.
Exactly. This fact demonstrate level of interest in music today. And in the NAMM the audience would be qualified...If MM would born 60 years ago, now he would be a massive world star.
Today, I hope he will can live a normal life making music
Yeah? so invent a new instrument - 60 years of shredding what’s to celebrate man? God I’m so tired of all these scale jockeys!
God
Rick Beato and Robert Plant in the background
not them. sorry.
The Beastest!!! The other aspect of matteo that is impressive is his clean looks which is a standout among musicians who present themselves different from the others. Matteo looks more as an executive without the guitar. Changing the superficial does not do anything good because the substance of the talent is shown in the performance. Matteo is God's gift to humanity.😎
Maestro Genius from Planet Utopia! Thanks for visiting us plebs!
E' tornato Gesu'....
💪🏻🇮🇪
I’m selling all my guitars . Daaaam
I feel like that after every NAMM Show!!
There's a new kid in town
Since 2/3 years is arrived in town
Name of the tune ?
The guy in the background looks like Robert Plant.
I was thinking the same thing.
robert plant admiring in the back
no
😆
What's the title of the tune guys?
Please teach kirk hammett how to play
Anybody know the guitar and model?
Bacci guitar Leonardo Funk Machine dual output
He'd do a great jam with Mark Lettieri.
What! they don't sell picks in Italy??
In Italy we (him) created a new revolutionary right hand technique UNIQUE IN THE WORLD 😉
He doesn't need one.😊
Matteo seems to be choosing the right notes. Many people have advanced technical ability but just don’t seem to choose notes that matter.
Hendrix for instance had a genius ability to choose the right notes and even today his compositions still resonate, especially with guitarists.
Matteo is obviously an outstanding guitar player, and I hear great promise in what he chooses to play.
This guy manages 😅
What guitar is that??
Bacci guitar Leonardo Funk Machine (dual output: standard and bass)
A lovely one
I prefer tour sound with Yamaha guitars Matt......
Che chitarra è?
Ci sono le risposte in altri commenti. Una chitarra baritona Bacci guitars
Mind's just be blown, I'm off to sell my Tele and buy a Ducati.....
few people listening....What a pity
Literally Davie 504’s guitar playing twin
cange pusher
He’s almost as good as Richard Benson 😮
Awesome … when you don’t need a bass player
NAMM! None As Matteo Mancuso!! 😜😜
sick mf
But can he play voodoo child
He plays it backwards in F#M
lo suona mentre dorme
He plays Everything
I just wonder how much better he would play with a plectrum
He never uses (and don't want) a pick. He plays better WITHOUT. Because, with his innovative technique, it's like if he would play with 4 picks, not one. Infinite possibilities more than a pick.
You can see the results.
he wouldn't. Plus you can play much more, faster and cleaner with fingers.
Worse
God it’s terribly boring all been done by three generations of electric guitarists already. Noodleisimo!
