I think it's great that you're continuing to use the small simple pallet. I've been semi binge watching watercolor videos for the last week, making a tiny six color pallet for a granddaughter. I see so many artists using huge pallets of colors and the interesting pretty little sketches you complete in an afternoon. I had to laugh, one was packing more weight than a prepper getting ready for the apocalypse. Keep it simple.
OK, I should apologize for that last part. I started going through the art supplies I haven't used in years and realized I can probably fill a backpack. Add a tripod and something to sit on, yeah. So all of you who do pack heavy, I'm sorry if I offended you.
Hey just wanted to say I really like you style and your videos. I'm a acrylic miniature painter, but the weather's so nice I wanted to try some watercolor outside. I've watched several watercolor artists on RUclips. I just wanted to say even tho I saw you and you look 17, your videos and the way you present to camera is super professional. Thanks so much for your help learning the medium
Thank you Darlene! Lately I've been thinking a lot about the "ideal" of being an active artist (painting majestic places, for example) and the reality that most of us don't automatically see our own environment as very inspiring. But regular practice is how we get better! So sometimes we have to put a little effort into finding inspiration :)
The cutest palette ever. Love this idea. I might draw and paint my art table. Or my window sill full of craft supplies. Hmmmm thinking now..thanks for this great tute. I like the tiramisu dessert. Your take on the candle and mug of coffee is so colorful and fall like. Love it

Thank you Marlene!
I really love these, using a primary palette. I'm going to do that - it's a way to stretch, to learn the basics.
Yes, keeping it simple helps you to grasp the medium much faster and with the most ease :)
How do you do so many amazing sketches with a waterbrush? Teach us please! I find them very hard to control, I don’t know if I’m using them wrong
Thanks!
