I am always so scared to go back and add a glaze to change the tone of an area, but it was exactly right for this piece. I am going to have to get brave and do glazing more often.
Any time I feel nervous about something, I test it out in my sketchbook or on a scrap paper. Eventually, you become very comfortable with glazing once you understand the impact it will make :)
