Tense Only What Is Needed

  • Make sure your workouts is not contributing towards more tightness and tension in your body.
Traditional ways of doing strength training, increases tension in your body, which restricts, energy and blood flow. Even though you are benefiting from becoming stronger, you decrease in circulation and range of motion. In my opinion, it is not worth the sacrifice .
You must learn how to strengthen your body by tensing only what is needed and staying as relax as possible. Have patience. Your body may take some time to adjust to this way of exercise. It’s not about the exercise ultimately. The bigger picture is you are re-programming your body to learn how to relax all the time.
You are reprogramming your body how to constantly be in a state of calm and surrender so this way, whatever emotional triggers happen, you don’t hold onto them and release them immediately. via @mikechangofficial

This is exactly the approach recommended by Maxick and Saldo in their system "Maxalding", released 1909, as far as I know. It s a health-first approach. They stressed that the relaxation of the muscle is as important as the tension. Thanks for reminding us, Mike❤

I did your floor sleeping and the first night. is. hard. I couldn't get deep sleep. I stopped 4 hours into the night and went back to my 20-year-old, spring-coil, matress bed. I could feel a difference. I don't have a verdict on it. You did say it takes a few weeks. I was pretty zombie-fied in the morning from only half a night sleeping on the floor. Also, did you use a pillow? Or is your face also on the floor?
