I completely agree. I do feel diabetes has given Brent more insight than most into what direct response specific foods have on hisbody due how how conscience he has to be to ingredients. He's had to look at labels since he was little.

I love that he spices up his morning oats. I do a similar thing with mine every morning. A little sweet isn’t going to kill your in the off-season. It actually helps give you a better pump. I use protein oats, granola, a little bit of agave nectar, egg whites, milk and honey roasted peanut butter. Easy 1300+ cal first thing in the morning before my workout.

He’s also the first person I’ve ever heard shout out G Hughes sauces. They’re amazing as far as healthy sauces go.

Heck yeah, having your own gym equipment is awesome, I finally at almost 40 years old have some of my own equipment that was given to me. I wish I would have had it years ago when I was bodybuilding in my early twenties. But at least I have it now. It's nice to be able to go use your weights and nobody in your way unless you have kids lol

I like his view on cardio. I'm also a fan of tactical hypertrophy. Which is just a fancy buzz word term for slowly progressing endurance and cardio health along with hour lifts. I no longer really care for size, I just way super healthy and focus on cardio with my lifts.

Sweet Baby Rays No Sugar Added is 15 calories per serving, and 3 servings is a huge amount when you weight it. Most people will probably do 1.5 servings. 22 calories...
Important question, it says online that the body can only absorb 20-25 grams of protein every 1.5-2 hours so isn't a lot of the protein that big guys like this eat actually just going to waste and not being absorbed?

This is a great meal for AM training- super fast digestion so you don't feel super heavy during your session.
Can you give a breakdown like how many grams of granola, etc? Breakfast is my hardest thing to get down
