Thank you for talking about mental health. It’s an overlooked issue, especially for men. Doesn’t have to be fitness related, could be not feeling like living up to your own image of being a man or father. Speak up!
For sure, it’s pretty difficult for me sometimes especially going from a cut to a bulking phase in my case. So to see pros taking about this stuff and getting into a more positive headspace makes me hopeful
@@FDT222 Body dysphmorphia like this can sort of be bad but people overreact on it. If you want to discuss something more, discuss alcoholism and drug addiction especially with fentanyl coming in through the border (because you know who doesn't give a crap about it and ignores it). Gotta be one of my fav episodes u guys have posted. Austin seems like a great guy n love his outlook on online coaching. But that Poke bowl, wasn't really a Poke bowl 🤣🤣 it doesn't come with veggies/fruits, except green onions/regular onions depending what kinda Poke u get.
I gotta ask.. what the hell is eel sauce!! His second meal had a little bit of everything, and it looked like it had some weight to it! I love these videos because even though the majority of them feature chicken and rice, they all offer different food combinations that will keep you wanting more! 🤜🤛 M.S.
A tip to all bodybuilders despite me not being one, opt for avocado or olive oil sprays instead of PAM; canola oil and the propellants in PAM are too inflammatory. Unfortunately, I don't do well even with whey isolate protein powders, so I stick to whole foods; I don't trust vegan protein powders or meal replacements although there are a few promising on the market. From a health point of view, sushi is indeed better than other "cheat" meals; never had it because I am certain I'd have to eat a whole lot of it like Austin here with this bowl. I am a tahini freak ha-ha. Austin looks cool, I wish him wholeheartedly all the best in his bodybuilding journey; he already has the mentality for it and it's in his hands to achieve his dreams :).
Butter and honey are becoming more common in diets - most in the past avoid them most likely to being on low fat diets (mainly from nut butter and meat) . How much butter do you normally have ?
@@muscleandstrength You definitely wouldn't need much butter. I know Austin said 10g at night which caught me off guard because yeah most BB's don't seem to use it. The calories and fat adds up quick though just like oil so you'd have to be careful. I just like it to cook my eggs or maybe a tiny bit in the chicken on the stove top. Honey is amazing! Great anti bacterial and never expires.
Real butter is excellent for you. It contains MCT's as well. 14 grams of butter is 11 grams of fat, which is less than the same amount of other fat sources such as olive oil.
Interesting, I consume 4500 kcal daily just to maintain my weight, and I'm not even a professional bodybuilder or using performance-enhancing drugs. I always assumed pros would need a lot more calories than that.
Really just depends on the individual . I was working with Ryan Terry years back and he was telling me how much more he ate than William Bonac- William had about 40 lbs more muscle on his frame and was holding it with a 3k calorie diet .
SIs with AWD, built K series motors, boosted, and all the other fixings are tops…. much cheaper to build than overpriced European makes… as well as much meaner because of power to weight ratio.
When he said "get healthy after a show"...showing that these figures that they work so hard for are SHOW figures, not healthy everyday figures. Professionals like this do this for their industry, not to be a pinnacle of health.
Does @AustinEspy think, that he is pushing body dysmorphea when he Is always lean? I saw some fitness RUclipsr, showing his morning form (flat) and then after workout looking full and pumped. Telling viewers that his pictures was always after a workout and tons of carbs. He knew he was wrong, but had to tell that even a top athlete looked flat in the morning and had days where he hated going to the gym. Just like Goggins, who hates running, he still runs, but we don’t have to, they are top athletes living of their form. We are normal people, trying to be healthy. Be healthy, both in body and mind.
He's on stuff, but you could get to his lshape natural. He's not a crazy mass monster open that pushes 260lb+ at like 5% body fat. Lmao. But if you want it natural, it takes a lot longer and it's obviously just more difficult. These guys don't want to hit their peak to win shows at 30-35 so they'll use. But natural and be at Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler's level? Hell no. LOL
im sorry- steak and olive oil 30 mins pre workout? does this guy or his coach know anything about digestion at all? great content otherwise and seems like a great guy but this just threw me off. u want low fat that close to a lift and even if the steak is lean, its not gonna be digested in 30 mins....
Thank you guys so much for the awesome video and coverage!! So excited to keep progressing in this sport!! 🤝🔥
You deserve an ESPY

I am glad someone is talking about the body dysmorphia that’s associated with the sport. This is a topic that needs to be spoken on more.
I agree 100% - was very happy to cover that.
@@muscleandstrength do you find that most people you interviewed duck that topic or is it just not casually spoken about?

Glad to see him talking about mental health issues, I’m sure he’ll be helping a lot of people going thru the same thing 💪
For sure- it was something I have been battling for years. Def not an easy thing to deal with.
No body dysmorphia no sport?
He speaking some real ish….. I like this guy
Genuine guy. I like Austin . The way he talks about his experience
8:19 - The way he opens the door and shouts then laughs with glee seriously made my day. What a cool guy.
Lol for sure 😃
I like these longer format full day of eating compared to the short ones

He's real. Sounds humble too. I like him !
I love the fact he included mental health because that very important 🙏🏼
It sure is- thanks for commenting we really appreciate it!
This is really nice to have psyche in a M&S video. It is important for people to understand that body dysmorphia is real… Not acting or pretending.
Absolutely- really enjoyed that talk.
Sitting in front of his laptop like he gotta do some lol

I’ve thought about blending my own rice, have to start doing it now.
Cream of rice - peanut butter, cocoa, honey, and strawberries.
The savings are huge. Cream of Rice is very expensive, if I ate it regularly i'd do this as well!

I guess anyone can be a coach online nowadays, back in the day to be a coach u would need years and years of experience.
Beautiful car Austin
Not afraid to talk about the mental side of the sport.
Very important topic.
Best protein bar for daibatic patient..plz suggest
Oh yea
I don't know if it is just me but it seems like every bodybuilder on RUclips lives in Tampa.

Why are bodybuilders so afraid of real butter? You only need a tiny bit and it can count towards their fat macros :D

very funny, anyone who does "bodybuilding" or thinks they does, they magically become online teacher 😇
Austin really goes the extra mile for his clients, his business is growing because of that.

17:00 I'M A CAT-MAN TOO.😍🙏
I know his got a girlfriend but I was still not expecting the volume of cats
Lol!!
i know cream of rice is the shit. But can i substitute it for cream of wheat? Its enriched anyways...
If you don’t have any intolerances to gluten then I don’t see why not
SIs with AWD, built K series motors, boosted, and all the other fixings are tops…. much cheaper to build than overpriced European makes… as well as much meaner because of power to weight ratio.
You can do whatever you want to older hondas. Still a shitbox compared to something newer and better
It's a ton of work to maintain a build like that though lol if you aren't into it as a hobby it can be a pain.
I’ll take a 30k 10 second 1/4 mile SI any day over a 100+k car.
Try again, belvadork.
Did he only eat 2 eggs for breakfast for his protein? 12 grams of protein?
He does that and then has a shake about an hour that we labeled as a snack. I believe the actual meal is both the whey and eggs he just splits it
Ohh m&s stayed with u till your last meal it's been so surprising thing beacuse many time they don't
😂😂😂😂
