Love adding avocado to my chicken and rice bowls as well. Sometimes I'll add pepperoni pizza, Pepper M.D and ice cream to the meal as well. Tasty and keeps the body guessing lol
@@muscleandstrength i remember that video, another reason I love this channel is the knowledge being spread from competitors to fans like myself. Have a good day
Yep, i do the same. That’s a Stan efferding idea From the vertical diet when b Shaw followed it. That and adding a ton of raw baby spinach is an easy way to get your greens in with a hot bowl of chicken and rice and broth. So easy to digest and on the tummy lol
Bone broth in particular bumps up the nutrition, collagen & protein. Not a ton, but say you eat rice twice a day, you can get like 12 oz of broth, 12g of protein absorbed right into the rice.
The tendon runs all the way through the tenderloin; that little hangy part is where you want to pinch then use the teeth of a fork to pull down the tenderloin to get the whole tendon. It kind of splits the tendon, but it makes it for a much more pleasant eating experience.
Speed up cook time: roast your veggies in the oven, tastes better too. Also before seasoning any meat, pat it down with paper towel and then season before dropping into the pan (or air fryer in his case)
I made this today. Delicious…. I don’t have those sauces so I used Primal kitchen avocado lime and some habanero hot sauce. Definitely making this again
The food choices will help yes but, also when consuming as many calories as bodybuilders do, it's ideal to have digestive enzymes and keep it all regular to get to your next meal based off metabolism and digestion.
Pro rice tip from a guy living in Asia: Buy rice in large amounts from Asian markets. Make large batches of rice in the rice cooker. When it's done put the write in plastic wrap and store them in the freezer, then microwave one by one as you eat. Using this method I only make rice once a week for 2 people.
i love how there is always to type of bodybuildings the ones that eat some plain boring stuff for the macros and the ones that put a lot of effort hahaha
Try noodles with chicken. We hardly ever see bodybuilders eating noodles. Weird. Maybe they bloat some of them which is understandable but it's a nice change up from rice.
The sauces he used had a fairly sweet spicy kick - you can use any sauce you choose but just be mindful of the macro ratios. Some sauces contain a fair amount of fat so calories creep up fast.
Make sure you don't leave that rice sitting out too long after cooking or you can end up with no arms and legs because of the bacteria that grows in rice once you cook it.
Honestly this video felt like an ad for the sauces. Just a regular bland chicken and rice recipe to hype up the "strong" sauces... Come on M & S you guys usually do better!
Well this sauce company has zero affiliation with the video so sorry that all you took away from the video. We aren’t going to stop an athlete from using a brand they enjoy and incorporate into their daily diet .
@muscleandstrength I didn't say you were affiliated with the brand. I insinuated that he is obviously making money from promoting the brand since he even had an affiliate code to share and kept on subliminally advertising the brand. I was just pointing that we are used to a better quality of videos on this channel, not another bland "chicken & rice use my sauce" video we see elsewhere. Anyways, I love your channel. If you struggle with constructive criticism, do as you wish, and I will keep on watching nonetheless.

Finally, a chicken and rice recipe that actually looks really good! Good call on the sauerkraut as well, too many people sleep on it.
Really nice to keep a big cache of fermented foods lying around, pretty low calorie and super easy to do at home
Glad you enjoyed the video thanks for the comment man!

Adding broth to the rice also adds a bunch of flavor to the meal, excellent video!
The broth was something I picked up when we filmed with Brian Shaw a few years ago- definitely a great tip

@@sniinn yes! I believe Stan was doing all of his nutrition at the time and it improved a lot of things for him.

Damn. One of the most intelligent guys ive seen on this channel. The guys gold.
He's awesome! Taken a lot of advice from his coach Chris Tuttle who we also featured on the channel!
The tendon runs all the way through the tenderloin; that little hangy part is where you want to pinch then use the teeth of a fork to pull down the tenderloin to get the whole tendon. It kind of splits the tendon, but it makes it for a much more pleasant eating experience.
Ohhh good to know! So you split the tenderloin in half by completely removing it?
Speed up cook time: roast your veggies in the oven, tastes better too. Also before seasoning any meat, pat it down with paper towel and then season before dropping into the pan (or air fryer in his case)
Also valid tips thanks for the input!
Protein-packed and tasty - Jordan's chicken and rice meal is a winner for bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts!
Eating well. Great to see health conscious choices 👌

I love primal kitchen avocado lime sauce!

Eat the tendons everyone! It's filled with nutrition. Sauté it with bone broth.
This is news to me!!!

CHICKEN N RICE YEAH
Awesome 😊😊😊
I need to make this ❤
Just waiting for my sweet papi sauce and flavor don sauce and I'm in business. Can't wait to try this recipe looks super super good.
That sweet papi sauce is honestly one of the best sauces i've had in awhile. You barely need any to make your entire meal taste great lol
How we meassured proteinn ? Meat after cook or meet before cook ?
Either works just be consistent with that method
This guy is on the juice for sure
We show him using the sauce for sure
Natty
Sauerkraut is sooooo good for you. Also it’s tasty!
Not sure how many top body builders do this but would be cool to see if you could film at a local farmers market or butcher shop for meat
That would be cool thanks for the suggestion!
1:28 to me this is a average size zucchini with a nice personality! 😅
😂😂
You looks to eat clean, train dirty. 🙌
Try the raw sauerkraut from Costco. It’s much better than that stuff that is cooked down.
Try noodles with chicken. We hardly ever see bodybuilders eating noodles. Weird. Maybe they bloat some of them which is understandable but it's a nice change up from rice.
Another alternative to sauerkraut is kimchi 😎
Oh nice thanks for the tip!
Kumsahammyyydahhh
I rinse my rice
❤for🇮🇳pro😊👊
1:25 Tiny? I mean, I would say it's fair sized, right guys? Right???
😁
C'mon man that zucchini is a perfectly average size right...right?

I am watching this video with eating chicken and rice😂
Sounds about right to me lol ❤

Lol best chicken and rice meals cooked on m&s?
@@muscleandstrength i would love that lol make it happen XD

Why did you not eat the whole avocado ?
Fancy chicken & rice
Haha yes sure is!
People sleep on Sams.
How different is it than costco?
No BB washes his rice
Some guys do but it isn't as common that's for sure.
It bothers me that wayyy too many people (and bodybuilders) do NOT rinse their rice 😡
😮😮
❤👀👀👀
I’m here
We appreciate it!
Guys what are the substitutes for these sauces he's using for third world countries?

Even if it’s refrigerated ?
bro... you have to rinse all that e coli / salmonella juice off the chicken first
Yummy Good.
Zucchini is a fruit btw
So much rice 😂 seems like ratio of rice to chicken is off 😅
lol it is a good bit of rice but for him it's a regular portion of carbs!
sauerkraut in the bag is actually better
😊Danny vanezlf
Lost me with the sour Kraus
Lol same but I’ll try it!!
Kids rinse your rise.
THIS GUY MAY BE THE MOST BORING INDIVIDUAL OF ALL TIME

Jasmines rices is white rice duh.
No it's not actually. It's a different species of rice.
Long grain ,jasmine , basmati all "white" but definitely different.
