    I respect you guys for being really patient and persistent with these drift builds, even when things don't pan out the way you'd hoped! This is off topic - when you went to VMAX event with your supercharged R8 in your Dedicationblog channel days, i'm sure the atmosphere was A LOT different to what it was in yesterday's vmax200 event, where there was a proper fist fight between two car youtubers of LivingLifeFast and DMO Dee Jay 😂

      Haha yeah vmax was great when we went but I saw a video clip of the fight there today and looks ridiculous. Also saw vmax put a post up afterwards saying they're going to make it a lot stricter now on who gets in

    I know its alot but with your experience in this I would suggest cutting wheel wells and just go full tube chassis with the 370 it will give you more room for lines and repairs as well as stronger lighter car less metal keeping heat

    • @ChrisDrift

      Yeah definitely doing some tube work at the front and probably the rear too

    I know you don't, but I miss your brz and your r8, also I'm not watching for the turbo build, more for the dry sense of humor, o maybe look into painting with steel-it. Its paint you can weld on.

    Looking forward to the winter build! Started watching your vids during the 86 days, ended up with a Zed 2 years ago, and looking forward to the progress you make! Hope the 350 lives another day in some way. :)

    Superb video Chris 👌🏼. After removing so many 350z engines myself I could feel your pain. Can't beat dropping sockets into the sludge bucket 😂. Your whitty remarks cheered up my monday morning that's for sure. Keep it up buddy 😎

      To be fair most of the engines I take out are blown anyway but I don't see any damage using the straps. Plus I've not even tried to use the welder I bought over a years ago 😝

    my god you take on some seriously complex builds. i remember years ago you took the 86 to fensport for the turbo fitting and now look! doing that shit yourself. are you getting rid of the 350 now?

    • @ChrisDrift
      @ChrisDrift  3 года назад

      haha yeah I remember those days too. Much more fun doing it yourself eh :) Not sure exactly what I'm doing with the 350 but yeah probably sell it as a rolling shell with no engine at some point. We'll see

      @@ChrisDrift actually remember you saying you dont like old cars and i think now we are in 2020, the 350 is a bit dated. Still a good car and the 370 is still old school itself but just that bit more modern, lighter, and much better at handling, especially the nismo 370 which impressed me loads. I think you made the right choice moving on from the 350.
      Lol those days were when i first got my own 86 in my mid 20s and thought it was fast as hell, coming from a previous slow car. All the memories of modding it, remapping and summer drive outs coming back now. Your vids helped with the work i did on mine back then, with modding and repairing things 👍
