This song captures the feel of Woodfall perfectly.
A massive temple in the centre of this huge rainforest, with a cursed god resting in its depths. With the cursed god, the land is cursed, threatening the people of the forest and the wildlife. The song captures the 'cursed god' feel perfectly.

usually remixes aren't as good as the original, but this...THIS SURPASSES the original song by the miles! D: it is outstanding!!!
Well, I wouldn't go that far. I agree it's fantastic & better than the original in a lot of ways, but the original also had this really cool, psychedelic, distorted bass beat to it that is very characteristic of many of the songs of the game. And that's what made it so good.

I'm blown AWAY by how good this is. Especially the ending, hearing the clock chime... Reminds me of when I played through this dungeon for the first time, hearing the dungeon music but also having that nagging yet ominous reminder of time passing. Sent chills. Beautiful.
Let's give props to the only individual who attempted a Woodfall Temple remix and on top of that, succeeding. I still get chills when the Temple vocals comes in at 1:56.

Oh my god the SOUNDS. It's so crisp and high quality. And it's so immersive! It's really sucks you right into the level and makes you feel like you're there. Like you're Link. Beautiful, outstanding work.
I've grown so accustomed to this version that the original sounds lackluster in comparison. Everything about this is so lively!

this remix managed to transform what was already a pretty cool theme into something they could easily sample from if they decided to do another legends of the hidden temple series.
i like how in the end of the song you can hear link opening the keyhole with the boss key and enter to the boss room

I listen to this once, and then the rhythm is engraved on my brain and I can't get rid of it. And then I end up listening to it over and over and over and it doesnt get old for weeks!

@@dimasik514 Genre? It's a tribal-style music. South pacific Islander tribal music may be the closest allegory. I know the creator cited a source of inspiration but I don't remember what it was and I can't find the quote anymore. That said, it's tribally *influenced*, not true tribal music.

@@blakopft2386 If it makes you feel any better, the confusion about Quetzalcoatl caused me to brush up slightly on my understanding of such matters. Turns out the Mayans had at least 160+ and probably more like 200 gods (none of whom are Quetzalcoatl, of course).

Sounds like New Adventures of the Time Machine PC game (2001) Cryo Interactive. Look it up someone did a half job of the soundtrack though left out some really good tracks but the majority were had. This theme has very strong resembling to Rebel Camp song. At the rebel camp taking some fire whiskey will make the character "drunk" though all it does is invert the controls for a bit.
Brings light to the definition of "Theophany" next is "Titanomachy" my friend. Great job
