pls watch my how to properly cure air dry clay. see if that helps. might also be because of air bubbles. make sure to push hard while kneading to get rid of them

May I ask how you clean if your finished figure got dirt? 🥹

depends on the situation. if it's just on the surface, i let it cure and then sand it lightly when i can or use a damp paintbrush to get rid of the dirt. but if it's impossible to clean, i just paint it over.
