- Tiktok has a trend of making very wrong prople very famous. Since 2020 there have been hundreds of video creators that became a sensation on social media. Whether it is due to their dancing skills or humor or another thing that requires no talent whatsoever that defined their internet presence.
I mean you name it, Charlie Damelio, Bella Poarch,Addison Rae, and many others.
But there is one tiktoker that stands out to me the most. Caroline Carr.

its so upsetting to see the punk and goth genre, which has a lot to do with its culture, beliefs and mindset, get taken over by people like this (caroline, tx2, jake webber, mgk etc) who dont speak about anything

Johnie’s been in the emo scene for a long time dude he is not a poser, he may have like started talking to a lot of posers but he himself is not, plus he’s like a raw creator apologizing for a lot of things from his past and he’s being open about it even brining some of it up himself so his community can learn please please please don’t diss him🤧

How you get into drama on Tik tok of all things is beyond me.
One of my friend’s ex girlfriend’s tattoos was copied by her!! The moths on her legs were an exact ripoff of what she got YEARS before that went viral online that she ripped off and claimed as her own. I didn’t know about all of this but I didn’t like her before.
It sickens me to know that people like this, Tx2, MGK, and other TikTok garbage get popular in the scene today rather than individuals who are sincere. So many sincere individuals that need a shot at acclaim and notoriety over these narcissists. They further give the goth and emo scenes a bad name.
I agree so much, also i saw ur tiktok on my fyp i was like “omg i saw one of her videos” im in the goth/punk and alternative scene in general and you have no idea how livid i get seeing people fake being punk or goth. JUST CALL URSELF ALTERNATIVE INSTEAD OF STEALING SUBCULTURES
I agree with most of the things you’ve said, but Jake Webber is actually a pretty chill dude and he is genuinely into the whole alternative scene as well as Johnie.
As a goth, I just want to say that caroline is…what i would call a poser. Her music isn’t really goth (except for like…2 of her songs), and she didn’t really look like it (UNTIL 4 MONTHS AGO). But again, you don’t have to look goth to be goth
And how are you gonna pretend to be punk and then use AI music in your art process. Destroying the government and unoriginality are inherently anti-punk

I’m glad I’m not the only one who is noticing this about her. I never like because she is terrible goth rep. She refers to herself as a goth but she’s definitely not and she supports the fetishization of us goth girls along with tx2 with the whole “goth dommy mommy” thing. Even if they are joking it’s still just annoying, overused and weird. I’ve never seen her mention in any goth culture at ALL I’ve never heard her talk about the music, clubs, famous figures or anything.

I used to follow Caroline on spotify and after i watched this video, i unfollowed, deleted every song from my playlists that she made, and so on. i used to love her music 😭

Omg, finally, someone said it about dolls kill recently. The last couple weeks, I've been seeing more and more creators collaborate with dolls kill pretending like they forgot that it came out last year that they were stealing from other creators. letting corporations, (that steal smaller artists and designers work)on platforms again is just so frustrating, and it's really irresponsible of the influencer to agree to work with them

As a frog owner (i had 2), it was really really weird to see snowflakes/and dumpys handled like that bcs it can completely be so so harmful. our oils form our skin don’t just “go away” after washing our hands… it’s still going to be there, human skin is toxic to frogs outer flesh either way.
