- Members of the Church of England General Synod have blocked the ordination of women bishops. Bishops and clergy voted in favour of the change by large majorities, but the measure failed to reach the required two-thirds majority among lay members.
This is the problem of mixing State and Church. The doctrine should served the scriptures, not the culture.
Why is this even being brought to a vote when the bible clearly states that a Bishop should be the HUSBAND OF ONE WIFE ETC.
Of ONE WIFE, MEANING THE CHURCH.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure when a bishop is ordained it's called being consecrated

Women are calling themselves "bishops and apostles" because of WEAK, Unbalanced and scandalous men. Many of whom that have been caught up in sin in their administration of biblical order. Hell is waiting for all who teach in error!

You're a little late LOL. The Church of England has already ordained it's first female bishop. That being said, the entire Church of England is not from the Bible, and needs to be thrown out.
