Brilliant documentry. I have been asking this question all my life !! I an so pleased to see this. This will form part of my MA fine arts essay as I cant find many artists shouting about this issue ! Well done.
1 Tim. 2:11-12 says: “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.” If Paul says that I'm pretty sure he meant it. So I guess their not Christians. They could convert to some other religion or just become atheist because they don't believe the Bible. That alone disqualifies them.
@@DX-jp7qd "Slaves, obey your earthly masters and strive to please them in all things." I guess Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass were not Christians.
But what is a priesthood without the holy sacraments? It can only be an empty shell, a place for hopeful beliefs that can not be substantiated with an active sacramental life in Christ.
Historians Gary Macy, Kevin Madigan and Carolyn Osiek claim to have identified documented instances of ordained women in the early Church.[67][3] In 2021, excavations at the site of a 1600-year-old Byzantine basilica revealed mosaics that provided evidence of women serving primarily as diaconal ministers in early Christendom (though there has been speculation of other religious leaders or ministers being leaders of convents).[68] Additionally, Paul's letter to the Romans, written in the first century AD, mentions a woman deacon: I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. - Romans 16:1, New International Version, [69] In the late second century AD, the Montanist movement ordained women priests and bishops.[8][70][71][72]
Look at her calling the Church “the institutional church” as a pejorative. She is egotistical and when you realize this, it’s easy to see what their “fight” really is about

We women have so many gifts to share. We need more opportunities to use those gifts, even in leadership roles, but we dont have to be priests to do this.
Ultimately, however, what happened to Humanity does not matter. Like every other story, it was a temporary one; indeed long but ultimately ephemeral. It did not have a coherent ending, but then again it did not need to. The tale of Humanity was never its ultimate domination of a thousand galaxies, or its mysterious exit into the unknown. The essence of being human was none of that. Instead, it lay in the radio conversations of the still-human Machines, in the daily lives of the bizarrely twisted Bug Facers, in the endless love-songs of the carefree Hedonists, the rebellious demonstrations of the first true Martians, and in a way, the very life you lead at the moment
“Outside the Catholic Church… one can have honor, one can have the sacraments, one can sing alleluia, one can answer amen, one can have faith in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and preach it too, but never can one find salvation except in the Catholic Church." - St. Augustine

I don't care who said it -- it's not true. And let's go back to the foundation: no one -- to date -- has ever proven that a God even exists (I think one does -- one that is beyond our comprehension -- however, I owe my belief that there is a God to all the science courses that I took in college -- in my 40s -- I do not owe it to The Church -- not by a long shot). So until we can prove that there is a God (and it is CERTAINLY not The Christian God), everything we say about God is simply our imagination.
How can "Father" Anne say that she was called to the priesthood by God -- "an undeniable fact"? -- she has to be kidding herself. Anyway, how can she says she was called by 'God' when no one to date has proven that God even exists. smh

@Fenix.1111 Yes women held great prominence in the church as spiritual leaders and holy women. But there is no evidence of female ordination to either of the three orders.
Did she call herself Father Anne? Like I know shes not a priest no matter what she thinks she is but why did she use "Father" as her title if she is a woman?
The Church has no authority to deviate from the example Jesus set. It's interesting that these women speak of their desire to be priests while at the same time speaking with disdain of the same institution they want to be part of.

I wonder, why specifically are women not allowed to become priests? I have met wonderful women priests and criminal men priests before. The first woman to ever exist, Eve, was made out of the first man to ever exist, Adam. Women and men are made of the same thing. Technically, women are an extension of men, therefore, by extension women should become priests as well.
@@JayMenace61 Interesting theory! Honestly, it makes me wonder what would have happened if only Eve sinned and Adam had not, or what if both of them resisted the temptation from the evil snake.
@@keagaming9837 Same here, maybe the one gender who sinned would have been sent to earth? But god didn’t see them as man and female, he seen us as humans. Another thing is that Jesus could have also sent the one who sinned to hell, because there’s no point in putting them on earth because they wouldn’t reproduce and sustain the earth of humans. If they both hadn’t sinned, I would believe that the future of humanity would either all be living in Eden and we would all be family, or we just simply wouldn’t exist. It’s kind of weird because there’s so many different takes on what could happen and most of them make sense.
Even the Spanish lady in favour of women priests says it's a "completely different" ministry. My church (Church of Scotland) allowed women ministers in 1968. It had 1.1 million members beforehand and that has now slid to 270,000. Optimistically, it may stabilise at about 100,000. When anyone walks through the door, the first thing they see is - here is a church that has no problem doing the opposite of what it clearly says in scripture. There are other factors at work, but the view that membership would expand with a greater preaching role for women has not been borne out.
@@MiaLuigina The purpose is to speak truth, not keep up to date. The idea of a national church is an issue in Britain - one churchman blesses u-boats, another the planes sent out to sink them - so they can't both be right - though that long pre-dated the decline. Then there is multicultural Britain - when we "celebrate" Christmas - that Christ is come - and then Ramadan - that he is not come and Mohammed's apostasy is the final revelation - so that a child sees in a year that the adults don't really mean what they say. There are issues of faith being passed on in families. There is the rejection of natural theology of theology in Karl Barth. And I could go on...
Well i for one would not attend a church with a female priest, Yes they have the right to be ordained if that is what they want to do, and i also have the right to attend a church not run by a woman, hence i have not been to a church of my usual denomination since 2001 and instead attend a Roman Catholic Church, Everyone has free will and choice when it comes to religion
@@MiaLuigina Churches which are more liberal and more "updated" so to speak are the churches which people are leaving, why? Because if there is no difference between the church and the world there is no need to stay, hence many leave and many more of their children don't become members in the first place. It's the most conservative denominations which are growing the most, why? Because they preach something different, the word of Christ, of repentance and keep true to his word.
All of this is later interpretation and none of it is fact. Absence of evidence for women apostles is not evidence of absence. Besides, there is evidence.

All the saiints were obedient to the Catholic Church even if sometimes they did not agree with some situations they put the Holy Church which is the body of Christ above their ego.Obedience to the Church is Gods will. disobedience and rebellion is the will of Satan .We have to choose sides there is no middle ground
This is not about discrimination, that’s the way our Blessed Lord instituted the sacrament of priesthood, our Lord is a man, so priests are men.!. Our blessed mother Mary is our model as women, she is the greatest creature created by God after our Lord Jesus Christ. God gave us different roles, it doesn’t mean that we are superior or inferior, we are different, but equally important.!. The most important is to be faithful to God. We should be humble and obedient to our holy Catholic Church. It’s also important to take serious our eternal life and the salvation of our souls. Don’t get distracted with earthly things. Our life is so short compared with eternity.
The teachings of Christ are what is to be studied and followed, not the dogma of the hierarchy of the church. Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ most evolved follower. Jesus lived in a time when women were 2nd class citizens. Jesus himself did not take on that philosophy. It’s taken society 2000 years to come as far as we have: which is still not full equality, especially within the Catholic Church. Other denominations are head and shoulders ahead of the Catholic Church.
@@marykoltze9010 St. Mary Magdalene, she was the one who announced the good news: “Jesus Christ is risen!” She is the proof of God’s mercy, the proof of conversion of sinners, she showed us that it is possible to become a saint after repentance. However, she and the other wonderful women followers of our Lord Jesus Christ including our blessed mother Mary, were not present at the last supper. There, our blessed Lord instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist. This is not about who is better, winners or losers. The Holy Catholic Church is the only true church, it is the mystical body of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are not allowed to change anything, not even the Pope. “Women to become priests“ is not church teaching. When we think we are too big or too intelligent in order to accept the true teaching of our church, then unfortunately we are walking the wrong path. After our baptism we are all (men and women) called to be priests, prophets and kings, to bring justice and love, to spread the good news, to be the one who speaks for God, not just in words, but by the way we live, and to bring the light of Jesus Christ to the people around us and to the dark world. It is important to highlight that Judas (the betrayer) was also present in the last supper, meaning that we will always have Judases in our Holy Church, the good seeds are growing together with darnel weeds, but nothing will destroy our church. This is the promise of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. We should pray for Holy Priests and for the conversion of sinners and be holy just as Jesus was holy and we are called to be.
Men and women are not equal because they are not the same. A lot of people will say "I only mean that they are of equal value." But if God loves us infinitely, how could "equality" mean anything?

It is not about sameness at all. Can a man have 18 orgasms in day? I used to do this routinely. But the questions is whether or not having certain sex organs disqualifies someone from the priesthood. It could be viewed that women are especially well suited to the clergy as they tend to have superior verbal skills.
Women wanting to be priests is not about heeding the authentic call of God; it is all about satisfying their wants. Their call for 'inclusion' is not Christocentric, but egocentric. It is about them. We Catholics and other Christians must understand that the priesthood is not about one's self, but always about God. And the reason why the priesthood is exclusively for men is because on the night he was betrayed, at the cenacle, our Lord Jesus gave his mandate to the Twelve who were, after all, men.
I'm sorry, you might have the desire to become a Priest, but you simply can't. It is not the place of us mortals to overturn what has been established by the Lord, he didn't lay his hands on his women followers. That doesn't make them lesser to the men, the most important non-divine human figure is the Blessed Virgin who is obviously a woman.; it simply means it isn't God's will to have women priests for whatever reason he has so ordained (pun not intended)

@M. "Servant of the Church" doesn't mean priest or priestess. Is this not an Epistle of the same chap named Paul who people of a similar opinion to you call a sexist for his saying "women have no place to lecture in Church" (which, as proper understanding reveals, is not actually sexist). I'd be perfectly willing to deem this passage, as well as the passage that follows in Romans 16:7 as one requiring debate if it wasn't for the fact that there has never been any mention of priestesses in the Early Church. To go back to the passage itself, the operative word is "διάκονος", Diakonos. It refers to someone who happened to be a Priest in about 10% of its use in the Bible, this would not evidence one of those cases. I'm sure you'll notice the derivation of the word "Deacon" from this word and believe that women can become Deacons, to which I have to inform you that Diakonos refers to a "Deacon" in only a further 10% of cases within the Bible. In the vast majority of instances where the word "Diakonos" is used, it refers to "a person who ministers", which can easily refer to a preacher or server, perhaps a nun.
I'm sorry. You don't have it right at all. Jesus did not at all "lay hands" on male followers. Jesus did not 'establish' a church. The honor goes to Paul -- who never even knew Jesus personally. Not only was Jesus a practicing Jew, no one believed that Jesus was God when Jesus was alive. No one believed that Jesus had risen from the dead after he died. The Gospels (and there were MANY Gospels) weren't begun to be written down until after Paul completed all his Epistles (approx 70 AD), and some Catholic NT experts think that The Gospels weren't begun to be written down until 100 AD -- about 70 years after Jesus died. It is thought (by some) that The Gospels that we have today were written to coordinate with Paul's Epistles. Oh -- and The Gospels were not written by Matthew, Mark, etc. They are thought to have been written by "The Community of Matthew", etc. Even if The Gospels had begun to be written down in 70 AD, it is thought that Matthew, Mark, etc., were already dead by 70 AD. ONE LAST THING: One of the reasons that only men are Apostles is because women, in Jesus' time, weren't even considered fully human. In fact, The Church itself wouldn't think of women as fully human until sometime between 1200 AD and 1500 AD. Sorry -- I can't remember exactly.
@@FrancesRobinson-yn2ks To say Jesus didn’t lay his hands is to prove to me that you have yet to read the scriptures you intend to lecture me and the 2000 year old church on. There are several instances of the laying of hands for different reasons. One is found throughout the Gospels as Jesus blessed his Apostles with the laying of hands, a tradition they carried on to new believers in confirmation and to their successors in the Episcopate. To say that nobody believed Jesus was God during the time of Jesus begs completely the question why he was crucified. Why was it that the Jewish authorities sought the punishment traditionally reserved for claiming to be God after Jesus claimed the ability to forgive sins (something reserved ENTIRELY to God), or when he claimed to be the Alpha and the Omega, or when he said that he is eternal in saying “Before Abraham was, I AM”? I ask you this very simple question, why was he executed if not for claiming divinity? On the idea that nobody believed Christ rose from the dead, I ask two questions: on one, I’d ask what you have to say about the First Epistle of Saint Peter; and for the second, I’d ask what you have to say about the martyrdom of the Apostles. The First Epistle of Saint Peter, which was undoubtedly written by Peter (seeing as the first real objections to this came in the 1700s with the advent of a new school of Biblical criticism, and seeing as it was attested as being written by Peter from the very first mentions of the book), says “Praise be to the God and father of our LORD Jesus Christ! [another claim of divinity] In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”, are you seriously going to say that they didn’t believe he rose? I further this on mention of the martyrdom of the Apostles: if they didn’t believe Christ rose from the dead, why did they die to testify that he did? The only logical possible explanations of the martyrdom are either that they were all duped or all insane, or Christ truly did rise from the dead. You’re not saying you think they’re insane, you’re going against every possible logic to say they knew but died for a laugh. The Gospels (all FOUR of them) were written within a hundred years of the death of Jesus Christ. Decent scholars date Matthew to the late 50s to the early 60s AD and John to the 70s-90s AD for example. Saint Paul was martyred either in 64 or 65 AD, by which time the Gospel of Matthew was almost certainly completed. The earliest manuscript we have is from around 100AD, and it is a clearly not an original and is amongst many (hence the estimation that the original was completed some time before). As for these scholars you speak of, I’d rather like their names. I do have to say I get rather tired of atheist (and other) apologists claiming unnamed Christian scholars said random things. Again, on your claim it is believed that they were written by the “community of Matthew”, I’d like the names and works of tenured scholars. I’m sure you’ll understand why I prefer that over the snide and sarcastic remarks of an anonymous RUclips figurine. The Gospel of John, for example, declares that it was written by “The Disciple whom Jesus Christ loved”, and the Epistles of Paul testify to the original authorship of the Gospel of Luke (again also giving credence to the fact that the Gospels were completed long before the absurd estimates of your lot). As for YOUR dating of the deaths of the Gospel writers (and I highlight YOUR because no self-respecting and competent scholar would say such a thing) is complete fiction given obvious facts as Luke’s death being no earlier than 84AD and John’s death being around 100AD). Again I’d like the names of these alleged ‘scholars’ as I am rather starting to believe you’re putting too much credence into the words of a crackhead you saw outside of your local library (or some such nonsensical source). You can’t remember the exact date the Church recognised women as fully human because there never was a time they recognised them anything other than fully human, made in the image and likeness of God, and equal recipients of the love of God. Again you reveal yourself to have either never owned a copy of the Bible or, at the very least, to have never picked one up and read more than the front cover. It is odd, with this, that one of the most famous verses in the New Testament is “There is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor free, for we are all one in Christ Jesus”. I really don’t mean to offend when I say that all of what you just said was complete nonsense, the sarcastic ramblings of somebody absolutely infuriated over an image of the Church that has been put up by complete mythology and, at points, complete slander. I really do have to ask where you’re getting these things from, and I’m also inclined to question what religion you are a part of?
@@anthonythatcherchurchilled285 I skimmed enough to know that you aren't correct. I'm, curious: just where did you go to school to get all of your beliefs (NOT facts)? Up until that time, scribes copied, by hand, The Gospels -- over and over and over again for 1400 years. Not only that -- they were copied from one language into another -- and another -- and another.
"Father Ann?" Such nonsense. If you're speaking in the English language, the term would be "priestess." If she wants to be ordained, she needs to go to the Presbyterian, Lutheran, or Episcopal churches.
While some have said that women’s ordination would bring “more people closer to the Church” along with an end to priestly celibacy, the pope disagreed. “Lutherans ordain women, but still few people go to church,” he said. “Their priests can marry, but despite that they can’t grow the number of ministers. The problem is cultural. We should not be naive and think that programmatic changes will bring us the solution.”
@@karintate Men become priests because they are chosen by God to fill the role of Mediator between Him and the people. For those truly called it is not about "man power trip." Christ chose 12 men as apostles, and that is the precedent for men as priests.
@@Reject_Modernity-qj4gl That's not, though. The argument that Christ chose 12 men as apostles and therefore only men can be priests is not really in line with the Gospels. First, Jesus had to choose 12 male apostles in order to qualify as a rabbi. That is the old order. It was before his death and resurrection, after which the old order was replaced by a new order, in which we are all - male and female - baptized into the priesthood of all believers, and in which there is neither male nor female, slave nor free, Jew nor Gentile. To adhere to the old ways is not doing justice to the world that Jesus ushered in, in which established hierarchies are toppled, and a new kingdom is established.

Maybe sexual violations of young children and woman would decrease with women in the position of the Priests… just sayin’ I was raised Catholic, married and converted to the Lutheran faith. Our daughter attended seminary and is a Deacon and a very hard working deacon with a family. There was a time when men ruled everything. It appears the good old boys club does not want women as an equal. Then they no longer have absolute power. Believe me. They don't understand how the Church is structured. The Church is the Bride of Christ. Christ is a male and the Church designates as female since She is the Bride of Christ. The priest represents Christ and they married the Church. Let us be humble under the Church. No hate but hope the Holy Spirit enlightens us all.
This is just an example of pride manifesting itself into sin. Their pride turned into resentment at not being able to be priests and that resentment led them to commit this sacrilege. If anything them doing this *proves* they should never be priests.
A woman cannot be a priest. It's a Sacrament of Holy Orders. All these other religions broke away from the Catholic church because some person disagreed with Catholic teaching and allowed women ministers. They are misled and are wrong. All the ceremonies these women perform are invalid. They cannot celebrate Mass, baptize, or confirm anyone. God gave women a role, but these women don't want that role. Ummm, those are denominations... not full on other religions. Also, most protestant denominations don't allow women to be priests, which is quite sad since how someone was born is able to determine if they are eligible to become a priest or not. I have met intelligent women who cannot become priests because they are women, but I have also met pedo***** men who were able to become priests with no issues whatsoever, how the way this boggles the mind. I don't think this is an issue of whether women can become priests or not, at this point it becomes a question of if women should get the same respect as men. Even if it was 100% confirmed and agreed upon that women should not become priests, there would definitely still be people out there who ignore women and laugh at everything they say just because they cannot get into a respectable position like priest. I am very sad as you can probably tell.
I think it is because Christ is the Groom... in person of those priests which are men, the Church (people) the bride means female, now if we have female priest , then it will be bride and bride, not groom and bride... I don't know my head hurts... i think we forgot the law of obedience.

No one will truly know when the end times will be, and from all the things I have been through over the years, I can confirm that things can get MUCH MUCH worse societal wise. Women priests are not a bad thing, but men who are pedo****** are, we must determine if someone should be a priest or not by if they are a good or bad person. Also, for all we know the end of the world and the rapture could happen when everything seems perfectly normal. Strike when nothing seems like it could go wrong, that is the best time to strike when everyone least expects it. Yes for all we know it could happen tomorrow, or it could happen in 1,000 years. Only God knows the future, only he will 100% know for sure.
Ah, you're confusing priesthood (clergy) with sisterhood (laity). The leadership of the Church belongs to both males and females because "all are one in Christ Jesus". Gender has nothing to do with it.
3:23 I hate to break it to you, but excommunication means ZERO salvation after death unless the Pope or a bishop delegated by him hears the confession of the excommunicated and gives him/her absolution and lifts the barrier of excommunication.

Who knew gender could affect who you could be in a church. No Catholic can claim to have a religious vocation unless the Church (a diocese, an order, a congregation etc) agrees. Without that confirmation it is just a feeling.
That is nonsense. How could a diocese, an order or a congregation “agree” when the Vatican has said it is not possible to even discuss it? I am certain if the Vatican asked, congregations everywhere could point to women in ecclesial ministry (including those sitting in the pews week after week) and say “Yes, we confirm that she has a vocation.” It is the Holy Spirit who calls and in the end the Holy Spirit will prevail. Probably not in my lifetime. But, soon and very soon!
Every one of these women ordained are serving congregations, are chosen by their congregants to serve. And they are in the line of succession. The first ordained by male bishops in good standing with Rome and later these bishops also ordained women bishops that continue the unbroken line of succession even though they are not recieved as peers by the Vatican etc. some others do in secret for their safety.
@@lenarsa66 none of the woman ordinations are valid. Male bishops with good standing with Rome lost that privilege when they ordained women. Subsequently, each of the bishops, male or female, ordained by woman bishops are invalid too.
I heard the woman that was ordained use the words "I felt"..."I was moved"..."I felt excited"..." I feel" and etc, all words about "feelings." That is why God, who does not change, chooses men not women to be Pastors, Priests, and etc. Lets be clear. Genuine faith in Jesus Christ and His word, is NOT based on "feelings" but on fact. Feelings change, but facts...Holy Scripture...does not change, no matter what year it is. By nature, women depend primarily on their "feelings" to make decisions. Men, by nature, make their decisions based on fact. Also, the woman suggested that the Pope have a group of women get together and discuss women being priests. What she clearly does not understand, is that God is not asking men or woman to discuss how they "feel" about what the Bible says, He is asking those who truly believe in Him........ to obey what is says.
3:53 So she was sad (and seemed conflicted) about giving up the true One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostlic Church after having attended and being involved in it her entire life . . . Yet she chose to give it all up for her desires that were not true to the faith. Really sad that she (and other women "priests") would rather give up the true faith and embrace excommunication all for their false faith. They say they want the Vatican to accept them and women priesthood, but if they won't accept the teaching and tradition of only men being priests, then that cuts them out from being in communion with the Church. Communion=being one/together, and they are not. Anne thinks that the Vatican is rejecting her and calling her a reject. But by taking on a false priesthood for herself, she rejected the Vatican and the Christ's Church. We all have to pray for Anne and any Catholic who wants/decides to leave the Church because they disagree with any teaching, especially the one on male priesthood.
Fighting for female ordination is simply fighting for excommunication. Our Lord Jesus Christ, despite His unprecedented approach to women and their dignity, never made any woman an Apostle, even His Immaculate Mother or Mary Magdalene. Only the Apostles were made priests during the Last Supper. They themselves and other future priests who have the apostolic succession, are ordained in the image of Christ the Eternal Priest, in whom the words of the Exodus were fulfilled: "The lamb must be a year-old male and without blemish." He was truly an unblemished and male Lamb and so the priests are called to follow His example. Never in the history of Church were women ordained to priesthood and they will never be. God simply didn't grant the Church the power to ordain women, even if some heretical bishops perform the rite over a woman, it's an empty gesture, nothing happens except from mortal sin and excommunication latae sententiae. There's no such thing as a call to priesthood for a woman, it's the tempting of satan disguised as a pious desire. If anyone claims the Church is wrong and the know better what Jesus said it didn't say, it's pride - the source of all other sins, a sense of superiority over God. It once made the devil being cast out from heaven and now he uses it against us. The popes always supperted the only truth about female "priests" as a heresy and St. John Paul II used his papal infallibility to dispel any further doubts on this topic - ordaining a woman to priesthood is IMPOSSIBLE. There's no discussion with the will of God, one can act against it but it will lead only to hell.
I can't understand why some people are mad at women becoming priests. They should be mad at other incidents such as sexual abuse of children and discrimination against indigenous people. There are lots of other things that are actually undermining the authority of the Catholic Church and DISTORTING GOD'S WILL.
If you don't want to follow the rules of an organised religion, don't follow it. Make your own sect Why do YOU want validation from anyone your but God? Or are you just doing this for clout?
The Bible actually says something to the effect of "as long as a handful of followers geather in the name of chrishtianity it is a testimony to their faith". I do jot recall any gender specifications, specific structure, building or garment to be necessary, nor an actual ceremony master.
1 Corinthians 14:34 ESV The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.
@@thebellyguy6712 Well that's a bummer, silent priestesses then? Also how can the Bible be considered the source of truth if it cites law outside of it?
You become priest in the Roman Church, we leave the Roman Church. I have no problem if women are appointed as Church's ambassador to other nations or such high leadership positions. As a matter of fact, Church should appoint Catholic women of good standing to such positions. I strongly believe some of them would do much better job than some clueless archbishops. But as priest, I will have problem accepting.
Wow…everything about this screams ‘idolatory’…and maybe narcissism too…poor people, hopefully some day they will see the true beauty and dignity of being a woman rather than becoming a caricature of Priesthood and what it means to be ‘Father’
That is blasphemy. The church or man can not change what is from God or written in the bible. What they want doesn't make it right. The ego and pride is on display not true faith.
Woman Catholic Priest ==> Women Catholic Bishops ==> Woman Catholic Pope. The Catholic Church will NOT change on its own, it will be by some type of force of change for the better of all Catholics in the Roman Catholic Church. Good Luck !!
Not acceptable.. at all . There is no discrimination . Has God discriminate women by making them females? Or are men are discriminated by not having able to conceive? Vice versa?
A woman can never, and I mean NEVER have a vocation to become a priest. The vocation comes from God and the Church is from God. Whatever happens, woman will never be priests! A bishop has as much power to ordain a rock as he as of ordaining a woman.
As Lutheran from Denmark, where female priests are very common, I’m actually quite sad about this movement. One thing is women in the priesthood, which for me is fine, but the fact that they change the wording, the liturgy, the very soul of the Roman church is very sad and highly problematic. If they want to be taking serious, they should keep to the teachings of the church in everything other than gender. Our female priests, still say the Lord, the Father, and so one. They haven’t changed a word, which I find very good.
@@mikegallant811then he will pray for their conversion because they’re delusional via pride. The deadliest of all sins. Men cannot give birth, and women cannot be ordained since scripture directly opposes that.
To add to my urging of these women to join a group like Episcopalianism: There is a video noting that the majority of priests in the Church of Sweden are now female. One of the oddities of this whole thing is that if artificial discrimination is removed, clergy is likely to become a majority female occupation. This is because it is a high verbal skills area and females tend to naturally be a bit better on verbal areas and males a bit better on math areas. One reason some groups are dead set on continuing male only is they are aware that clergy could become majority female if artificial discrimination is lifted.

Anthony, from my point of view they are not listening to Satan, nor are they persecuting the church. All these women want to be is members of the priesthood. And no matter how much the Holy Father tries to close the door in their face I think that these women in the Roman Catholic women priests movement, will continue to grow in numbers. Do you know what happens when enough people are pushing up against a door? Let me tell you this... The door eventually gives way or is broken down. Now don't take this to mean that I am rejecting God and by that I mean our heavenly father, or his son Jesus, or their companion the Holy Spirit. I will never turn my back on God, and I will certainly never stop being Christian. And I will try to remain Catholic if I at all can. But The Church must adapt. Eventually we may have to dispense with what is said by Timothy, and with certain parts of canon law. Otherwise I fear we may have another schism, in this case the American wing of the Catholic Church breaking away from Rome.
God made them male and female, God made the church, God ordained men to be His priest. But of course people will want to make their own god and call it truth.
Remember that Satan and his rebel angels can initiate the form of angels of light. I pray that these women will see past their deception, and come back to the Church.

@@keagaming9837I think it has something to do with eve being the first person to sin and tempting Adam to eat the apple. That’s just my theory though.
Are the numbers directly related to women in leadership roles or that the entire message is outdated and barely applicable to today's society?

Our blessed mother Mary is our model as women, she is the greatest creature created by God after our Lord Jesus Christ. God gave us different roles, it doesn’t mean that we are superior or inferior, we are different, but equally important.!. The most important is to be faithful to God. We should be humble and obedient to our holy Catholic Church. It’s also important to take serious our eternal life and the salvation of our souls. Don’t get distracted with earthly things. Our life is so short compared with eternity.
God bless you, Glendys
The teachings of Christ are what is to be studied and followed, not the dogma of the hierarchy of the church. Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ most evolved follower. Jesus lived in a time when women were 2nd class citizens. Jesus himself did not take on that philosophy. It’s taken society 2000 years to come as far as we have: which is still not full equality, especially within the Catholic Church. Other denominations are head and shoulders ahead of the Catholic Church.

St.

It’s not about whether women and men are equal, it’s about whether they are the SAME, and they are not.
@Responsible World equal with each other, not the same as each other
@Responsible World Equality != sameness. You can't expect men to give birth now, would you? Each have their own role to fulfill, don't mix them up.
Men and women are not equal because they are not the same.
A lot of people will say "I only mean that they are of equal value." But if God loves us infinitely, how could "equality" mean anything?
Historians Gary Macy, Kevin Madigan and Carolyn Osiek claim to have identified documented instances of ordained women in the early Church.[67][3] In 2021, excavations at the site of a 1600-year-old Byzantine basilica revealed mosaics that provided evidence of women serving primarily as diaconal ministers in early Christendom (though there has been speculation of other religious leaders or ministers being leaders of convents).[68] Additionally, Paul's letter to the Romans, written in the first century AD, mentions a woman deacon:
I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae.

In the late second century AD, the Montanist movement ordained women priests and bishops.[8][70][71][72]
Saint Peter, the rock upon whom Christ built His Church, pray for us!
I just started reading the Bible. This reminds me of the Book of Numbers.

He was truly an unblemished and male Lamb and so the priests are called to follow His example.
There are lots of other things that are actually undermining the authority of the Catholic Church and DISTORTING GOD'S WILL.
we can be made at both ok

The Bible actually says something to the effect of "as long as a handful of followers geather in the name of chrishtianity it is a testimony to their faith". I do jot recall any gender specifications, specific structure, building or garment to be necessary, nor an actual ceremony master.
1 Corinthians 14:34 ESV
The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.

Never ! Even not in a dream...
The ego and pride is on display not true faith.
why are you mocking The Lord
Women cannot be priests
Ofcourse they can
Is no one gonna talk about how she’s calling herself father Ann?
Woman Catholic Priest ==> Women Catholic Bishops ==> Woman Catholic Pope. The Catholic Church will NOT change on its own, it will be by some type of force of change for the better of all Catholics in the Roman Catholic Church. Good Luck !!
Strangely there was no mention of the LGBT stuff yet the symbolism was everywhere. Go figure.
Not acceptable.. at all .
There is no discrimination .
Has God discriminate women by making them females? Or are men are discriminated by not having able to conceive? Vice versa?

Feminist narcissism. It's not about Jesus or the Church, it's all about them.
Unbiblical heresy. If you love God than obey His Word and listen.
They put their ego above God's will.
Do you know God's will when you see it?
Ain’t gonna happen.Give it up ladies!
They will never give up and what is the Holy Father going if their numbers keep increasing. What then?
@@mikegallant811then he will pray for their conversion because they’re delusional via pride. The deadliest of all sins. Men cannot give birth, and women cannot be ordained since scripture directly opposes that.
Heresy
If women are fighting men to be priest then married priest first.
Father Ann?
These women can say that they are priests but they are not.
At least in Rome's eyes.
And she gets salary with this? From were?
She really think she is so illuminated that can change the history of the church? Wow..not at all humility...just pride. Not obedience but rebellious...and I think this is going to spread like the flu...
She receives zero funding from the Catholic Church. Zero. She does this all on her own. This is not a money or power grab. She felt a call and discerned it.
I release Revelations 3:7 and Isaiah 22:22 for all the women trying to become priests in the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus just kicked the door down, we will fulfill our destinies and no one can stop us! Thank You Jesus!
These verses have nothing to do with female "priesthood", there's no such thing as priesthood being destiny for a woman, it's called pride and temptation, God doesn't call women too priesthood, Satan does
@pawejabonka5095 That's why the catholic church has no power. But the other Christians are resurrecting bodies and people are walking out of wheelchairs. I rebuke you and your traditions of men. Jesus never said women can't be in ministry. And when Paul said that he was dealing with people worshipping goddesses and culture of only women. It's supposed to be men and women uniting as 1 for the glory of Christ. You know nothing.
@@Yeshua_ If you despise the Catholic Church, why do you have the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on your profile pic? Aren't you against this form of worship, based on the private apparitions of Jesus to St. Margate Marie Alacoque? The Catholic Church has the only power as established by Christ and the only Church possessing the unspoiled message from God, the only way to salvation. This will be revealed to all of us on the judgment. The Church is for everyone, but as a man will never be a mother and a woman will never be a father, so a woman will never be a priest. We were created equal in dignity but different in what we're destined for, that's God's will expressed through the wisdom and teaching of the Church
Jesus didn't appoint any women apostles. Not one. When he told them to go forth and spread the Word, they were all men.
The day the Roman Catholic Church allows women priest is the day I leave!

Jesus will be asking these women why they are listening to Satan and not Him and persecuting His church. Why?

@@bulbakingdoot3514 Don't simply quote a bible verse without acknowledging the true understanding of that context and theology behind it at that point in time. Anyone can quote a bible, the meaning does not translate according to your whims and fancies. A deacon in translation at the point of time is leadership, which does not make her a priest. Does not mention that she can or did perform the act of consecration of the bread and wine. If women have been allowed to become priests, Jesus would have done so by putting Mary Magdalene instead of St Peter! Women can be leaders, yes, you are called to serve.
